    All inclusive Family Vacation!

Dreams Macao was a wonderful resort! Very family friendly with amazing service. The resort itself is very well maintained and managed. The variety of pools and entertainment keeps things lively which left us never bored. The beach is stunning and the spa is out of this world. The good is all inclusive food but on the better side of that scale! We love Dreams resorts!

    Wonderful Experience!

We had a great time (family of 4 with two kids under 12). The hotel was beautiful and clean, the staff were incredibly warm and helpful and the food was actually quite good for an all-inclusive! My kids loved the water park and the arcade. I loved the preferred bar and in particular Mayra was the best bartender. The entertainment staff were also great. People like Baby face & Tairi remembered us and always checked on us during the day! Highly recommend

    100% would recommend

I am writing this review from a perspective of staying in a preferred oceanfront master suite and having visited over 20 AI’s between the DR and Mexico The room was fantastic, the living room had a pull out couch, there was a little kitchenette and dining table, the bedroom was spacious and primary washroom was huge, there was a 2nd washroom with a sink and toilet. By far the best part of this room was the huge balcony, we spent so much time out there. Housekeeping came twice a day and kept the room clean Preferred is the way to go at this resort, our butler ‘Eribelto’ was AMAZING and found us at least twice a day to check on us, the preferred beach always had available chairs and ‘Willy’ ensured you were taken care of, the servers were very attentive and ensured our drinks were always full. The preferred adults pool was an amazing atmosphere’Moises’ did an amazing job at ensuring everyone was happy and the calibre of the other guests was great, always had great conversations in the pool! What I loved most about both the pool and beach they asked everyone their room # to ensure they were preferred guests LOVED that! The Oceana restaurant had great food but the breakfast service was slow. The buffet had a section during breakfast for preferred guests and the service there was excellent’Julio and Iandra’ were our main servers and lays started our day with a smile 2 water parks, one for the younger kids was very quiet, you could have had this whole area to yourself! The adult water park wasn’t super busy either, lots of room to have fun As noted by other there is a new resort being built and it was loud when they were using jack hammers but to be perfectly honest it in no way impacted our vacation, we were close to it but when it the room didn’t hear it at all, nor on the balcony The entertainment team is by far the most engaging group we have ever encountered, Diana had my husband dancing (that’s a first) and Kenny was so positive and sitting with you to get to know you and encouraging you to get up and dance! Overall this resort was amazing, although lots of kids there was so much to do they were spread all over the resort so there was never a bunch in one area The service sets this resort apart from the others, I have never met a group of people that were truly dedicated in ensuring you were having a good time. We will definitely be returning and I know this is an amazing resort to say this as I am a swim in the ocean person and as others have noted this is not the best water to swim in, very wavy and a strong under current! If there was any feedback for the resort it would be to put a railing on the main set of stairs and please put an initiative in place to spay and neuter the homeless dogs and ensure they have food and water and shaded shelters that roam that beach, it was heartbreaking to see and then seeing the security on atv’s chasing them was upsetting

    Construction Intrusion - Beware!!

Overall, I found the resort to be clean, the people friendly and the food was very good with the exception of the Mexican restaurant. The tacos I ordered were found wanting and there is no real sour cream available. My biggest issue was the fact that our swim out faced a construction site. The noise from the jackhammers was incredible. The rooms most affected are in the buildings named block one. STAY AWAY from this block of rooms!!! We paid top dollar for the swim out for privacy and peace and quiet. We got none of that except for the weekend and after 5 PM. At the very least, these rooms should be heavily discounted for the noise and dust that came across to our area. We were told that an adult only dreams resort is being constructed. At the rate they build, it will take at least another year to complete. When we complained about this our butler did the best he could and we got comped a free dinner in “The Cellar” room, a $350USD value which in my estimation did not come close to satisfying our inconvenience.

    Dreams macao

Resort was nice. Smaller than the other resorts we have stayed at but very nice. Rooms where very nice and clean. We had a butler named Domingo. He was the best. He was only a text away and very responsive. Any kind of issue we had or questions. He was on top of it. If we needed to see him, he came to us. I highly recommend Domingo. If you ever want or need something done. Request him if possible if youre planning on a trip.to Dreams Macao
