Very impressed with this resort. The facilities are first class. The beach was incredible. So many pools - we never had to fight for a lounger. The food was very impressive and the service was super.

Gorgeous location, the public areas are really well maintained, and they are currently restoring the paths. Lots of exotic plants which I love. The staff were pretty excellent to be honest, very attentive and helpful (besides the odd restaurant waiter ). One thing that I kind of hated was that there were weddings practically every day, often multiple on the same day. Mostly they're in separate areas that hotel guests don't use, but building things in the pool that restricts use, and having loud music until after 11pm is inappropriate. Fortunately our room faced outwards, but for rooms overlooking the pool areas, this is a big problem if you've got little kids. We stayed for 2 weeks, and the entertainment was quite samey and late on, so we didn't benefit much because it was too late for our young child. Even so, the restaurant food was generally excellent (world buffet pretty average though), pools were lovely and we never had an issue getting a lounger. Personally I found it was worth it to get a preferred club room, for a little bit of extra service and access to the Bali beds. The bedrooms could do with refurbishing, but it was spacious and the bed was super comfortable (pillows too big though). Lovely view from the balcony, but again I think that area needs a refurb. Bathroom needs better lightning and ventilation, but all in all we were very happy with our room. Housekeeping forgot to replenish coffee etc most days, which I don't understand, but via the app it was possible to request missing things, additional pillows, etc. It's possible to book excursions etc from the hotel, and you can definitely negotiate!

The staff at Dreams made our experience memorable and fun! Super Mario at the Mermaid bar was attentive and makes great cocktails! Be sure to look him up! We had breakfast at the World Cafe each morning and were impressed with our server, Ulleses! He was friendly and kept our green juice glasses full and our coffee hot.

Lovely Family Getaway
Beautiful sandy beach; children's pool area great; wish they put out more loungers-when busy can't always find one. Rooms great. Resort has lots of trees/greenery. Housekeeping services good although not always consistent with how rooms made up each day. Located north of Cancun and beach more protected so less seaweed and they clean it up very well. My only complaint is the noise from the weddings that are held in the middle of the resort; first night music quite loud...however the music usually ended by 11 pm. Spa services excellent...ask for Jesus who did my facial!
