  Mercedes made our start exceptional. In fact, the entire staff at Dreams is amazing! It’s worth getting into the preferred section although I’m sure even without it you’ll have an amazing time

  Cons outweigh the Pros

  We were so excited to stay at Dreams to celebrate our anniversary. It was an odd stay- so many amazing positives but so many areas where expectations were not met. Not worth the price we paid. Pro’s: - the staff in the restaurants are amazing! Wonderful service and friendly, warm people - the quality of the food and variety exceeded expectations - the Preferred Club beach area was comfortable and private - the app was a great tool for resort maps, information, menus, etc - incredible housekeeping, staff that were so kind and friendly and did an amazing job cleaning the room every single day Con’s: - the hard sell for Hyatt timeshares at check in was frustrating, and we were not shown to our room until it was explained with a lot of guilt tactics and pressure - we did not get the room we had booked and the hotel was not willing to put us in the room type we booked and paid for (booked a Preferred Club Ocean View, request quiet high floor; received obstructed view beside the elevator over the noise pool / plaza where all the entertainment happened). We were told that we would have to go to our travel agency to get this addressed. - this is a smaller resort and as such, the restaurants do not take reservations. The buffet is not open at dinner meaning that there are four options for dinner, three if you have young children. What we weren’t told at check-in and what was not indicated on the app is that once per week each of the restaurants is closed. This means that the restaurant you planned to visit might not be open and on those nights waits for dinner are over an hour unless you get in line by 4:30 PM to get into the restaurant when it opens at 5:30 PM. Indicating which restaurants are closed on which nights in the app or even letting us know at check-in would’ve avoided a lot of frustration and given us the opportunity to plan an alternative dinner - on our second day plywood went up around the lobby bar, and it was closed for the duration of our stay. Again, there was no notice that this would happen and the entire lobby atmosphere was completely removed. Additionally, they were Servicing people from a rolling cart so it was often very busy and took up to 30 minutes for us to get a drink - The 24 hour grab and go Café looks like it had a great menu, but we didn’t really get to experience it because the four times we went there there was at least 10 people waiting and two times there was no staff to be seen for over 15 minutes Many of these “cons “would’ve been completely acceptable if we were told in advance what was going on or if the app outlined the expected closures so that again our expectations would’ve been managed.

  Highly recommend!! Will definitely be back!!

  Dreams was absolutely incredible!! The location was beautiful with gorgeous ocean views and a very photo worthy vibe. The staff was top notch! From the wait staff at the world cafe and other restaurants to Brian and Diana in the entertainment group. The restaurants had 5 star dishes and you were able to get any type of drink you wanted at any bar from French75’s to margaritas to martinis. Our room was specious, clean and had a big balcony with an ocean view. We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!

  A very average experience

  Overall, our experience Hyatt Dreams Los Cabos was very average. I will say that the employees, and weight staff were very friendly. However, in general, I believe the resort needs some updating. The common areas were fairly well kept up and decent, but other areas could stand some updating. The food was very average – about what you would expect at an all-inclusive. The pool area was visually, appealing, and very nice to be around – but I will say that the water was so damn cold, that literally no one was swimming! Very, very disappointing for our tropical vacation. Overall, I cannot recommend this place. We have been to Cabo several times and this has been to my least favorite place that we have stayed.

  Clean and hospitable family friend resort with activities for all ages and interests!

  This was our second year staying at Dreams over Thanksgiving week, and we’re already excited for our next visit! The staff is truly wonderful - from the check-in team to the entertainment squad (Diana, Manuel, Bryan, and Pamela) to the servers - everyone makes the experience feel both relaxing and fun. I recommend this resort to everyone. Our room this year was beautiful, with an ocean-facing view and our own hot tub. We also loved the nightly entertainment and ventured off property a few times to golf, go boating, and try some local dining spots. Some of my favorite activities were the finger painting with Angel, pool aerobics with Diana, and volleyball on the beach. Last year they offered pool yoga, which I hope returns on our next stay. The food was excellent (better than last year) and the drinks are good depending on what you order. I definitely recommend this resort for families with children of any age. There’s so much for kids to do, and the layout makes it easy for parents to give them some freedom while still keeping an eye on them from a safe distance. We can’t wait to come back!
