    The best time

We are just home from the most fabulous experience at Dreams Onyx. From time of check in with Mary. The resort was spotless. The staff were the best so nice and so funny. Food choice was incredible at breakfast and the choice of restaurants for dinner were great and food was high quality. Ice cream shop and tacos van.... The room were very spacious and our two teenagers loved ordering room service....the lazy river kept us all cool. Special shout out to our Butler Juan. He checked in on us daily and did whatever he could to make us feel comfortable. Our only problem is Where do we go now...would be hard to beat. Thank you Dreams Onyx

    Amazing Staff!

The rooms are large and comfortable and the resort is clean and beautifully maintained. The food at the breakfast buffet was amazing and the specialty restaurants offered a nice variety. There are lots of fun activities for the whole family. The best part of this resort is the staff. The staff is attentive and friendly and funny and exceeded all our expectations. The staff truly took our stay over the top.

    Take the trip!

We had a wonderful experience staying at this resort. So much so that we bought into the Vacation Club to visit more Dreams resorts in the future!

    Not worth what we paid.

It wasn’t great. Here is my review to hotel. I had to copy and paste. C too much to write again. Room: bedsheets should have been changed daily. I had stains in mine because of makeup and had to leave a not to please change it and I left tip every single day and even like that wasn’t changed. Hotel: we were preferred and felt like regular. We paid 900$ more and my kids couldn’t use the preferred adults only pool. They need to have the adults only but in family version and then adults only as well. The family preferred pool was small and people didn’t want kids there bc they said it was peaceful. Aside from the fact that the view was disgusting like if I was. Next to a motel with those ugly outside orange buildings. Disgusting! I have pictures to prove it. Main pool: it was the worst experience the first two days. We couldn’t find lounge chairs at all because so many people and such a small seating area. The only reason we ended up having a good time was thanks to the staff like Elias our concierge, Rían from entertainment, Angel that helped us get chairs every morning, Vladimir the bartender, and some other helpful staff members. Without them, the hotel would have been the worst experience. So thank them for helping your guests bc whoever owns this hotel needs a lot of improvement. Making easy money when we get nothing we paid for. Pool area should have a grill area with easy food access, not that truck that’s only There for 2 hours. Lobby: entertainment tried, but lobby was old and looked like a dudgeon. Hotel looks like it’s going to collapse (hopefully never does). Slide and lazy river pool: omg horrible. First of all looks like a community pool in Brooklyn, NY! Looks dirty, too many palm trees, looks infected, walls look like they have mold and rust. Nasty!!!!! Preferred adults only: beautiful. Only nice area, but we paid for our kids to be preferred and they weren’t allowed so we couldn’t enjoy. Beach: I underhand this is out of your control. But you should have sent a warming to travelers. The most nastiest beach and that smell!!!!! Horrible!!!! Better beaches in Long Island. NY. Damn shame. Restaurants: food amazing like all food but horrible with the wait. Steak house the worst to get into. Spice was only one with reservations. All should be with reservations. No reservations makes it so guetto.

Not a vacation that I wanted to experience

Overall experience with a Hotel and choosing the preferred club didn’t meet to my standards of what to expect when choosing VIP service or getting VIP treatment, The hotel is dated and rooms. Need a lot of maintenance with furniture appliances having things not working old patio furniture Jacuzzi dirty. The only thing I can vouch for is the friendly staff for the entertainment and the food was excellent overall experience with the food. rooms are averagely small even if you choose preferred.
