Jun 12, 2025My experience was very pleasing
I visited Colombia for the first time and decided to stay at Dreams. Upon arrival me and my wife was greeted by staff which was amazingly surprising. We was taken to an area to check in but we had to wait a hour for our room, it wasn’t a problem cause we arrived early than expected for check-in. But we was allowed to walk around and eat at the buffet which was cool. Now being that we are from United States, i knew the food selection would be different so it wasn’t that much of a concern. Most of the food was really good. Especially the cheese burgers lol. Only disappointing part of the stay was me mentioning i was there for my birthday. I mentioned this to the general manager (don’t remember his name) during the time where they was introducing staff at the pool side area. He had told me happy birthday and asked for my room number which i did. I thought maybe they would send a care package or something but nothing happened after my interaction with him. Outside of that i had a very good time and it was a very great experience. Nicolas the driver was very cool and took me and my wife where we needed to go outside of the resort. He kept in communication with us and dropped off and picked us up very promptly. I read a lot of reviews, some good and some bad but from my own experience the resort has greatly improved from the time some of the other reviews was written.

Do not stay at this hotel. They say it’s only closest with top shelf, alcohol but the top shelf alcohol that they had was not really top shelf in a regular restaurant, and it was all very expensive and not included. The constantly reminded you of that the hotel itself is very old, there’s mold and many leaks this construction, and some of the rooms has generally not that Clean. The pools are OK. They really only have one restaurant and then the world Café and they put out maybe a half a dozen dishes. The food was terrible. There’s one Italian restaurant. You have to give reservations for and they never had a reservation for us. It’s only open from 6 to 830 to the Italian restaurant, the best place in the hotel is where you can get coffee. It was cheap, but you get what you pay for. I rate the food. It may be a three.

Great service all around. Amazing entertainment .. I came with 2 other couples and I’ve been to a few resorts and this place has great entertainment at night as well as pool side during the day. Everyone I encountered was always very accommodating and at the restaurants the food was always great and served in a timely manner. I’ll def come back.

Really great experience with Jonathan. He toured with bike all spots that includes Kabiranna hotels, apartments and beach bar. He showed the beach bar to get the drinks and experienced the restaurants. The cleaning service was really great.

AMAZING VARIETY SHOW
The variety show was life changing, I wish I could experience it again because it was so magical. Props to the dancers, they were freaking incredible. Drinks included is cool too.. Had the best time wish I could have paid to see the variety show because those dancers deserve it.
