Had an amazing stay, great service, food and drinks. The preferred option was great with a nice pool to relax in as well as the bar with extended drinks. The beach was lovely, turtles, barracuda, eagle rays right off the beach. Restaurant food was good, and very little wait times for tables even at Christmas time, seems to be plenty of options to manage the no reservation policy. One area to be aware of is that there are limited vegetarian options in some restaurants - what was available was very good, but feels more could be done. Saying that the vegitarian in the party loved it,

Dec 28, 2025The was a few hiccups along the way our beach server made things memorable in a good way
We have a lot of negatives about our trip . Amstar not at airport when we arrived . Not having internet and translation accessible makes things scary . . Taxi cab driver taking us to the wrong scuba business . But Diorka our beach server made our trip especial . She made sure our drinks were full and she was always happy and smiling .

This place was phenomenal! Had a wonderful experience with all the restaurants and the beaches were wonderful. I have to give an huge shoutout to Olga and Raul were fantastic bartenders and so friendly! Couldn’t recommend them or this place more ! Also, loved that the had many gluten friendly options.

Christmas at secrets
Amazing hotel, great facilities, very friendly and responsive staff, good food with lots of variety, fantastic beach. We had our best holiday and will definitely be back.

This is not an all inclusive as advertised. To get all the benefits you are asked to pay $75 each daily. That gives you the option to go to the hot tub, have breakfast at the restaurant, drink and swim at pools. Had us in the wrong room that we laid for and it had bugs in the shower. I ordered pork for dinner and it was bleeding on the plate. Very disappointed and will never go back.
