We had a fantastic family trip with our teens. The two main pools are great, though we didn't spend too much time at the splash park, the pool volleyball in the main pool was the highlight for our kids (and many other kids also travelling). We spent sometime at the preferred family pool, the construction and size of the pool left a bit to be desired, and the blender at the bar was broken so we didn't stay long at that pool. If you'd like a spot in the shade at the main pool, be prepared to wake-up by 7:30am as many chairs are taken very early and there doesn't seem to be a 1 hour rule at this resort for holding chairs. We found the food choices to be fantastic, the buffet was a big hit with the kids and my wife and I loved the Italian restaurant. The cook at the crepe station every day was extremely friendly and the crepes were a daily favourite. Franklin the waiter was one of the best we've had at both the preferred breakfast restaurant as well as The Blue Water Grill. We had a successful fishing charter and the butler Francisco was very accommodating in organizing our Mahi-mahi to be cooked at the Blue Water Grill. The chef went out of his way to prepare the fish in multiple ways and make it an absolute delight to eat. It was our first time having a butler and Francisco was able fulfill all requests we had for him. From the Hibachi reservations, organizing the fish cook and organizing our checkout and departure from the resort. He made everything painless. Karina was our UVC member representative and was accommodating and super friendly. We were thrilled that she was able to get us adjoining rooms for our kids on our second night at the resort. We will definitely be coming back!

Staff members in restaurant and bar did not behave professionally and very selective to provide good service to white people only. People from Asia or Asian origin were neglected several times to get better services. Overall we did not had good experice staying at Dreams Onyx.

Beautiful all inclusive
Beautiful all inclusive resort. We did preferred ocean view and it was fabulous. Room 5390 looked out over the adults only pool and out onto the ocean. Out butler Fransisco was great -he was available in Wats App and checked in all the time. Food is ok- we ate at the steak place and Italian restaurant and the Faire. Breakfast buffet is huge!

An amazing first experience with an All Inclusive!!
The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. I also loved having access to Breathless. We got the best of both worlds, I loved having the swim up pool and having instant service. Where ever we were there was someone asking if we needed anything. The best service was when someone would knock on our door and supply us with whatever we asked. I felt spoiled.

Loved our stay at Dreams Oynx
Hotel was amazing. Plenty to keep us entertained for two weeks. The entertainment staff made our kids feel so welcome so a massive shout to the team there Food options were all really good with a decent range and choice in most restaurants Beach was great with the waves keeping us all busy for hours Make sure you check out the snorkelling over to the left below Breathless we saw loads of different fish down there
