A highly recommended resort , perfect price and experiences
one of the best resorts in Punta cana perfect for family clean beach, above avg quality of food all around, tons of kids entertainment, pools water park, clean spacious rooms and kids club where kids and teens can stay entertained all day long. the evening shows are fun, but the presentation can be improved if they use slightly more modern props that being said it was fun every night

Amazing holiday
An amazing place, thoroughly recommend it. Food- excellent variety in the buffet and the all included à la carte restaurants. They were very accommodating of our vegetarian diet. No need to make early reservations, you just go on the day and there was always space. Preferred room - comes with a butler. Our butler Miguel was amazing, checked in with us daily and couldn’t do more for us. Very friendly and helpful. The entertainment team - run by Johnny Bravo and Tairis. The whole team including Victor, Babyface, Diamond are all so great with organising activities, getting the kids involved and making it a super fun holiday. The evening shows are very good especially the fire show on the beach and the circus show. Rainbow, Moana and Queen from kids club were great with the kids. Beach - very clean, beautiful sand Pools- lots, always enough sun beds Overall resort - very clean, friendly and helpful staff.

Annual Family Vacation
A great resort that we really enjoyed. We will be back! We would definitely stay in a different type of suite because the junior suite is small.

Unfortunate GI issues at an otherwise scenic resort.
We went as a family of 8 in mid December 2025. All adults. We chose this resort as it is part of UVC and it looked like it had a nice beach and offered the ability to learn how to surf. Both the beach and surfing were great. Wave were in the 3’ to 5’ range most days. Good for surfing, but not ideal for swimming. The biggest disappointment we experienced was 4 out of the 8 of us got sick for several days with sharp pains in the abdomen and diarrhea. This occurred at different times for each of us so it was difficult to determine where it was coming from. We had read on Facebook groups that others had experienced illnesses at the resort but it was difficult to determine how frequent it was. We took extra care to avoid illnesses, but were unsuccessful in avoiding them. We all filled out forms at the resort to make them aware. I hope that others do the same. The resort has a nice layout and is fairly easy to get anywhere you want. The lazy river, water slides, tennis court, pickleball court and zip line were all on the backside of the main resort and required a bit more walking. All the restaurants, bars and beach were very easy to access. The gym had a half dozen treadmills, a few bikes and a limited amount of weights and weight machines. In total, the gym was undersized for this resort. They had enough restaurants (same as other Dreams and Secrets), but I would say the food was on the low to average end for these resorts. We had our best meals at Bordeaux and El Patio. We had to pay extra for wine a few nights as the house wines were poor (and we are not wine critics). Bad house wines seems to be common amongst these all inclusive resorts. You can get almost anything you want for mixed drinks, but beer and house wines are subpar. Rooms: They are building a Secrets resort next door so rooms that face that direction are exposed to construction noise. We knew this and reserved pool view rooms. UVC did not get our reservation correct so it took a couple hours to get that straightened out upon arrival. This is basic stuff and should have not gone that poorly. We had a great “butler” on our trip (Dargeny). He was a highlight of the trip. He was very responsive and did his best to make our vacation as pleasant as possible.

Amazing hotel and experience
Amazing hotel, well worth the higher price point. Staff around the resort cannot do enough for you. Check in and check out seamless. Rooms were large and extremely clean. Hotel as an app for anything you need refilled/restocked, report any issues, view restaurant menus or activities (plus more). Response time was relatively fast. Loved that we didn’t have to wear wrist bands nor have towel cards - take and replace as you wanted. Much better than other hotels and this gave it a more premium feel. Range of activities for children of all ages, teenagers and adults was great. Entertainment and Explorers club teams were extremely engaging and knew all of our names. They even played with our children when we wanted some timeout! Really friendly entertainment team especially Victor, Tauris, Summer and Jonny Bravo. The team really make your stay an amaxing experience. Explorers club looked after our children and were great - Moana, Cuteness, Rainbow, Queen, Candy, Happiness and Diana. Evening entertainment was excellent especially fire show and circus shows. Both children and adults could enjoy them. Hotel is in a secluded location on Macao beach. We didn’t mind this as we planned to have most of our stay in the resort given we were all inclusive. The beach was lovely white sand, stunning. A bit of seaweed which is cleared up by workers every morning - so beach is very pleasant throughout the day. We went on a half private snorkelling trip in Punta Cana arranged by the hotel which was great for our children as they are new to snorkelling. For teenagers/adults there are better locations in the world to snorkel. Food was of a high standard throughout the resort. À la carte restaurants had a wide menu choice - this was really important to us being vegetarians. They were also able to make additional items for us. Every day, the hotel had a special culinary event by the main pool - I would encourage the hotel to have more vegetarian choices available. This was the part of our stay which lacked slightly. But not too much of an issue as other restaurants and buffets had catered for vegetarians. Bar tenders were friendly and wait for drinks was never long. Both local and premium brands offered as part of the all inclusive package. We had a butler, Miguel, throughout our stay. This was an added extra (as part of premium package) and would recommend this as he was able to make our dinner reservations, help reduce the snorkelling trip price as well as answer any questions for us. He was also able to get us coconuts as we had missed out earlier in the day! He’d find us every day, check in and ensure we had everything we needed.
