Disappointed
The complex is beautiful and the workers are great. However for the money we spent it was some what disappointed. Let me start with the beach, what beach? I only saw very few people in it. You walked through the complex and there signs that will remind what areas you can not use. Actually when I checked in they made it clear I won’t be allowed to use the Only member / Preferred member only pool. It happens to be the best pool of the complex. The main buffet was disappointing. Let me just clarify that I been to several resorts in DR so I might sound a bit more critical but honestly I wouldn’t go back. The Hibachi restaurant was very good and again I’ll repeat the workers provided great customer service. The thing that bother me the most was the atmosphere. There is pretty much no fun vibes. 10 pm on a Saturday and it was pretty much quiet. I think if you are looking to sleep and use the pool then you won’t mind. The room was very clean and nice. Entertainment in the common areas like pool was very weak. The water park was disappointed , maybe because there are way better ones in some of the other resorts. But my teen for the first time didn’t want to stay long in the water park. And this is another thing the pool for the non preferred closes at 6pm lol. That for me sucked! My daughter was disappointed. I must admit the tacos from the taco truck was amazing and the young guy serving you was great! if you skip breakfast need to wait till 12 to eat. In a summary customer service great, food in buffet was a let down, not much to eat around 11pm with exception of a burger place. Even though you allow to go to their sister resort which I hear is better , but if you with teens or children you can’t go as it’s adult only. Overall I found it kind of quiet resort not worth the money .

Amazing experience!
Had amazing time! The room and entire resort were very clean and maintained. The restaurants and bars were great. The staff were so friendly, attentive, and fun! Will definitely be going back!!!

Loved it.
Loved this resort, our experience overall was very positive. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, shoutout to our favorite wait person Hamlet. The entertainment staff and events were really great as well, from pain and sip to bingo to fitness in the pool and zumba, they were very fun and entertaining. If you are traveling with kids, this place provides plenty of options for even teenagers to have things to do and parents be able to relax. The core zone for only teens has things for older kids, and the arcade room has bowling for the whole family to play together. The different pool areas also provided plenty of choices for where to spend time as a family or if the kids wanted to enjoy the water slides, they could also do that. Highly recommend. Would definitely return.

“Bad” dreams experience.
Beautiful hotel, however immediately after check in you are greeted by sales representatives, offering you monetary vouchers if you sit through a 90 minute vacation club sales meeting. Room had leaks, front desk manager Alexis Mortilla was rude and not accommodating whatsoever. Wasn’t able to get a bed for my 13 year old son, he slept on an uncomfortable sofa bed, but yet Alexis hounded us to pay extra for an amenity I didn’t receive. On our last day, we had money missing from our safe. After investigating they found nothing, and failed to mention anything about the camera footage, I had to remind them that cameras are all over the hallway, unbelievable. I am continuing the investigation, and have reached out to corporate to file my complaints. I won’t be back there!

Very good but several points let the place down
In general, I believe this was a 7/10 holiday destination for me and my family. A lot of positives but also a lot of issues/experiences in which for me personally do affect the overall holiday. Others may not be so easily annoyed or frustrated but were all different. - ill keep it as simple as possible PROS (preferred guests) - Access to preferred restaurant & lounges for breakfast and lunch that has a great al la carte menu and is better service then the general seating area within the Buffet (carnival) - Good selection of alcoholic beverages - Nice views and landscaping - Great waterpark - Good daytime entertainment by the main pool - Lots on site to do without getting bored for all ages - Some staff members go the extra mile to be welcoming and friendly including our butler - Josue Cons - Not all staff members are welcoming and friendly (some are pretty rude) - The fitness centre is shared with another resort and is already quite small therefore during peak times, its almost impossible to get on any equipment - Some of the staff will treat you depending on your tipping, I know this is pretty common but it shouldn't be happening especially when you've paid so money to be at an all inclusive - Sun loungers are reserved way before the time they're allowed to be however this is not policed - I spotted some workers putting them down for guests (tips included of course!) - Like most places in these areas, for the first week of our vacation, There was a huge work convention meaning the pools, restaurants and general areas were packed with workers - this can be pretty frustrating as there's generally 100s when your trying to get your food and enjoy your lunch or breakfast whilst on holiday. - If you have a room around the main pool, it can be very busy and loud up until around 10/11pm despite being a family resort - Guests smoked cigarettes and cigars in and around the main pool area, This is really not fair and horrible considering I had a 4 year old child trying to have fun around this horrible smell
