Feb 21, 2026Well Appointed and Beautiful Resort
Located about an half hour from the International Airport, Dreams Karibana is a beautiful property that was perfect for the Afro Soul Columbia event that I attended. The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. The swimming pools are nice, always clean and just the right temperature. Even with a busy resort, we were always able to find chairs by the pool in the sun or shade and never felt we were crowded in or needed more privacy or space. There were many activities to enjoy and my favorite was the bike ride around the property. I also took the water exercise class which was fun. The buffet food is as good as you would expect for an all-inclusive. I recommend eating at the specialty restaurants as often as you can for the best experience. There you really get a good meal. I also liked the food at the grill by the Preferred Members' Pool. The vegetable burger was not a burger but grilled vegetables between unripe plaintain patties. It was delicious with a local touch. Don't sleep on room service. The food and service delivered in a timely fashion make it an easy choice when you just want to relax in the lovely room. The views of the sunset from our room were so beautiful. I'd just add another chair to the balcony so two can enjoy the view together. You really can't go wrong if you choose this property for a vacation. The views and different venues within the resort make for a wonderful time.

And if you do, don’t pay for Preferred. There’s literally no difference, at all. The staff, for the most part, shows very little interest in doing their jobs and will do the bare minimum. There’s nothing to do in the evenings and very few choices of restaurants. You’re also 1/2 hour away from town and there’s literally nothing else besides swampy lots around. We’ve been Preferred Members since 2021 and have stayed at 10 of their resorts and the quality has dropped every single time with this company. Use the money you would spend on this place and stay in town.

Nice experience
Nice experience although, the vegetarían menú is very incomplete, no vegetal proteín, like mushrooms o tofu or beans, and the silent disc is kinda late, had to wait a longa time to start, dos a bingo With jenni and evelyn,both Nice People

Nice resort but limited bells & whistles. Good drinks. Decent food. An overall nice time, but limited activities to engage in at the resort.

Family Fun
Entretenimiento excelente! Jonathan y Evelin maravillosos con los aqua aerobics. In the kids club, Michelle, Ariadna, Kelly and Leidy were great. Kids had a great time.
