Check-in and check-out was very smooth. Our rooms were ready, My son and sister were upgraded to swim ups which was wonderful as they each have children. We had booked our own prior to arrival. We received our preferred status as did my family so it was wonder to have this feature. Rooms-the rooms were nice, but a bit dated. All rooms similar, everyone was fine with their rooms. Service-We had a bulter -Albert. Alberts was excellent, he was professional and attentive. He would meet up each night at the restaurant so we all could be seated together and not have to wait an extended period. We got pool and beach side service. It was nice to have swim up service and it was great. This resort is geared to families, they love children and expecially babies. Everyone is great to include the kids. Food-overall it was fine. We enjoyed the Bluewater Grill-great salmon and beef dishes. The French restaurant was good, food a bit cool when it arrived. The Italian was good, great food selections. The buffet had great selections for breakfast and lunch, dinner not so much.

Enjoyed a weekend birthday celebration
I traveled with my two daughters, 26 and 23 and stayed in a preferred club jr suite swim out. The room was beautiful and very well maintained. Pros of this resort: Adults only preferred pool- we spent all of our time here! Bartenders were very receptive and friendly. Big area that does not require you to secure a chair by 7 am! Alejandro always has a smile and drink ready at the bar! Lots of activities- main pool, water park, lazy river. Fitness center is very large with plenty of equipment. There is a cardio room, a weight room and a stretching room. There is limited group fitness available in the morning. Beach is beautiful! When we were there, the water was clear and calm- it is calmer in front of Breathless, but if you like waves, there were plenty in front of the Dreams property Staff is very welcoming and receptive to needs/requests. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and we received a welcome birthday banner, a cake, decorated room with flowers and balloons and another special birthday cake and staff singing happy birthday at hibachi. Shout out to our Concierge, Henry! Cons of this resort: I found the food to be underwhelming. I thought it was a little bit lower than other Dreams resorts that we have been to. Was it edible? Absolutely, and no one had any issues with being sick. The best meal was at Bluewater grill- the Skirt Steak. Least satisfying meal was at Coquette on Breathless side Lots of weddings- we didn't have access to anything disrupted but there were a lot of very big groups of people who were, at times, a little over the top All in all, we had a great time, beautiful weather, welcoming staff and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Our family of 5 attended Dreams from Dec2nd to today - we just got home & couldn't wait to express our gratitude to the resort & staff. Lots to do for the children and adults. Special shout out to The Mix Legends Tony & Miguel at the waterpark bar. They worked very hard, always had a smile on and were very attentive! Can't recommend enough! The Bell Peppers

High quality service and unlimited amenities!
Incredible service and beautiful accommodations. This resort is MASSIVE and you will never run out of things to do. However, be careful who you give your bag to when loading it on the bus! Mine got left behind when leaving, and had to pay a Taxi to drive it to the airport. Thankfully I didn't miss my flight.

Love Dreams Onyx
We traveled here with a group of 80 people for a destination wedding. We loved the resort. At first it appeared to be very large and overwhelming but we quickly learned how to get around. (They do have a shuttle to move people around too). I really liked that there were so many specialty restaurants and that we were not restricted to only a few throughout our stay. The beach is beautiful and we went for daily walks along the beachfront. There are many pools and we mainly hung out at the adult only pool. For those who have children, they have a family pool area, a lazy river and water slides. The entertainment was excellent. Wasn't crazy about karaoke night but I'm sure others enjoyed it. The food was good. I particularly liked the Beef Tournedos and Confit Duck at Mercure (French Restaurant) and the Moussaka and Beef Ossobuco at Cin Cin (Mediterranean Restaurant). Several of us had gastro issues so make sure to bring Pepto Bismol, etc. All in all, loved this resort.
