Nov 28, 2025Terrible experience even as a globalist
We had the worst experience. We went there for a family reunion. We had bought a package with Costco and purchased 2 other rooms as a globalist member. I mistakenly checked my Costco room in first and then checked in as a globalist later. The guys at the preferred lounge assumed I bought all my rooms with Costco. They put us in the first floor. Try to avoid the first floor rooms at all cost. I purchased 3 rooms with preferred level and ocean view but got rooms with no view facing bushes and a wall. They told me that there was nothing they can do since they are sold out. Bugs on the beds, my son and a few family members got rashes from the bites. The room smelled like sewage, you get woken up at 2am by staff rolling carts, the rooms were outdated and furniture had disgusting stains. The food was very subpar. Everything was too salty and steak was either overcooked or cold and frozen. A handful of really nice staff. However, majority of staff seemed overworked and annoyed. The best part that made our vacation tolerable was the entertainment crew at the beach! They were amazing! They had paella at the pool side and that was our best meal of the entire trip. Overall, I would not recommend going during busy season. Staff are grumpy and annoyed.

Horrible
Would not recommend this resort. Our room was dirty upon arrival (fake eyelashes used on the counter and an earring); the minibar was not restocked. The staff continuously rolled their eyes when trying to order food or drinks. Food was just okay, it was all the same menu across the resort. Many items were never brought and we were told several times “no” when trying to order a drink or food from somewhere. I have stayed at other all inclusive resorts and they are much nicer, cleaner and much better food. When we arrived we were just given keys and were told to figure out where the room is. I would highly not recommend this resort, very dissatisfied.

The receptionists were helpful during check-in/out and friendly. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Our rooms were well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony of one bedroom suite I could view the sea as well as the pool and feel the cool breeze. The swimup room was perfect for a quick morning dip before venturing out. The location of our rooms were absolutely perfect. Cabana are absolutely wonderful. Perfect for watching football. Food and drinks were delicious. When out at the beach be sure to stop by barefoot grill and ask for Rufo! The delicious beach snacks were highlighted by Rufo's excellent customer service. Great staff, food, location and the pool is the best I’ve been too
We have been travelling to this resort now for the past 6 years now at least once a year. We love this place. We have gotten to know the staff and now are very familiar with getting to know the resort . It’s a great smaller resort and everything is always a short walking distance from Any room you stay at. We have 3 kids and some suites will allow a family of 5. This year the kids club was awesome. Our kids loved it. The staff; Andy, pao, sandy, clay, and tomy were great with us and our kids. Our 4 year old in particular would always bug us to keep going back. The pool area was great with Brian and all his activities. He’s great with his blow up balloons for the kids as well as the adults. Rosario at the coffee shop is also on top of her drinks. She’s always so nice to see and chat with . She has been watching the kids grow up and it’s always a pleasure to see her. Food was great and service from jonpal and his two friends were top notch. All in all , it’s a great resort and you can’t go wrong with it

Amazing food and amazing place Every staff was spectacular. Special mention to Lucas he was excellent. Activities were amazing special mention to Bryan and Diana. Bartender Ohilio was very kind and hardworking.
