Some concerns but overall was a relaxing week

Cons: Unfortunately, our first experience at this resort came with several hiccups. The most concerning issue was with the cleaning staff: despite us requesting they not enter, they came into our room, took our snacks, and left the door open for several hours. Thankfully, nothing more valuable was taken, but it was very unsettling. When I reported this to the concierge, I was dismissed with a comment that they were "sure they no mean to do that" and my concern about the missing snacks was completely ignored. The staff member gave me a blank stare and clearly had no intention of reporting the issue further. This lack of accountability was extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to share it here since it wasn’t taken seriously at the resort. I highly recommend watching your valuables closely. We did use the safe, but even small personal items hold value. Regarding the Preferred Club, I found it underwhelming for the cost. Despite it being advertised as offering more exclusive service, I didn’t encounter many bilingual staff in that area as expected. The adults-only pool was a nice feature, but we observed parents bringing children into the area although not in the pool itself, which we were told was part of the adult-only zone. While this may seem minor, it undermined the exclusivity that was promised. Others at the pool expressed similar disappointment, including a travel agent who said she wouldn’t recommend the Preferred Club to future clients based on her experience. We had a leak in the window that ran into floor during a light rain but based on our previous experience we didn't' bother bringing it to anyone's attention. Another downside was the resort market/store pricing, which was shockingly high. A small turtle rock was priced at $60 USD, with many other items over $100. This made it an unfeasible option for souvenirs. Surprisingly, we found much better deals at the airport—buying gifts for four people for just $90, including clothing and accessories. Also, just a note: the balcony jacuzzi (not hot tub) seemed unappealing and wasn’t used by us or others we spoke to—possibly due to the water quality or temperature. See pictures Pros: On a more positive note, the resort was clean, and the rooms were modern and comfortable. The food was absolutely outstanding—definitely a highlight of our stay. We also enjoyed the nightly entertainment and activities, which added to the relaxing atmosphere of the week. Despite the issues, we were still able to enjoy ourselves. But I hope management will take note of these concerns, especially regarding guest safety and responsiveness to incidents.

    Eduardo - Phenomenal and professional!

Were went to eat of the Mercure restaurant on the Dreams by Jade Resort property. We were promptly seated by the hostess for a table of 6. Eduardo Palomera was our waiter - let me say I’ve been in the service business all of my life, and this gentleman, distinguished, refined, and extremely professional took care of us like a true expert in his field. Our orders came at the perfect time for appetizers, and entrees, then dessert. Glasses of wine and water were topped up throughout the meal without having to request it. His humour and attention to detail all impeccable. He was so on his game - I gave him the biggest personal tip I’ve ever given anyone. Eduardo truly deserves this praise as his service was above excellent into phenomenal. Thanks again, Matty and group.

    Great experience!

Miguel did a wonderful job! Show was fun and food was great! Lots of fun. We really enjoyed it. Made funny jokes and the fire was really fun. My favorite part was the volcano. Miguel executed the food really well and we were so happy to have him with us

Fabulous resort, treating you like family.

We just returned from a trip to the Dreams Jade. The resort is beautiful. The staff is second to none. We stayed in the preferred club area. Beds were very comfortable and the room was super clean. Can’t say enough for the staff here. Pool wait staff was awesome, especially Angel Pinto. He introduced himself to us as soon as we sat down and he said it would be a pleasure to take care of you. He went above and beyond to keep the drinks coming. He was so kind to all the guest. The drinks were fabulous. This was an amazing trip. Only one downfall, the seaweed was horrible. That being said. They worked hard all day to keep the beaches free of it. It was such a huge job. It did get piled up but there was a storm the day before we arrived and I think it came in thick with the storm. Cin Cin restaurant was great. Our favorite was Capers. The food at these was really good. The poolside food was very good as well. All of the staff was great at the restaurants. All of the pool staff was very attentive. We will return someday! Thanks again for an exquisite stay! Thanks again to Angel, you went above and beyond! The Preferred Club staff decorated my daughters room for her 18th birthday. They pampered us which made her birthday and graduation present to this beautiful resort a very special memory!!!!
