High quality resort for the discerning traveler
Hotel is brand new ,of a 5 stars level. Rooms and pools are beautiful but absolutely top are the restaurants. Worth the trip is Sakura,their pan-asian restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. Special thanks to Franklin and Elvin for their outstanding service.

Go to Sakura for Teppanyaki and Blue Bar fo swim-up bar
The staff make the resort. They are exceptionally friendly and helpful, even through language barriers. Most staff say “it’s my pleasure” when they satisfy a request, and it really seems to be the case. I can’t appreciate the staff enough. A few standouts: - Santa and Oscar make the night at Sakura teppanyaki - a good show, the best food at the resort, and exceptionally kind and attentive service. - Olga and Raul at the Blue Bar - my first ever swim-up bar. They are so professional and anticipate every desire, and fun to chat. The resort is lovely, the facilities are very nice, and we have had a very nice time.

Jan 27, 2026The most beautiful beach we visited in the Dominican Republic, but the service was not good enough.
We really loved the hotel itself – the beautiful green areas, the beach, and the sea were absolutely stunning and truly the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the service did not meet our expectations and did not match the price level of the resort. We paid USD 150 for a beach cabana, yet we were not served by a waiter the entire day. Additionally, there was a constant feeling of pressure to tip at every step, which negatively affected the overall experience. Food quality was inconsistent, especially at breakfast, even though we dined only at the à la carte restaurants. Some restaurants clearly had better chefs than others, particularly for dinner. We were also very disappointed by an unpleasant incident at the café, where a staff member in a supervisory role handled a situation in an unprofessional and inappropriate manner, raising her voice and involving security instead of addressing the issue politely. Such behavior is unacceptable in a resort of this category. Lastly, my husband celebrated his birthday during our stay, and there was no acknowledgment at all — not even a small gesture. In resorts of a similar price range (such as the Maldives), we have experienced far more attentive service and genuine hospitality. Overall, while the location and surroundings are beautiful, the service quality and attitude of some staff members significantly detracted from our experience.
