Our family had a great stay
My family & I had an incredible stay at this resort! From the amenities to the staff, it was very nice, relaxing, & comfortable. Aneuris Febles was our wonderful butler. He did a great job bringing us coolers, delivering fruit trays, & keeping us in the loop of activities. Great stay & not too packed!

Beautiful resort with great perks and stunning bay, but service lacks warmth — especially at bars and restaurants
We recently spent a week at Secrets La Romana Adults Only, and I must say: every detail is beautifully taken care of — especially if you upgrade to the Preferred Club, which we highly recommend. The Preferred Club perks truly elevate the experience. You get access to a private VIP check-in desk, an exclusive lounge & bar with 24/7 drinks and snacks, a Preferred-only pool and beach area (with attentive beachside service), and the option to enjoy à la carte breakfast and lunch daily at Mare (adults only) and Coastal Grill (located in the family resort next door). Your room also comes with extra privileges: pillow menu, upgraded toiletries, and a much better stocked minibar and snack cabinet (think nuts, chips, M&M’s, candy bars — refreshed daily). The resort features three à la carte restaurants, one large buffet restaurant, several bars, two main pools (one for Preferred guests only), a spa (not included), a gym, a rather lifeless casino, and — surprisingly fun — a small but impressive waterpark with four large slides. Watersports are included too: catamaran sailing, SUP, paddle boats, and kayaks. A big plus is that you can also access the Dreams La Romana family resort next door, which adds even more dining and pool options to your stay. Despite the size of the entire complex, it never feels overwhelming. Thanks to lush landscaping with palm trees, tropical flowers, and green spaces, the whole property feels peaceful, spacious, and vibrant. The absolute highlight is the location itself: a beautiful, calm bay with crystal-clear turquoise waters, teeming with fish and perfect for snorkeling. The sea temperature (28–29°C) was simply glorious. Now for the downside — and it’s a significant one: the service at many of the bars and restaurants fell flat. Around 60–80% of the staff, especially in F&B, seemed disinterested, unfriendly, or outright moody. A smile — even a small one — felt rare. I fully understand the economic challenges in the Dominican Republic and the inequality between locals and the often wealthy tourists they serve. But many guests (like us) are more than willing to tip generously — and all we expect in return is a bit of genuine warmth, eye contact, or a kind gesture. So if you’re looking for a well-designed, all-inclusive adults-only resort with stunning nature, luxurious amenities, and access to both relaxation and fun — Secrets La Romana will deliver.

Resort very nice
Nice resort and the service was excellent. The security is great The hotel lacks entertainment and life music. The DJ and instrumentals in the lobby are ok but it is too boring and should have at least a few days more uplifting music. The food was also very good

Best trip
Throwback to one of the Best Trips Ever! 🌴✨ We had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful destination back when it was under Hilton, and let me tell you, it was unforgettable. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. It was an all-adults trip filled with incredible food, vibrant entertainment, and the kind of hospitality that leaves a lasting impression. Every meal was a highlight, every show was lively, and the vibe? Pure paradise. It’s one of those trips you wish you could relive again and again. dreaming of going back!
