Thieves work in this resort. No support.

We are right now staying at this resort. Payed extra 1,000$ for preferred customers. We ate at room 3109. Two days ago my credit card got stolen from my wallet. They charged us 2,944cad. They have tried to charge in les than 30 min another 5,400, thankfully the bank cancelled second charge and it didn’t go through. We had reported it to concierge. They took a photo of the charge on my credit card and said they will take care of it. Today they have told us they don’t enough proof to know who could have been. Very frustrating and a really annoying experience. I will never come back here.

    Dreaming of Going Back...

This resort was absolutely incredible! It is a beautiful resort, offering so many options for food, drink, entertainment, and activities. Every night, there is so much to do beyond the shows (which are among the best I've seen in the Caribbean). One night, there was a show, sip and paint, silent disco, and live music, all within the same night! I During the day, there are a ton of pool activities and exercise options. They even have show previews and live music at the pool, along with daily food and drinks of the day with the entertainment team and dancers. Special shout-out to the fantastic entertainment team who go above and beyond--Jhony Bravo, Tairis, Princess Diana, Baby Face, La Negra Victor OG, Daimond, Ashlin, William, Barbie, Lucy, and many others! So many restaurants--Italian, Mexican, Teppanyaki, Asian, French, steakhouse, and seafood, along with the buffet. The coffee shop is open 24 hours and is amazing--this rivals Starbucks and has fantastic coffee drinks, snacks, smoothies, shakes, and ice cream whenever you want them. There are multiple pools, a waterpark, and a lazy river right next to a bar and taco truck--what more could you want?! The service was amazing as well. We are already booking our next stay!

    Awesome family group holiday!

Went for a Xmas & NY break with a family group of 16 between 15 & 60. Highly recommend upgrading to Preferred if you can - better room location and separate beach area were a big plus. Staff very friendly and attentive. Be warned the sea is rough by the hotel (it is the Atlantic after all!) although calmer a few minutes walk up the lovely beach. Would definitely return.

Best food of any Dreams resort

Checkin at 1:00 pm was quick and easy, but we did have to wait until 4:00 for a room. There is plenty to do while you wait. There is construction happening for a Secrets next door. We were in two fourth floor rooms in Building 1 facing in the pool, and we did not hear any construction noise. The room was very comfortable, plenty of closet space, and enough outlets in the room and bathroom. The bathroom is also private, which is not always the case at Dreams resorts. There have been recent posts about food and people getting sick. We did not have that experience, and it was honestly the best food we have eaten at any Secrets or Dreams. We typically went to dinner at 6:30 every night, and we only waited 15-20 minutes at Seaside Grill on a Tuesday or Wednesday, and 45 minutes to eat off the menu at Himitsu on a Friday night. We went to the main pool on day 1, which was a Sunday. At 8:30, the majority of chairs had towels on them from people reserving them. Annoying, right? Fortunately, we had preferred benefits so we moved to the Family Preferred pool, and we spent the rest of the week there. Jesus and Rigoberto (concierge) at the Family Preferred pool were both good to us. They both got our towels, checked on us throughout the day, and brought us lunch from a Preferred Club menu. Jhonny, Summer, and Diana from the Entertainment team were full of energy, engaging and polite, and they kept me, my wife, and our two boys busy during the week. There were not activities in the Preferred Family pool, but there is an adjacent pool next to the grill area where they had activities throughout the day. We did not spend any real time on the beach this trip, but it is beautiful. There is plenty of sand, and there are also plenty of loungers. The water is rough according to my teenage boys. We have been to the public beach during a previous stay. If you walk to the beach and take a right, it is a short walk. There is a really good restaurant hut with Diana in the name. She has coolers of freshly caught fish, and she also makes chicken. It was a good experience when we went a couple years ago.
