    Dreams Macao - would recommend.

The experience started rough upon arrival at Dreams Macao. Aside from being handed cool towels, no one addressed or guided us during check-in. We had paid for the Preferred experience, but this was not evident at arrival. Additionally, we were given a time-share pitch at check-in, which was not appreciated after traveling all day and waiting in the heat — at that point, all we wanted was to get to our room and freshen up. Our butler, Manuel, was top-notch and genuinely worked to enhance our stay, although we noticed that not all guests with butlers appeared to have the same experience. The resort itself was very nice, and the staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. However, we had requested three double-bed rooms and were assigned three rooms with king-sized beds. We understand that room requests cannot be guaranteed, but we were hoping at least one room would have two beds, especially since one room was for a party of two who required separate beds. Unfortunately, this could not be accommodated, which made sleeping arrangements challenging and awkward. Drinks and food were good, the entertainment was adequate, and the beach was beautiful. I never made it to the waterpark area but heard good reviews. If possible, I would recommend the Preferred experience — if only for access to the adults-only pool and the preferred restaurants.

    Great family hotel

If you are visiting Dreams Macao please feed the stray dogs. We took dog treats but this gorgeous gentle girl loves leftover salmon that we kept from dinner the previous evening. Breaks my heart seeing the stray dogs .. hope the hotel/staff help look after them & keep them safe. The hotel is lovely for families but its not really for couples or the elderly in my opinion. Restaurants are busy so book if you can. Food is great. Staff are wonderful.

    Amazing resort in paradise!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Dreams Macao Beach! It is a beautiful resort with plenty to do, especially for families. We spent most of our time at the beautiful beach, pool, or water park. The beach area is large, with plenty of lounge chairs. There is a separate area for preferred club members (we did not upgrade). There is also an adult only and family pool for preferred members. The other pool is very large, with a separate section for little kids. There were a lot of activities in and by this pool. It’s very lively and fun. My kids especially enjoyed the water park. There are 2 twisted slides and 5 straight slides. They were very fun. I believe you have to be about 4 feet tall to ride. The lazy river is nice too, with plenty of tubes. There are shows every night and little dance parties. The entertainment staff is great! The resort also has an arcade with bowling, but we didn’t experience it. It does cost additional money ($30 per person per day I believe). There’s also a rock climbing wall and zip line, owned by the same company as the arcade. We ate at 4 of the ala carte restaurants, El Patio, Portofino, Seaside Grill and Himitsu. They were all good, Portofino and Himitsu were our favorites. I especially enjoyed the lasagna and Portofino and California rolls ate beef and broccoli at Himitsu. There were plenty of options at the World Cafe for breakfast and lunch. They even have a kids corner (my daughter loved it!) and gluten free selection. The staff were wonderful at the resort. Check in and out was pretty quick. I accidentally left my phone on the airplane on the way to the resort. The concierge helped me find it and arranged for it to be picked up at the airport. Overall, we loved our time at Dreams Macao!

    Great family vacation

Dreams Macao is a beautiful resort. There is something for everyone. The kids love it, and we love the relaxation. The food is great with lots of vegan and gluten-free options. The staff is friendly, inclusive, and attentive. Eribelto and Edinson In particular took great care of us! It is our kids favorite resort!

    Worth it! Pack your bags!

Spent a week with my kids (16 & 11) in the Preferred Club and we had THE BEST TIME. The beach and ocean were breathtaking with soft golden sand and dramatic waves. It's not easy to swim there, but if you enjoy the beauty of the ocean and are happy to jump in the waves, it's ideal. To swim, we enjoyed the pools very much. The food was quite good, and we loved the Dreams Benedict at Oceana for brunch daily. But the real star is the wonderful service. Alejandro was our butler, and he took care of everything with a smile and checked in with me daily. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful overall, especially J. Ventura, who is going to be a terrific butler someday, too.
