Loved the service and entertainment
The service was excellent!! Specially Elmer and his team. Elmers drinks were AMAZING!!!! He went beyond to we make sure we had a good time. Cristian was also very attentive and very friendly. Also manuel, jonathan and Diana did a great job with entertainment. gave four stars because our rooms water smelled like suer . We had to complain -they fixed the issue but the next day it was the same again, we complained again and they fixed it again.. The couple that went with us also had rooms water smell like suer. Also, the first day we didn’t have towels in our room and the couple that went with us they didn’t get towels in room on their last night.

7 Days in Paradise
7 days in paradise Having red prior reviews for the resort we were a little hesitant in what to expect upon our arrival and stay. I must preface it with the fact that we did stay in a preferred club oceanfront balcony room. As for the room the bed was very comfortable as well as the pillows. Room was clean and tidy. But as the resort is an older resort and has gone through three hurricanes this season it does need some updating. But having said that shower toilet sink was all in working order. We had access to shower gel shampoo conditioner the necessities in your daily routine. As well as access through the Hyatt inclusive app to contact housekeeping for anything that we would need. The rooms are not as spacious as other resorts are although they do provide in room safe as well as refrigerator with drinks. The grounds of the resort are immaculate and extremely tropical The trees and foliage is just beautiful. The pools are very nice although we did not spend a great deal of time in them as the beach itself is just breathtakingly beautiful. The calmest shoreline in the hotel zone. We were able to be in the water every single day of our stay playing with the waves as they came in or just standing in the ankle deep surf enjoying the water. As for entertainment we were there for Halloween and Day of the Dead. The Halloween dinner and show was enjoyable. The day of the Dead presentation in the lobby with the Katrina's and altars was breathtakingly beautiful. My only dismay with that was that it was dismantled before the evening and photos could have been taken. I just wish they would have left it up until the next morning for everyone to enjoy. We enjoyed the food I've read in prayer reviews where people did not like the food. We ate at the preferred club breakfast which has a waffle with berries that is amazing and a bagel with locks and cream cheese which is to die for. We enjoyed the hibachi table and the show which was extremely fun and the food was very tasty. One evening we went for dinner to commit to and ordered off the menu We had appetizers salad main course ramen soup and of course dessert everyone ordered something different and were extremely happy with not only the taste and quality of the food but the service was exemplary. El patio we dined at twice. The mochaejeta was amazing. My husband enjoyed mahi-mahi there and on a return visit I had delicious tacos which were very tasty. We do travel with a friend that has seafood allergies. The staff at all restaurants were extremely helpful and reassuring in the matter of which her food was prepared and made certain to keep her at ease that her health and safety was their main priority. We did dying at the buffet for breakfast on a few occasions these selection was adequate The omelets were delicious as well as the crepes. We also ate shrimp cocktail and octopus tacos on the beach which were delicious. We enjoyed the food very much No one complained that they had anything that was dry or tasted bad so we were satisfied with the food. The resort could use some rehab in regards to ceilings showing some water damage. One of the elevators was not operable due to the fact that they are waiting for parts to repair it after the last hurricane. The temperature of our room was delightful as it was extremely comfortable to sleep at night and the rooms were cool. In conclusion I would say that in visiting everyone has their own preferences taste and wants out of their vacation. The beach and the staff are amazing at this resort they cannot do enough for you. It does go without saying that they do need to renovate keeping in mind that the resort is older. But we spend most of our time outdoors at the beach are concerns were having cool drinks good food and a beautiful beach. Is dreams sans 10 for 10 I would say no but we did enjoy ourselves very much overall I would give them a seven out of 10. But for customer service they get a 10 they're rock stars So happy to help you always smiling and friendly We did not meet anyone that was not respectful of us or willing to help even if they were in the middle of doing something else always smiling. I would just like to command a few of the employees who were extremely friendly helpful . Ricardo in The preferred club couldn't do enough for us any issue that came up he was on top of it and got to taken care of quickly. Jenny a waiter in the main lobby so friendly great service good conversational list. Miguel the bartender in the preferred club makes the most excellent mango margaritas and cosmopolitans We enjoyed them all week long. Gustavo the beach concierge was on top of it every day saving our spot for us he couldn't do enough to help us. Having never stayed downtown before we were concerned with noise or ease of access to shopping. There is shopping right across the street and down the avenue which you can walk to if you'd like. We took the bus for $1 US down to the ferry and went across to Isla mujeres and spent the day there such a wonderful day. We enjoyed our stay at Sands.

Wonderful stay with very happy and helpful staff
My first time at an All Inclusive resort and spa for my first experience in Cancun. Everything was amazing from the beginning until the end. The bell boys and concierge were very friendly and helpful to answer any of my questions and concerns and the VIP agents helped with providing extra information on the amenities and tours that they can offer. My room was a partial ocean view and I was put above the bar area which was a bit loud at times but as a solo traveler and someone that didn’t travel with a family it was nice to have some entertainment while I was in my room. Might be a bit much for those that don’t care for the loudness or if the noise might make it hard to sleep. The food here was great. I only visited one of the restaurants and they served Italian cuisine but it was all really great and the waiters were very friendly and attentive. The cafe they had served coffee options and had ready to go pastries and small bites as needed to start your day. The bars and entertainment were fun to hang out at and meet other travelers. They had different entertainment each night from Karaoke or a magic show or just singers that you can listen to as you enjoy your cocktails or wine. The beach outside was beautiful and the water was so warm and relaxing. Great view of the skyline and other hotels across the way. Much needed if you want to relax and take in the sun. Overall I enjoyed my stay here as I have never experienced an All Inclusive resort before and this definitely exceeded my expectations! Will be back here again for any future trips out to Cancun

Great time!
My fiancee and I had an amazing time at the Dreams Sands resort in cancun. The hotel is beautiful and clean and the rooms are more than spacious for 2 people. The resort managed to not feel too crowded the whole time even though there were a lot of people. There were a lot of spaces to be in so people spread out. The entertainment was great and unique. Thank you Jonathan for giving us a great experience! We were here for Dia De Muertos and the resort put on an amazing outdoor dinner and show with traditional Yucatanian food and dancing. Would definitely recommend staying here for a relaxing time.

Great service, great pleace
The place is amazing, perfect food, but the service is even better, I was very well served by everyone, but I remember one who always asked me how I was and never forgot my name, his name is Samuel, thank you very much for the service, whenever I can I will be returning to enjoy with my wife and children!
