  Highly recommend!

  Amazing experience! This is the second time we came to Dreams Macao. The first time was in 2021 when covid protocols were still in place and there were very few travelers. We were worried this time that there would be way too many people, but that wasn’t the case. Although it was more crowded, we were able to enjoy our experience everywhere we went. Part of this is because we were part of the preferred club, so we had access to an adults only pool separate from the main pool. We had a great experience with our butler Alejandro, he was so helpful with anything we needed, remembered our names, and was there for us from beginning to end! If we go back and he’s still there, I would definitely request him again. My only regret from this trip is that the ATM didn’t work and we weren’t able to tip him. Next time we’ll be bringing more cash! The pools at this resort are 10/10, as well as the food. Everything we had was delicious and all the staff are very helpful. There were a couple times where things we ordered were forgotten, but there is a language barrier so it’s understandable. My one negative about this resort is that if you plan to use the public beach, you will 100% be harassed by locals with all sorts of things (guy with parrots, guy with coconuts, people selling tours, cigars, sunglasses, all sorts of things). This isn’t the resorts fault, just something to note. If you’re part of the preferred club, there is a roped off area of the beach that they can’t access. The nighttime entertainment here is good but mostly geared towards kids - there is something to do for everyone tho (adults, teens, kids, etc.) the water park is a huge bonus as well. I definitely plan on returning to this resort and highly recommend!

  Amazing family vacation!

  We had the best stay at Dreams Macao and would definitely go back! The resort is clean and not too big making it easy to get around and check everything out. We have two girls (6 & 4) and spent most of our days swimming at the main pool. The views and sounds of the beach are stunning. Unlike other resorts in Punta Cana, this one is tucked away and you really don't experience a ton of "foot traffic" and boats from the beach - which made it feel safe and relaxing. The food was decent for an all-inclusive resort and we loved how they did a fresh grill at the pool every day so you didn't have to leave to go sit down somewhere if you didn't want to! The Salmon at the Oceana restaurant was some of the best I have had. We spent most of our days at the main pool but the lazy river and kids park was good too! We didn't use the water slides as the girls were too short still. People did reserve pool chairs starting really early/all day but I feel like that's like any resort, so just beware that you'll want to claim your spots early too. We also liked that you didn't have to make reservations at restaurants! We had to wait one night for 30 mins but the patio had live music and events most nights too and we didn't mind. They give you buzzers like restaurants in the US! The nightly shows were so great! We were very impressed and the team did such an amazing job - they were not corny at all and the kids loved them. We even got nightly rides back to our building from Guerri, who treated the kids so kindly. We ended up upgrading to preferred club when we arrived and so glad that we did. Having direct access to our Butler, Johanny was really nice! He made us habachi dinner reservations (the only rez required), helped with questions and anything else we needed. It was a nice touch and would definitely do again. Last but not least, the employees are what make this place especially traveling as a family. The kids club was great and the team there - Rapunzel and Moana do such a good job with activities. The entertainment team did fun games throughout the day too - Shoutout to Johnny Bravo and Baby Face on the entertainment team. The pool bar staff with Papa Chicken are great and we also loved the Baracuda bar and the team there! Can't say enough good things about our stay, we are already planning our trip back!

  Good times in the D.R.

  Stayed 14 nights in a preferred club, ocean view, jr suite and the room was great!!! From the moment we checked in and got our Butler Luis Murray we were very well taken care of. All the restaurants were excellent to eat at. The bars were good and more than expected had the higher quality liquor. Our Wine Sommelier Angel had us taken care of at a few dinners. Luis and Willy at the waterpark provided top level service. Gensy at the beach was fun and kept the cold drinks coming!!! The three security dogs and all the beach security staff made the beach feek safe as anywhere. Lifeguards at the beach all day long so swimming in the surf felt a little safer. Walks down the beach to the cliff line were pleasant and snorkeling down the cliff line wasn't to shabby. The resort is pretty big but waits for dining were quick and it didnt seem overcrowded. Great place, great trip!!!

  Great stay!

  Great stay! Loved the level of personalized service. Appreciated being able to enjoy our meals outside; whether eating at breakfast, lunch or poolside. Moises at the adult Preferred pool ran a well oiled ship. He would ensure you had fresh towels, loungers to sit on and offer you the lunch menu in addition to drinks.

  5 stars!! ⭐️

  My family and I just returned from a 10-day stay at Dreams Macao Beach, and we can’t say enough good things about this resort! The grounds of the resort are beautifully maintained, with everything so well-kept and spotless. The views of the ocean were breathtaking, and we were lucky to swim in the water almost every day. Our kids, who are nine and six, had a blast playing in the waves, though we always made sure to be close, as the waves could get pretty intense at times. We opted for the Preferred Club, and it was absolutely worth it—the added perks made our stay even more enjoyable. We were also really impressed by the housekeeping services—our room was cleaned every day, our mini-fridge was always stocked, and we never ran out of water. The food was great, with plenty of variety, but what really made a difference was the friendliness of the staff. Everyone we encountered was so helpful and welcoming. A special thank you to our butler, Jansel who kept us informed about daily activities, was always responsive to our questions, and even arranged a birthday cake for our son at one of the restaurants. A big shoutout to the staff at the Preferred Beach area and Preferred Pool (Maria, Anderson, Jesus (Ventura), where we spent most of our time—they were amazing! And of course, La Negra from the entertainment team, who made sure our kids were always having fun. We would definitely come back!
