    Bad experience

Not a friendly staff. Food is really not very good. Did not enjoy it. My wife and I came for our 5th anniversary. We went to Secrets resort first and then came to Dreams. Secrets was 10 times better. It was sad to see the difference in quality and how unprofessional and rude the staff is at Dreams compared to Secrets.

    Perfect family vacation

This is our second time at Dreams LC and it was amazing. This time we were Hyatt members, and appreciated the free room upgrade. This is a smaller all inclusive hotel, which we loved. It felt big enough to have fun, but small enough to not get lost and overwhelmed. The staff here is so friendly and helpful. Marcos and his team out by the pool led great entertainment options (I loved the painting class led by Angelo). Elsa, one of the pool servers was very attentive and quick to bring our orders. Victor at the Seaside Cafe was so welcoming, and remembered my husband and my drink orders. And, Silvia at the Preferred Club bar was friendly and gave us many drink suggestions. The Explorer's (Kid) Club workers were very friendly, but the room and activities were a bit too young for my 8 and 10 year olds. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back in the future!

    Great stay

I had a great experience at Dreams Los CABOS. When we arrived, our car and luggage was taken care of immediately. We did arrive two hours early from check in so our room was not ready. During that time we were able to use all the amenities so that was helpful. Once we got into our room we were able to change into our swim gear and get out to the pool! My kids were Deff eager to do that. Once at the pool it was hard to find a pool chair open and towels were always hard to come by. I would ask someone at the pool for towels and they would get us towels usually within 30 minutes. Finding someone was the hard part. They were ALWAYS very kind and helpful though. My first day at the pool, I had the greatest server who ensured I always had a cold drink. He even brought both my girls food which was awesome!! After that day, the servers were pretty scarce and in order to get a drink, we had to go into the pool and get it at the swim up bar. Not that big of a deal really. When my girls and I were by the kids pool my youngest who is a descent swimmer got stuck around the waterfall. It created a current of some sort where it made her stuck. She was unable to swim out of it and became really scared and tired. My oldest daughter and my self had to jump in to get her and we both found it hard to swim out of. After that we stayed away from the kids side. The beach was great. My family and I went out to the beach and played in the sand and found some sea shells!! The beach is clearly marked that you shouldn’t swim in the water and there are some workers out on the beach who monitor people incase they attempt to go in the ocean. I think having them out there is such a great idea. On the beach there are some locals who try to sell items to you but it wasn’t overwhelming and they didn’t hassle you too much. There are really only three actual restaurants you can eat at. There is an Italian, sea side grill (normal bar food) that turns into a steak house at night, seafood restaurant, and a buffet that turned into a French restaurant at night. The French restaurant was currently under construction. There was a 24hr coffee shop available that you could get sandwiches, drinks, and other desserts that my kids and husband loved!! In the main lobby there were typically fresh cookies always available and they were so good!! For dining, you didn’t make reservations. You just showed up and put your name on a list. Sometimes there was a 45 min wait but it was never that bad because you could go back to your room and wait. Or if you planned properly you could put your name it while your family was getting ready. At each restaurant, the servers were always so kind and helpful! In our first day my husband and I were suckered into hearing the presentation for the unlimited club for Hyatt. Were told it was about a 1-1.5 hour presentation but it lasted nearly 3 hours. I was actually interested in the information at first because the gentlemen we had was very kind. He accompanied us to breakfast to find out about our travel interests. Once we got up into their offices, another gentlemen was introduced to us and was extremely pushy! I still think the entire idea of the unlimited club does have some significant savings but I wouldn’t have been comfortable buying from the 2nd guy because of how pushy he was. It really spiked some red flags. Our room was cleaned 1-2 a day. They always did a great job. A few times we needed fresh towels for showers and had to call for them. That typically took a while for them to come. My oldest daughter is 12 and was too tall for the pull out couch. The team so wonderfully brought us a rolling cot bed for her. She was perfectly content on that for 6 nights. This resort is all inclusive so food and drinks were included. In my opinion the drinks were subpar including the juices. The orange juice was really bad. The fridge in the room was always kept stocked by staff and was included so you could drink as much of that as you wanted! Great benefit! The only other thing I think that could have made the stay better was to have less construction noise. While sitting on our patio we could hear a lot of the sawing. However, I understand that is how improvements are made so I can’t really be upset about that. Overall my family and I had a great stay at dreams! The staff that we met there were all very kind and courteous! Thank you!

    Not Good

Food and drinks were terrible. I didn’t drink any alcohol because it was so bad and there was no option to pay for something better. Had to switch rooms because first room was near the party pool and super loud. Pillows and furniture in room was broken and had stains (eww) on almost everything. The second room the moved us to was a bit better. House keeping was inconsistent (sometimes I would get shampoo, sometimes I would get coffee but no coffee cup, sometimes I would get clean towels).

    Poor Experience

The property looks much nicer on their website than in person. Also, the quality of food and drinks does not match the status nor the cost of this property
