Wonderful vacation! Wonderful staff and resort!
We just returned from this resort and we had a wonderful time! The beach was beautiful and there was plenty of loungers for everyone. We enjoyed seeing the dogs on the beach and found them to be very friendly and sweet. We had an amazing server, Nikaury, who quickly became more like family. She would come by to check on us often even though our loungers were a bit out of the main area. She always had a smile and was very friendly. She truly made our beach days incredible! The pools were plentiful and offered a variety of activities. From the water park with slides and a lazy river to the other pools around the resort, there was something for everyone. We don’t usually “lounge” at the pools but I did notice a lot of towels on chairs early in the morning. So for people wanting to lay by the pool, you will need to claim your spot early in the day. The restaurants were plentiful and offered a nice variety. We had breakfast in the Oceanside Grill each morning and enjoyed made to order breakfasts. The servers were very friendly and helpful. For lunch we grabbed something at the Barefoot Grill where everything was grab and go. Dinner options were great. Our first night we ate at the World Cafe which offered a nice variety of food options. We also ate at Seaside Grill. Roberto was a super star at this restaurant! He was friendly and kept an eye on all the tables-quickly stepping in to keep things flowing. Roberto truly made this night special for us. We also enjoyed Himitsu. We had a fun time eating at one of the Teppanyaki tables and Jensy provided a fun and tasty dinner experience! For our final night we dined at Portifino. The food was pretty good and the servers wonderful. Christian from the lobby was absolutely wonderful and helped secure our airport transportation. He also called us the morning of our departure and came to get our bags as well as giving us a ride to the lobby. Overall this was an amazing vacation! Some tips: Get a preferred room if you can. It gives you access to more restaurants as well as pool and beach access points. You also have a butler who helps you with anything you need. Jansel was our butler and he was amazing!!! Highly recommend! Take cash for tips. You still get fabulous service without tipping, but resort staff work LONG hours and tips are very appreciated. There are vendors walking on the beach trying to sell things. They are not overly pushy. If you are not interested, you just say “no thank you” and they will leave you alone. The beach has smooth rocks along the water. They are not sharp but can be surprising if you are not looking out for them. This is the 3rd Dreams resort we have stayed at in Punta Cana and is by far our favorite one. We will be back!

Great resort but no place to enjoy the pool
Overall, the resort was great except for the absence of chairs by the beach/pool (see below) and the disproportionately small fitness center. Staff was very friendly and service was excellent. Food was great. We stayed in a family villa and it was outstanding. The chair issue is a major one that would prevent us from coming back. There are far too chairs by the pool more so than the beach it essentially prohibits most of the guests from being able to sit around and use the pools. This was bad everywhere including by the Preferred Club pool (which we were never able to use due to no availability of chairs). We tried to rent a cabana (which is an extra charge) just so we could be by a pool but there were none available. We tried to "reserve" some chairs before but 100% of the chairs by the pool were claimed just after 8:00 AM. We witnessed an unpleasant exchange between guests who were arguing who had claim to a set of chairs. We had some success finding chairs in the waterpark, but there is not a pool in that area (though there is the lazy river).

Highly recommend!
We stayed here over Christmas holiday. Loved the property, grounds are beautiful, room was spacious with an ocean view. We did the preferred club and it was worth it. Having the private bar and pool were great. Concierge service comes with, our butler was able to make a few dinner reservations for us but that was about all he did. It was nice having room cleaned and turn down service nightly. Food was good not great but I think most all inclusive are like that. All of the staff were so great, nice, there to help. This is a great spot for families with kids, the water slides and lazy River , arcade, bowling, kids club and everyday/night there were activities for them. We would definitely stay here again!

Family Fun
We had a wonderful family vacation with 17 of us ranging in age from 3 to 72. The highlights include the incredible water park and slides, kid's arcade, zip line, climbing wall, pickle ball court, pools, and beach. The food was very good, especially the outdoor grill by the pool and the French restaurant. The staff were helpful, but apparently not trained to be universally friendly as I've experienced elsewhere. (Often they would silently pass without a smile or an "Hola".) The lowlights include allowing vendors on the grounds to hawk their cheap wares and cigars. One huckster convinced my special needs and deaf son to purchase a 9 inch cheap wooden cat for $147.94! (Really, see photo). My bank fortunately flagged it as fraud, and I had to spend time on the phone with my bank and then confronting the dufus who tried to rip off my son. Keep these jokers off the resort! Also, their stated policy of not reserving beach or pool chairs is utterly unenforced, leading to hundreds of unaccompanied chairs while folks walked around looking for a seat. The pool chairs were all taken with towels and such by 7:30am, even though the pools are not open until 9:00! While the ocean was warm and inviting, the surf and rocks off shore make it a dangerous place to swim. We covered these issues with our positive attitudes and overall we had a fabulous time!

Christmas Paradise Getaway
Resort is beautiful, family friendly, with great options for everyone. I would stay here again. The asian cuisine is the best spot. Make your reservation a head of time.
