Overall great experience! Great service, food and views! Everyone was friendly and helpful. All staff would make effort to speak to you and smile. Very clean and well organized. Multiple restaurants to choose from and the room service for meals was awesome!! I will definitely visit again!

Perfect Wedding at Dreams
We had our wedding at Dreams Onyx and it was the best experience ever. The hotel is absolutely amazing, the staff was great and a bonus for adults you get access to Breathless next door. We could have not imagined a more perfect wedding. The pool, beach and spa were amazing.

May 02, 2025Great customer service, smelly and hot rooms
We stayed here from April 27-May 1. The food was absolutely incredible, the workers at hibachi were amazing. The drinks were yummy, most bartenders were great (especially Carlos) and we had a phenomenal customer experience with Geebran at the front; had it not been for him we would have no had transportation, he went above and beyond! I was a little disappointed on dreams or breathless they didn’t have much music playing in 3pm. It was very boring during the day. What completely ruined things for us is the fact that we paid $150 to upgrade our room and it smelt awful. We had to plug our noses while we showered and used the toilet. We had incense running all the time and it didn’t work because it smelt bad. We also had someone come out multiple times to lower the AC and it never worked. They lock the AC and make it very hot.

Fire
The amazing service all around would make me come back in the future. I highly recommend it to others. Staff were friendly and always happy! Everyone was always working hard and everything was super clean. It was a great first experience in DR and a resort.

If you go to this resort, pray that you get Yessica as a waitress, Angel by the preferred pool and Nelis from the preferred pool bar. They made our experience so much better. The pool is beautiful and we had fun at the lazy river. With that being said we will probably not return and won't recommend this resort due to the actions (or inactions) of other staff.
- AdvisoryStudent Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at Hotel. A student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room. This could refer to but not limited to high school students or college students booking multiple rooms. The hotel reserves the right to deny lodging to any reservations of this type.
