Great place for families with and without kids alike!
Overall excellent experience. Wife and I went for our honeymoon in January, knowing it was a family resort, but thinking lots of kids would be in school. We were wrong and there were a ton of kids, but it didn't bother us. That being said, if you definitely don't want to see/hear any kids, this isn't the place for you as it is very family friendly. You do not have to make reservations for the speciality restaurants which is very convenient for spur-of-the-moment dinner planning. Rooms were wonderful and they seem to come twice a day to give you new towels and etc. Overall the resort was very clean and although there were a lot of kids, like I said there was no issue with noise. As far as location, the beach is on the Atlantic so you have more waves than a beach on the Caribbean side of the island. Made for some really fun boogey boarding though, which is also included. It's also about a 35 min drive from the airport. Only constructive criticism I can come up with is that the service at the buffet, especially for breakfast, was not the best. Just about every time I ordered a mimosa, I had to ask twice, and many times they did not refill our water or coffee. Also, the bars seemed to be out of certain drinks, namely beer, somewhat often. These certainly did not take away from our experience and we would absolutely go again.

Great resort, wouldn't upgrade again though
We went to this resort on our first family vacation with our 18mo. We loved the resort. It was smaller but lots of things to do and keep her busy. We had a swim up room which we wanted for when she napped or went to bed but it was in the shade the entire time and freezing! So we didn't use it much. The food was great, the a la cartes so yummy! Our only downside was our butler wasn't helpful and entered our room several times when the do not disturb sign was on.... the room had a window for them to leave any requests for drinks etc but they would enter with your do not disturb sign on and leave it in the door. It was very strange and creeped us out. Who knows how many times someone was in our room when we weren't there...

Please help the strays
PLEASE HELP THE POOR STRAYS ON THE BEACH BY TAKING FLEA DROPS WITH YOU & PROVIDING THEM WITH FOOD./CLEAN WATER The resort has no social responsibility for the poor strays. The tourists have to help them. This is very sad as there are other hotel chains where we have stayed that actively employ organisations to come in periodically to take care of the strays on their properties. Please, if you visit, can you take clean water & food to the stray dogs. If you can go the extra mile please take flea drops to put them out of their discomfort. Flea drops cost a fraction of your total trip price and take no space in your case but make a world of difference to their quality of life 🐶💔 please pay this forward by adding this message to your future review so future guests can help! The hotel is lovely, rooms nice, restaurants great .. but it is not a quiet resort so if you prefer quiet then do not come here.

Super !
The resort is very beautiful and modern. Everything is well maintained, and you can really feel the care that goes into the entire property. What truly makes this hotel special are the people. The staff in every area — from the waiters and chefs to housekeeping and entertainment — are disciplined, hardworking, and incredibly dedicated. I believe this hotel stands out because of its employees: they are uniquely engaged, attentive, and always give their best. The spa was extremely relaxing. I had one of the best massages I’ve ever experienced — truly exceptional and deeply restorative. Warm regards from Germany 🇩🇪
