I am here now with a family of 10. Overall, it has been a good resort for families however the restaurant reservation system or lack of has been disappointing. I understand it’s difficult to accommodate a group of ten and we are ok to be split up. We arrive at restaurant before they open as suggested as we have children and don’t mind going early. We were able to get seated at 530 at the BlueWater Grill however we’re not served our meal until 745! I expressed my disappointment to the Manager and was dismissed as well as the Concierge and was told to write my complaint down which was filed with no follow up or any desire to ensure I am having a positive experience at their resort. I tried again at the Italian restaurant. Again we were there when doors opened and were told it’d be an hour-so we’ve only been able to eat at the buffet. Not being able to enjoy the restaurant experience is very disappointing as this is a once in a lifetime family experience for us. More disappointing is the dismissive response I have received when I raised my concerns. I would expect better from a Hyatt Resort.

I found the Dreams Onyx Resort to be wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. They catered to any request we had. The resort was lovely. Beach and pools were amazing. No complaints. Truly a wonderful relaxing experience.

Excellent holiday, would love to return!
Superb mum and daughter week away - room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. Choice of restaurants and premium drinks superb - and we weren't preferred club - just go along for all bar one restaurant to ask for a table then grab a drink till it's ready. We ate in different restaurant every night and quality was superb. Buffet breakfast was fab and whilst we only had two lunches the choice was best ever, we liked taco van during day and Coco coffee bar for snacks. Literally didn't leave complex but did 10k steps each day exploring next door and used gym a couple of times. Would love to return here, easy 40 min transfer from airport and everything you need onsite - a superb choice with best food and drink I've known in all inclusive hotels.

Great week at an amazing resort
This is a great family friendly resort, clean facilities amazing service. Loved the entertainement team, Shadow, Honey , Alfredo, Denise were always joyful they remembered our names throughout the week. The bartenders are always smiling and fast and they serve tasty alcoholic and non alcoholic options. Also, the food is tasty, buffet has a lot of choice and is very clean. They take serious action on cleanliness here. The water park is amazing, filled with greens/large trees for shade. We saw 3 shows, which were all very good, creative and entertaining. We had a little problem with a room, Angel at the check in worked fast to find us great alternative. Beach: lots of waves, lots of loungers. We had an amazing week and would surely come back

Amazing staff, wonderful location, amenities and rooms!
- AdvisoryStudent Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at Hotel. A student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room.
