    Fantastic Resort!

    What a beautiful resort! Our family had such a great time! Service, people, entertainment and overall experience was fantastic! Victor, Diamond, Johnny Bravo, Tairis, Baby Face, LeBron, William Lindura, Happinees were all so wonderful and made our stay more fun! In fact, the entire staff and entertainment was wonderful!

    a wonderful time

    Great experience, the only complaint was the check-in and OUT need more than one person checking in. The restaurants were good, but they needed a traditional Dominican restaurant. the entertainment was good; I would have also added Traditional Dominican Shows. Very clean and the Staff is awesome, Friendly, and fun. Overall, I would return without a doubt. ,

    Dreams

    The resort is pretty and comfortable. The pools and activities are great . The entertainment personnel goes above and beyond to accomplish their mission (Victor, Johnny, Tahiris, Baby face, Diamond , Diana, William, Kenny, Zoe, LeBron, Dora, Summer, Happiness) Great food and ambiance. Highly recommend this resort.

    Fun times

    Had a nice time at this resort. It was very large so if you have a room near the lobby, it does take a while to get to the pools/beach. My family made some great memories. The food was average and restaurants were very crowded. Could’ve been the time of the year.

    Relaxing Luxury with a Few Surprises – Dreams Macao Punta Cana

    We stayed in a Preferred Club swim-out room and absolutely loved the peaceful luxury it offered. Being able to step right into the pool from our room each morning without distractions was a dream come true. The room was clean, well-stocked with bottled water, and overall very comfortable. The bartenders were phenomenal—friendly, fun, and truly made our experience memorable. Some of them felt like friends by the time we left! The drinks were strong and flavorful (unless they sat too long and the ice melted a bit), and the Preferred Club pool was a perfect adults-only escape from the more family-oriented areas. Food and service were top-notch. We especially loved the Cocoa Café—open 24 hours and serving the most delicious caramel frappes that became my daily ritual. We had great meals at Oceana for breakfast and Asado for dinner, although some advertised activities didn’t happen as listed. What We Loved: Swim-out room in the Preferred Club—private and serene. Friendly, attentive bartenders and staff. Adults-only pool access. Cocoa Café’s 24-hour service and amazing frappes. Cleanliness and consistent water supply in the room. Things to Be Aware Of: Our refrigerator was unplugged the entire stay, and we only realized it on the last day. The shower temperature fluctuated at certain times. Uber access is restricted—you must walk to the front gate to meet your driver. We were misinformed by the concierge and ended up paying double for a taxi. The Grill and Steakhouse was underwhelming—slow service and tough steak. The mashed potatoes lacked richness. We expected more authentic Dominican cuisine throughout the resort. Photo pricing was disappointing—only digital copies, and the tiered pricing was steep. We were quoted over $1,400 for 94 pictures, which felt excessive. Final Thoughts: Despite a few hiccups, our stay at Dreams Macao Punta Cana was relaxing, luxurious, and filled with great memories. The staff truly made the experience special, and we’d absolutely return—just with a few lessons learned for next time!
