Best family resort!
My mom and I were able to take a girls trip here. This place was amazing for the two of us and familes alike. We had a room in building 7 o the ground floor which is right by the pool and very convenient. We were able to stay an entire we week so we tried all of the restaurants. Our favorites were the seafood and the French - but all were amazing. We didn't eat or drink a single bad thing on the trip. The service from the room, pool and resturatnts all were amazing. One of the staff even went out of his way to get a coconut and sliced it open for me when I didn't get one the day before. The staff was friendly and ready to help. We got room service for breakfast every morning and they were always on time or early. If something was wrong, they fixed immediately upon request. There is something for everyone here from the morning yoga to the rec center with video games, pool, rock climbing, tennis, pickleball - you name it! We played water and beach volleyball, watched as people had experiences with the dolphins on the beach (which has amazing sand and a boardwalk straight to the bar!) and then there's the lazy river and the water park. Always something to do - or option to do nothing. So many pools to fit the vibe that you are looking for. We ventured out one day to Isla Mujeres and got so much help planning the taxis and trips from the hotel we didn't have to worry about anything. We spent time in the spa - which was amazing services overall and has so many extra things, we were there for two hours during a rainstorm! Went over to see the golf course one day, and that's how we sold the men in our lives to come back next year! We loved it so much we booked for our extended family already for next year and can't wait to share it with them!

Good resort, especially for families for young families
We just returned from a 6 night stay at Dreams with our kids (22, 19, and 16). Overall it was a great trip. We usually go to an all inclusive resort at least once a year in the Cancun area - always staying somewhere different. Normally, its just my husband and I, so we stay at adults only resorts. We have gone to a couple other resorts with the kids. Pros: * Large resort and never felt crowded (sometimes felt too large), the grounds were very nice * Food was very good *Lots of large pools Cons: *Activites were geared towards younger families. While there is a teen area with games, you couldn't go in there as a family. *Not enough places to hang out in the evenings. We were looking for a place to hang out and play cards after dinner - just couldn't find a venue for that. There is a small lobby bar and that was it. Would have liked a sports bar type venue for family activities in the evening (we've had that at 2 other family resorts - and loved it). *Pools... got very hot and cloudy by the end of the day. They are showing their age with the wear and tear. *Not enough chairs and umbrellas for the size of the resort. *It is next to impossible to get a reservation for the habachi restaurant. The app opens at 1pm on each day, and you have to be on at 1pm to try to get a reservation. 3 of us tried everyday and never got a reservation. They are full by 1:01 pm. *My son (19) had to carry his drivers license with him everywhere in order to get a drink. This got old - especially in the pools. It would have been nice if they had a bracelet that would indicate he was old enough to drink. While I have more cons that pros, it was a good resort and a great trip.

Amazing stay!!
We had an amazing 4 day stay over the 4th of July holiday. Our two kids (11 and 8) had an amazing time, and enjoyed the pools since they aren’t very deep. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, the resort is spread out making it feel like there are little to no crowds. We did opt to upgrade to preferred, but aside from the preferred lounge(which we used a lot), I don’t see any need to upgrade. The Maris restaurant for breakfast (part of the preferred club) was sloth speed slow with service, as was fusion for dinner. There are a lot of weddings every night, but we loved listening to the music and people watching. The weddings didn’t go late into the night, maybe ended around 10 or earlier. We take a noise machine with us when we travel, so we had zero issues with noise! The drinks are great! Bartenders at the lobby bar and preferred club were excellent! We stopped by the club a few nights but the techno music was not for us. One night the Dj didn't show up till almost 11pm (supposed to open at 1030) so people were just sitting around waiting. Our kids used the kids club a few times. Even our older one enjoyed it. He said they had a video game console and movies playing. They did various craft and activities. In the evenings they offered “camping” which looked super cute and interactive when we walked by. The girls at the club are really sweet with the kids. The food was great overall. We enjoyed the Brazilian and the Mexican the most. Their service and meals were excellent! Room service was quick and good as well. The entertainment was fun! Great for both adults and kids. They have a great setup in the theater, complete with bar service. This is an excellent resort! We had such a great time, that we’ve already booked our next stay! Can’t wait to come back and make more amazing memories!

Excellent Famili Trip to Dreams Playa Mujeres
We had a great trip to Dreams Playa Mujeres!! Our Pool Concierge Alberto was AMAZING! He had a cabana ready for us everyday and helped us with dinner reservations every night even tho they weren’t technically needed (so we got into dinner each night quickly and easily). Service and food throughout was outstanding! Kids had a blast as well - the bracelet making activity was a fave for them! We absolutely recommend this resort!!!

Amazing resort. So much to do. Food was excellent and I never felt rushed or as though I had to wait for anything. The best vacation I ever took to date. The staff is the heart of this resort. Service is stellar.
