    Relaxing Stay with Amazing Service

Arrival & Transportation I wish the hotel offered its own transportation service to and from Cancun Airport. The arrival process was quite overwhelming—Uber isn’t allowed, which we didn’t know, and we were suddenly surrounded by so many transportation vendors all bombarding us with offers. It was stressful, especially with luggage and a child. Check-In Experience Once we arrived at the resort, everything turned around quickly. Keyla checked us in and she was wonderful—warm, patient, and answered every question we had about the resort. Our bags were handled for us, and we even got into our room a little early, which was greatly appreciated after the hectic airport experience. Dining 🍣 Spice – Asian Restaurant / Hibachi We lined up around 4:30 PM for same-day hibachi reservations and were able to get a spot. (Only the hibachi requires reservations—everything else is walk-in.) Fabiola, the hostess, was amazing—friendly, organized, and had excellent English. Our hibachi chef, Miguel, was fantastic: incredibly entertaining, skilled with the grill, and kept adults and kids engaged the entire time. The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. We also returned another night just to dine at the regular side of Spice. The ambiance was beautiful, surrounded by water, and again the food was very good. Something I loved: the restaurants offer smaller portion sizes by default. This allowed us to sample multiple items and really reduced food waste. If you want more of something, you can always order an additional serving. 🍝 Capers – Italian Restaurant This was the biggest disappointment. Food was sub-par. Service was lackluster compared to other restaurants. The pasta tasted like something I could easily make at home. The osso bucco tasted boiled rather than braised. Desserts—especially the tiramisu—had almost no flavor. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad tiramisu until this. Would not recommend Capers. 🌮 Tamarindo – Mexican Restaurant One of our favorites! The birria tacos were flavorful and tender. Steak was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Desserts were incredible—the chocolate cake and corn cake were so good that we returned every night just for dessert. The ambiance, like all the restaurants, was upscale and very pleasant. Servers overall were attentive and kind. And please—tip well. The staff works incredibly hard. 🏊‍♀️ Pools There are three large pool areas, clean and spacious. However: Pool chairs are hard to find. Even though the resort has a rule against reserving chairs, guests definitely still do, which makes it challenging to get a spot later in the morning. 🌴 Beach Loved the beach here! Clean, soft sand Long stretch of coastline Water was clear with minimal seaweed Palapas are free, but you must arrive early because they fill up fast I wish there was slightly better poolside/beachside drink and food service One of the best parts: the beach is steps away from the pool area, making it super convenient. Entertainment & Activities 🌟 Standout Staff: Sue Sue, who seems to be one of the activities directors, was one of the highlights of the trip. First saw her leading Zumba—her energy is infectious. Later saw her again at the Mayan show—she was excellent at gathering a crowd and getting people involved. She truly deserves a raise! 🎉 Nightly Themes & Kids Activities The resort hosts theme nights, which we loved. One night included a kids’ bubble party with bounce houses and face painting. The staff working this event (wish I remembered their names!) were wonderful as well. Overall, this was a relaxing stay and a great value for the price. Beautiful property Good food (except Capers) Stunning beach Friendly staff Great activities for kids and adults

    Please improve your service

In our group of 4 families, all of us did not enjoy our experience due to poor service and average-below average food. For guests who do not drink (everyone in our group), there is not much to do, however this is not a big issue. Staff at the French and Mediterranean restaurants were rude and made simple requests seem like a large burden. When ordering 3 things, staff questioned this and even said “okay whatever” to someone in our group. People were scared to make requests in fear of being shamed or disrespected by servers. We were even left unattended for water. This behavior cannot be tolerated. Any guests should not have to deal with staff’s bad attitudes or be scared to ask for what they wish for at an all-inclusive resorts. Most food was average quality but portions were small, warranting ordering multiple dishes. Plus, wait times were very long for most restaurants. The one bright spot was Spice, the Asian restaurant, especially Miguel (our teppanyaki chef) and Emiliano (our waiter). They were nice and the food was good at Spice. At other restaurants, the poor service could not make up for the average to below average food quality. The resort definitely has potential due to its location and bright spots at Spice. In the short term, I would not recommend any guests to come to this resort, however, if the resort can make improvements in their service and food, then I would recommend guests to give this place a second chance.

    Thank you Javier and Miguel

Javier at the adult pool and Miguel at Spice were the only staff that were kind and respectful. The other staff was uninterested and rude at times. They did not even give us a napkin when we asked for one. Would not recommend unless the staff is trained by these two upstanding men.

    Dinner at the Asian Restaurant

We had an excellent experience in the Asian restaurant having the Thanksgiving Dinner. Thanks to Chief Miguel. He was cheerful and did a great show.
