  Amazing hotel and experience

  Amazing hotel, well worth the higher price point. Staff around the resort cannot do enough for you. Check in and check out seamless. Rooms were large and extremely clean. Hotel as an app for anything you need refilled/restocked, report any issues, view restaurant menus or activities (plus more). Response time was relatively fast. Loved that we didn’t have to wear wrist bands nor have towel cards - take and replace as you wanted. Much better than other hotels and this gave it a more premium feel. Range of activities for children of all ages, teenagers and adults was great. Entertainment and Explorers club teams were extremely engaging and knew all of our names. They even played with our children when we wanted some timeout! Really friendly entertainment team especially Victor, Tauris, Summer and Jonny Bravo. The team really make your stay an amaxing experience. Explorers club looked after our children and were great - Moana, Cuteness, Rainbow, Queen, Candy, Happiness and Diana. Evening entertainment was excellent especially fire show and circus shows. Both children and adults could enjoy them. Hotel is in a secluded location on Macao beach. We didn’t mind this as we planned to have most of our stay in the resort given we were all inclusive. The beach was lovely white sand, stunning. A bit of seaweed which is cleared up by workers every morning - so beach is very pleasant throughout the day. We went on a half private snorkelling trip in Punta Cana arranged by the hotel which was great for our children as they are new to snorkelling. For teenagers/adults there are better locations in the world to snorkel. Food was of a high standard throughout the resort. À la carte restaurants had a wide menu choice - this was really important to us being vegetarians. They were also able to make additional items for us. Every day, the hotel had a special culinary event by the main pool - I would encourage the hotel to have more vegetarian choices available. This was the part of our stay which lacked slightly. But not too much of an issue as other restaurants and buffets had catered for vegetarians. Bar tenders were friendly and wait for drinks was never long. Both local and premium brands offered as part of the all inclusive package. We had a butler, Miguel, throughout our stay. This was an added extra (as part of premium package) and would recommend this as he was able to make our dinner reservations, help reduce the snorkelling trip price as well as answer any questions for us. He was also able to get us coconuts as we had missed out earlier in the day! He’d find us every day, check in and ensure we had everything we needed.

  Dream Macao: Bad Experience. Hyatt ruined Dreams.

  This was our first trip with our daughter. My wife wanted to go to Dreams, because in 2021 we went to a Dreams resort, Pre Hyatt, in Costa Rica and it was unbelievable experience. We arrived 10PM on Dec 7th, the process was okay as the front desk person was out of it as it was late plus a bit of language barrier. Got the Junior Suite with "Ocean" view. The AC was set to 22 but it was freezing, put it up to 24.5° C but it felt like I was sleeping in a freezer. At around 6AM, got woken up thinking someone was firing a machine gun. Kept happening few more times and of course interrupted our sleep Called front desk to ask what was qoing on and thev replied that it was construction and they cant do anything about it. But room was on the side where there was no construction happening offsite. Got gas lit there Front desk sent someone after I called them the 2nd time to check the AC and the noise. They said they fixed it We came back to the room to put down our toddler for a nap around 2pm and the sound happens again. Realized it was the water pipesthat was making the noise every time the upstairs room would turn on their sink. Ran to the front desk and spoke to them in person They told me they are taking this seriously and would get me a new room if the issue was not fixed. I told them I wont be in the room as I am going to the beach. They asked me for my WhatsApp number so they can contact me to notify me, what they found and if we were going to move to a new room...Nobody contacted me. Dec 9th, we wake up to the same noise, while freezing in our room. Got ready and had breakfast. Went to the front desk, they were sick of seeing me and told me to complain to the Manager. And they also told me they had a room ready for me on the 8th, I told them nobody even called me or notified us about it We eventually got moved to the Preferred Member rooms and it had a partial Ocean View. However the AC in this room was still not working properly. I asked people in the block of rooms we stayed if they had similar experience and some mentioned, they experienced the same noise from the pipe We paid Thousands just to go there and get inconvenienced during our vacation. Food Wise: World Cafe: Open to everyone, it was typical Buffet food. 5/10 The Preferred Members menu was way better as we had access to restaurants that others did not. Basically after Hyatt took over, they decided ta differentiate the menu so if you didnt pay extra you got crappy food. Vendors: Never went to a resort that allowed vendors to harass their visitors on their resort premises. I understand on the beach but not while I am going to the restaurant with my family and being so aggressive about it. Conclusion: Wouldn't recommend, especially that I had take 2 days of my limited vacation days to get room situation fixed PS: The shower in both rooms had water leaking into the room, which was not fun to deal with

  Beautiful and fun destination spot!

  We absolutely loved our stay at this resort - beautiful beach, lovely staff, clean facilities, and fantastic drinks. The resort is located not too far from the resort, which is nice after a long travel day. It has a massive, spacious beach with so many seats so it’s never hard to find a spot. We had so much fun boogie boarding in the massive waves!!!

  Amazing resort. Definitely going back in 2026. The service was amazing. Food and drinks were good. Beach was beautiful

  Amazing experience

  My wife and I spent a week at this beautiful resort. The beach is beautiful and clean. The staff at the resort is wonderful - our favorite bartenders were Sindy and Jorge at the lobby bar. The food at all the restaurants if delicious. Our two favorite restaurants were the El Patio (Mexican) and Oceana (seafood). Our waitress Mireyes at Oceana was the best. There is a lot to do at the resort with numerous pools and lots of activities run by the entertainment staff. The fire show on the beach was awesome. I especially enjoyed yoga every morning, led by the visiting instructor Kim Morgan from Fitness Vacation Exchange. We’ve been to many all inclusive resorts and this is now one of our favorites. We’ll be back.
