Apr 29, 2025Don’t eat the ice. Don’t drink the water 🤮
I traveled to Dreams Playa Bonita 4/24-4/29. > 50% of our large party became seriously ill with GI issues. This was reported to the hotel staff with no follow up. The staff were friendly and mostly accommodating but I would not make a return trip.

Very relaxed and lovely employees that are very helpful! Food is mediocre- but I have high standards. Rooms and pools could use a deep clean and some updating. The spa was nice- massage was great!! There were power outages every day- not for very long extended periods of time- but just enough to notice. I was here with a group of 30 plus women and it was just the right size resort for us. Would recommend.

Great resort size: intimate but plenty to offer. Food was good, service was very good, rooms were very nice. Downside are the bugs but that’s Panamá, not the resort’s fault. Other downside was the room service. Oft times the phone would ring for minutes.

Amazing stay!
Amazing expertise. The place is nicer than pictures — the staff are lovely. It’s nice that everyone knew our names and we didn’t need wrist bands or reservations. Zanchez at the lobby bar was our favorite. He makes the best espresso martinis. We got a great value for the money here and really enjoyed our stay. We’ll be back.

Anniversary trip to Panama
We had an amazing time from the moment we arrived. Greeted with champagne and hospitality. Malaisia at the front desk made sure we knew about all the excursions etc. She really looked out for us. Every pool day and night we had a blast with Eliscio and crew. Zancheliano the bartender in the lobby area always made sure we had drinks in hand. Will definitely return.
