Dreams become true in Karibana golf & spa resort
I enjoyed my stay at Dreams Karibana resort for many reasons: the food was excellent in every restaurant, the preferred club also offered exquisite services of drinks and delicassies in a warm atmosphere, the activities were very enjoyable and the employees were friendly, polite and helpful.

Very enjoyable family trip
My family of three celebrated my husband's 50th birthday with our 11 year old son. POOL/AMENTIES The pool was great. Make sure your child can swim as there are no active lifeguards. There is a safety personnel but there more to help in case someone get's hurt. There were also a lot of pool toys and pool activities such as bag game, chess and plastic dart board. The beach was nice also really rocky so bring water shoes or flip flops theres also a small pool on that side and it was quiet as well. The bar waiters and waitresses were great and we made sure to give them a tip at the end of the day. We also did the preferred tier which was nice. If you are adults only you get to experience the pool area without children. We also liked the preferred lounge. The food wasn't much but the drinks were better. Not a lot of top shelf liquor but having the fridge stocked with juice, water soda and beer was nice. ACTIVITIES Activities were great. There were a lot of options. Only drawback is the info of the times the activities were to take place was not consistent. But once the activity started it was great! Our son didn't participate in the explorers club he was a little older for the children who were there but you'll see them around the resort and they looked like they were having fun. Our son did like the game room that was there. There was a PS5 with some preloaded games on it he enjoyed that a lot. There was not a lot of regulation on taking turns but there was an honor system to take turns in most cases. Theres also a connect 4 some card games and a pool table and an old fuseball table. Also an Xbox but it didn't work. There is a bus that goes into the city be sure to register with the concierge. We didn't do any excursions so have nothing to say on those. PREFERRED CLUB We bought a preferred club and it was worth it. I like to have some exclusivity. If you are traveling as an adults only vacation its worth it because there's a pool area dedicated to the preferred club members. There aren't very many top shelf options for liquor but check in was made very easy and check out with the preferred option. As well as the convenient room location and the filled fridge with beer, juice, snacks, and water. I did have to call and ask for it to be filled but we had a DND on the door so they didn't come in. So again its a good feature. All in all the people on the resort were magnificent! Very friendly. There were people from all around, US, Canada and around Colombia. I highly recommend if you don't know spanish or bring google translate because not everyone who works at the resort knows english, which is to be expected in another country. This was the first time I've experienced a Hyatt Resort so it was a nice experience would go again. Jesus at the pool was great so was Sebastian, Evelin is great in activities and so was Daniela the bartender in Preferred club.

We just came back, we stayed 7 days from December 25th. Definitely NOT a 4 or 5 STAR hotel. 3 stars TOP'S. The service people barely speak any English. The food in the restaurant below the Dreams Hotel's standards. Terrible beach. I think this place has a problem with management.

Amazing and relaxing spot in Colombia
We had an amazing 8 day stay at this all-inclusive palace. Kelli, Leidi, Ari, Eudith, Moni, Killy, Igmar we’re the best entertainment team. A quick walk or shuttle to the beach. There’s a restaurant at the beach. My kids loved the kids corner. They had non-stop activities for them. So much entertainment throughout the day. Fitness classes like pilates and cycling at the pool area. We learned how to dance Bachata at the beach one day. Then another dancing class at the pool side another day. When the evening hit, we did kareoke one night, then Spanish dancing another, live singing. We were there for Thanksgiving (American holiday) and they had singinig/ bubble show for the kids and a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
