Dreaming of returning home ASAP
Don't get preferred. Nobody knows what it is. Be prepared for lots of kids. (Totally fine, but if that's not your thing and you think you will end up in an adults-only area, you're only fooling yourself.) Bring your own food because the food at this resort is terrible. It trips over the very low bar set by Carnival cruises, and every restaurant, buffet, and room service experience could best be described as "meh" and at worst, "perilous." I got sand in my mouth at the beach, and it had more flavor than the chicken quesadilla. Someone make it make sense. Actually, someone just make something edible. Full skip on Dreams Natura.

A good time, but not as good as last time
16 of us went. This was our second time here. We loved it the first time as we have younger kids and it's small enough to keep tabs on them without having to worry they are too far away from us at any given time. It was mostly fine, but the food has gone downhill in a mere year. The only good buffet stuff was at breakfast and even then it's just the omelette station...everything else was middling. Got whatever Norovirus had infected the Royalton Splash next door too about mid-trip...vomiting for 12 hours and that ruined at least another 2 days for me. We traced this back to the Grill by the pool...saw some uncooked burgers go out...but we think it was the quesadillas as there was just buckets of cubed chicken they were grabbing from....all it takes is one of them to be infected to go down, and the grill guy didn't leave them one on the grill enough to kill anything. Not his fault, but that illness everyone is talking about from Nextdoor was DEFINITELY present at Dreams too...so be wary. I would advise avoiding the poolside grill entirely actually. You're better off to hit up the buffet for lunch. The rooms are always clean and the staff are wonderful. No worries there. The hallways are quiet, and the layout is easy to navigate. The a la carte restaurants are fine, the Italian and the Japanese being the standouts. Shout out to Alfredo at the Italian place, brother you are hilarious and we loved seeing you again on this trip! The Mexican restaurant is (inexplicably) terrible. Not just because the kids would not eat anything there, but even as an adult we found the food there middling to bad. The menu needs revision. The French place was attended by some of our number, and they liked it as well. The cafe is lovely and always great service. Overall a fun stay, but we were just generally less impressed than we were the year previous. Would still recommend the place again for the size it's got lots to do, but you won't kill yourselves walking leagues to get to breakfast like other resorts. I'm not happy some of us got sick, but at the very least it sounds like we didn't get it as badly as the resort next door, so that is probably points in Dreams favour.

An absolute Dream of a resort!
The entire Dreams Natura Resort experience was amazing. This is our second time staying at a Dreams property and this was just as spectacular as the last. All the staff from the moment our transport pulled up to the hotel was more than exceptional. Everyone was extremely friendly and did everything they could to make our stay an unforgettable family getaway. The food was absolutely perfect, we have a few very young picky eaters and they were always able to find something at every meal that they loved. As for us adults, we couldn't stop saying how much we were amazed at the quality of the food considering the number of guests on the property. We will be sure to continue our exploration of all the dreams properties!

Would recommend and go again
We just returned from Natura and were extremely pleased with our choice. The entertainment team by the pool were amazing! The servers all over the resort were very friendly, helpful, seemed genuinely happy to work there. Last week (Feb 14-21) was extremely busy: very challenging to get chairs by the pool. There is a 30 minute time limit on being away from your chair, no reserving chairs policy, but no one is enforcing it. Too busy last week; dont know if it’s always like that though. . Soo many weddings, some taking up valuable poolside and pool space. Book your hospitality suite in advance for departure: limited availability. Restaurant reservations were tricky, but concierge was helpful and as things quieted toward the weekend, was much easier. It’s a beautiful resort, not too big, but big enough to have lots going on for all interests. Would definitely recommend and go again!
