    Construction Intrusion - Beware!!

    Overall, I found the resort to be clean, the people friendly and the food was very good with the exception of the Mexican restaurant. The tacos I ordered were found wanting and there is no real sour cream available. My biggest issue was the fact that our swim out faced a construction site. The noise from the jackhammers was incredible. The rooms most affected are in the buildings named block one. STAY AWAY from this block of rooms!!! We paid top dollar for the swim out for privacy and peace and quiet. We got none of that except for the weekend and after 5 PM. At the very least, these rooms should be heavily discounted for the noise and dust that came across to our area. We were told that an adult only dreams resort is being constructed. At the rate they build, it will take at least another year to complete. When we complained about this our butler did the best he could and we got comped a free dinner in “The Cellar” room, a $350USD value which in my estimation did not come close to satisfying our inconvenience.

    Dreams macao

    Resort was nice. Smaller than the other resorts we have stayed at but very nice. Rooms where very nice and clean. We had a butler named Domingo. He was the best. He was only a text away and very responsive. Any kind of issue we had or questions. He was on top of it. If we needed to see him, he came to us. I highly recommend Domingo. If you ever want or need something done. Request him if possible if youre planning on a trip.to Dreams Macao

    Dreams Macao was so much better than I expected. I have been to many all inclusive resorts. This one rates in my top one or two.

    The perfect honeymoon!

    We had the best honeymoon at Dreams Macao Beach. Our room was lovely, the food was great & so were the staff. We were not preferred guests and we felt like we didn’t need the upgrade. Breakfast buffet had lots of variety or you could get something from Coco’s. Lunch there were plenty of options with the buffet, the barefoot grill and our favourite being the taco truck!! Dinner again lots to choose from, our favourite was the Asian & highly recommended the hibachi table! During the days we spent every day round the main pool. The entertainment team were fantastic with lots going on. Culinary events most days round the pool which gave another option for lunch! But biggest shoutout the Juana at the main pool.. she made our holiday! So lovely & always making sure we had a drink, she really looked after us and made our honeymoon just perfect! Also huge shoutout to Narquin at the Baracudda bar.. best frozen daiquiris around!! Check in & check out really smooth and didn’t take long at all. We didn’t catch many evening shows as we were too tired from being up early in the gym & the sun! But we did hear good things about those. Fitness centre was good, you get given a towel on entry and there is access to more water bottles, fruit and Gatorade! A lot of reviews can put people off about food/sickness etc but neither of us were unwell this trip & neither of us had a bad meal so don’t let this put you off! My only grumble of the entire 2 weeks is the music from weddings can be rather loud but we just put a movie on in bed each night and this done the job!

    Can't wait to return here! 10/10!

    Honestly- this is the best resort I ever visited because the staff is over the top accommodating and friendly. The facilities are pristine and well-kept. The bathrooms were very clean all through out the resorts. I never saw garbage over flow. The room cleaning service is a 10/10. I personally loved the turn down service because we used a lot of towels throughout the day and having someone to come in and take your towels, replace with new ones, tidy up and make your bed was the best after a night out. I will definitely be returning here. I travel a lot and stayed in gorgeous resorts in St. Martin but this resort you can't compare! It was too notch! Thank you! Also- they went all out for the super bowl! The food was amazing and I felt really lucky to have that experience there. Fireworks and everything!
