January Trip to Dreams
First time at a Dreams resort and had an excellent time. Buffet for breakfast hit the spot every morning, they had anything and everything you could want. The Grill and Wrap/Salad place were both great options for snacks/lunch. The dinner options were abundant and all very delicious. Though I may have been cut off at the Brazilian steakhouse for eating too much meat, my button was still green. Lol. Multiple pool options all with their own swim up bar, and wait staff around pools was excellent and very accommodating. Golf course was nice, greens are a little beat up cause people don't repair their ball marks, and even got to see Coco, the 13' crocodile. Definitely bring your own balls if nothing else. They charge $150 for a box of TP5s. Cheapest dozen was still $50. Overall great experience and would recommend.

Amazing 10 day family vacation!!!
We just got back from Dreams Playa Mujeres and absolutely loved it! We were there on a family vacation for 10 days. This resort is beautiful. The pools are wonderful and the grounds are kept immaculate. The service was outstanding and all the staff were very helpful. We stayed in building 6 in room 6330 and room and view was amazing. We did get the preferred package that we found to be of great value as we were able to utilize all amenities. We really enjoyed the preferred lounge as this was a nice option for a quick bite and coffee in the morning instead of the buffet as well as to have drinks before and after our dinner in the evening. Our favourite restaurant was Maris. As part of the preferred package you can have breakfast and lunch here which was always really good. All restaurants were good. We only had to wait twice to be seated and the restaurants give you a buzzer which makes it easy wonder around the resort or go to the lounge while you wait. Our longest wait was roughly 30 minutes. All other times we were seated right away. Bali beds at the beach and around the mermaid pool are also available to preferred guests. We read negative reviews that beds weren’t available. We never had an issue getting a bed at the pool or beach. They are first come first serve and then the pool conceriege comes around to confirm your room number. We also read negative reviews about the amount of weddings and the noise. There was 9 weddings over our 10 day stay and we never found them to be a burden. There is some music but not overwhelming and all is quiet at the resort by 10pm. Service at the pool and beach was great! Shout out to Luis at the Mermaid and Sea Legs pool bars! “Mike! Mike! Mike!” Luis You’re the best and Thanks again! Look forward to seeing you again! Lazy River, waterpark, and waterslides were also a nice bonus here and fun for the entire family! We had a great vacation here and will definitely be returning! We wish we could have stayed longer!

Fun family vacation
We had a lovely 7 day stay as a family of four with 2 toddlers, grandparents and sister/brother in law. Facilities were beautiful and well kept. Service was great, everyone is so warm and friendly and working so hard. Pools were great, but pool floors were quite rough. Water shoes for the kids was a lifesaver. Beach had beautiful white sand. A bit of seaweed on beaches but staff do a great job maintaining it. Special thanks to bartenders: Alex, Luis, Rene, David. Servers Ulisses, Lilliana, Samuel at Maris and Samuel at World Cafe. Only blip was arriving at 6pm after a long flight and needing to listen to a timeshare sale immediately upon arriving. It was a bit pushy but understand staff are just doing their jobs. Timing wasn’t ideal as we were tired and hungry and excited to explore the facility. Food was delicious, we tried a different restaurant each night of our stay and enjoyed everything. The buffet restaurant was great too, staff work so hard to provide great service to a constant influx of people coming in and out. Housekeeping and turn down service were not always consistent but we used the app to order services we needed if we had to. Would highly recommend. Gracias a todos for a wonderful time!

For the drinks and view, not the food
The location is beautiful and the pools/beach are really wonderful. The food was just kind of, meh and overall a bit on the salty side. This is a place to go to for the unlimited drinks, pool, and beach access.

Find another place
The hotel is family-friendly, but is not well-kept. The food is terrible at the restaurants. The buffet offers lots of options but the service is terrible, the two times we ate there no one brought us any drinks. We upgraded to Preferred Club but the room was still not very nice. Paint splatters on the walls, stains on the couch, chips in the furniture, cobwebs, etc. The "best" restaurant is the french resturant, and it had a 1.5 hour wait to be seated and another 1 hour wait to be served food, which was not very good. The desserts at the restaurants are all the same. My parents had no hot water for 2 evenings in their room, the building had run out of hot water, and the resort was not fully booked.
