The food is not good, only select foods were worth eating. Not worth all the money spent. The security guard followed us around and told us we could not enter our friends room. The desserts ate disgusting to say the least. They offer "free" water sports, then turned me around 3 times that I went to go do it. Even after booking, the water sport attendant was rude and dismissive and did not let us go on the water. But somehow the water sports that you pay for was offered... So I didn't do a single water activity. Will never come back or refer anyone to this resort.

Fantastic Resort with great people and food. Alberto worked hard everyday to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Pedro was always happy and smiling. Luis always had drinks ready quickly. All of the staff are always hustling and super pleasant. The grounds are perfect! Rooms were comfy and staff there were awesome too. Restaurants were great, we were fortunate enough to experience the hibachi restaurant and it was really fun! Great food too obviously.

Wonderful Stay – Perfect for Our Multigenerational Group!
We had a wonderful time at Dreams Playa Mujeres, and the resort was a great fit for our multigenerational group of 7 (grandparents, parent and 4 boys ranging from 6-14) . The Family Suite Preferred Club with an ocean view was perfect for us—two bedrooms (pull-out sofas too), two mini-bars a spacious living room area for the teens, two whirlpool baths, and expansive balconies where we could all relax. The Preferred Club perks were definitely worth it, especially the Bali Bed. It became Hub Central for our days by the pool, and we can’t say enough about Pool concierge Roxana and pool attendant Omer ( a master of towel art), who took great care of us there. Poolside server Johan was also amazing, keeping everyone happy with drinks, snacks, and great service. A big thank-you to Onell Ramos, who steered us toward some of the best meals on the property. We especially loved Hibachi, Gaucho, and Maris. The Core Zone staff, Jasmine and Roberto, were great at keeping the teens entertained and happy. Archery was a highlight and the basketball courts were a popular evening activity. We didn't use the Explorer Club as our little ones enjoyed the oceanview pool so much. The resort itself was just the right size, with plenty to do but never feeling overwhelming. The water slides and waterpark were a big hit with the kids. We didn’t try the lazy river because the slides were so much fun. A private transfer with Amstar made getting to the resort quick and easy as we arrived in the evening . Overall, the staff, facilities, and thoughtful details made for a memorable and relaxing trip. The send off home was especially unforgettable. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Find a different resort to go to!
Customer service was terrible at check in. Many of us were given queen size beds when requesting kings, others were given king size beds when needing queen. Staff refused to accommodate unless we paid more to upgrade. Pools were closed randomly. No shots available, had to be served on ice. Entertainment was almost obsolete. Bars and clubs shut down earlier than advertised. Would not recommend!

Great experience
The staff made the experience 100%. Roxana, Ornell (in guest services and F&B) were accommodating and extremely helpful. Omar (managed pool side Bali beds) was extremely friendly and Korina (poolside service) was extremely attentive.
