Nov 21, 2025Great option for a family vacation
Family vacation with small children and it was overall a good experience. The best part of the place is the staff. All staff greets with a smile, they try their best to greet you with a name, Especially Jaime Lagunas (pool concierge) who was attentive from day one, greeted us with a smile, remembered our preferences every day and checked in with us to see if we needed anything throughout the day. He made our time on the beach seamless and enjoyable every day. Facilities are outdated but kept clean, even public bathrooms (with an exception of one location we saw) were always clean. We had stayed in preferred club section and the biggest plus for us was having access to beach cabanas without charge. Club bars were okay, not too shelf but most basics are available. Small waterpark for kids was great, shallow water and lots of small slides and the big water slides on the side was fun for my older kid (11) as well. Can't speak for kid's club as we only used it once for a couple hours. Beach was beautiful, not too much seaweed like the resorts closer to the airport. Dolphins are visible even if you don't choose the swimming activity ($). Some cons, there were so many weddings during our stay and the music at night was unbearably loud. Almost every night, until 10-11pm there was really loud music that made impossible to rest. Soundproofing is non-existent as the doors have a gap under and if you are sensitive to noise, check event schedule before you book. Food was okay, average for all-inclusive. With some exceptions, you can't make a reservation to restaurants so arrive when they open to eat at a restaurant of your choice. Beware, unlike the resorts closer to the airport, there were so many mosquitoes. Bug spray is offered in the room but make sure to bring an after-bite.

At the sands bar, Mario (aka "Super Mario") was incredibly efficient and attentive to us while serving drinks and food. He was one of the best bartenders I met during our stay and if you ever go to this resort, look for Mario as he provides top tier services for folks staying on the resort. So friendly and great at his job!

Great stay
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our stay was a great experience. Special mention to Primo Tivo who took our luggage on our first day and provided an excellent introduction to the resort. He was especially helpful with information about the resort and amenities. This helped us tremendously since it was our first time at this resort. Overall, the services at the resort and the staff were awesome!

Great Service on The Beach
The service here has been excellent. We loved spending our days on the beach Bali Beds! Our guy Jaime L was super helpful letting us know the days events and giving us suggestions.

Enjoyed our 2nd visit
2nd time going to this resort as my son enjoyed our first visit. We choose to go during an off-peak time because in my opinion this resort really shines when it is not at full capacity. First room we were assigned was not the ocean view room we booked but after a few discussions with the preferred desk they did upgrade us to a master ocean view which is a fantastic room (6327) for the remainder of our stay once it had become available. Food is pretty good for an all inclusive. My son (8) was obsessed with the ice cream parlor and we'd go two times a day. Beach area is great and the waiters really take care of you. Shows are cheesy but fun for the kids. Drinks are very good - guava margarita in the preferred club was really nice. Overall it was a nice stay and my son really enjoyed himself. He attended the kids club and enjoyed going each day as well.
