We had an incredible experience at Dreams Onyx. Elias, our butler, was truly outstanding. I can't say enough good things about him! As a seasoned traveler, I keep returning to Dreams Onyx, and this was my fourth visit. The staff consistently go above and beyond, and I highly recommend this resort. I plan to return again soon. The most amazing girls trip ever!!

Fabulous Escape
Albert and the dream Onyx team made for a wonderful vacation. The island and hotel where a nice escape from from the cold of upstate New York.

Feb 07, 2026Staff saving Sun Beds spoils our Holiday
Dreams Hotels have been our favourite chain But we have just come home after a 3 week break. The Hotel is well kept and staff very friendly and welcoming, but the Perferred Club pool spoilt the holiday for us. Firstly the staff control the sun beds they tsave the best places by putting towels and empty sun lotion bottles on them, we are by the pool every morning by 8am 2 or 3 other guests there that’s all,and about 30 sun beds booked by the staff around 11am guess start arriving the staff show them their sun beds and remove the empty sun lotion bottles and get their tips then take the empty sun lotion bottles back to the towel station ready for the next day. This is so wrong we paid £10,000 for the 3 weeks it’s should be first come to the pool get the sun beds. There is a sign of pool rules stating NO SAVING OF SUN BEDS .The Preferred pool is good, but the bar is very noisy with large groups shouting the bar staff encourage drinking games somebody pooed in the pool one day and the pool was closed all day it’s not a relaxing place. The Hotel management know what’s going on but they aren’t bothered. This Hotel is not for older people it’s more 18 / 30 type and young families.

LOVE Dreams Onyx!!
We have been to Dreams Onyx many times. The resort is beautiful and we'll maintained. We continue to travel to Dreams Onyx 1-2 times a year because the staff are absolutely amazing! Juan, our butler, is always making sure everything is good. He takes "going the extra mile" to whole new level! Ismael, Carlos, Alejandro, Nelis and Angel at the preferred adults only pool always make sure you have what you need and they are some of the nicest people I have met! Just left and I already can't wait to go back!

Great family vacation
Food was great, staff was wonderful! Weather wasn’t but beyond control! Angel was our Butler and was amazing! We would recommend him to anyone going! His English is very good and he truly wants the best experience for you! He is easy to reach but will also leave alone to enjoy vacation!
