Dream at Dreams
Beautiful, safe, clean, white sand clean beach, clear turquoise water, lots of activities. Deni, Hugo, feliciano, at the World Cafe were great. They gave great service and provided a friendly experience. The pools were clean and beautiful. Rooms were cleaned very well and often. Room service was relatively fast. I enjoyed yoga and other activities they had everyday.

Amazing resort, beach and people. Thank you for a great vacation
Great place, amazing staff looking after our every need. Highly recommend to others the Dreams Huatulco. Everyone working there made the time to talk, ask how everything was and if we needed anything. Can't wait to go back in 2026. Thank you to everyone

Family Friendly Mexican Vacation
This was our first time in Mexico and our first time travelling internationally with our daughter. The resort experience was wonderful. Our room was spacious and clean. The pools were clean and our daughter had a great time every day. The food was excellent everywhere we went. The only down side was the water at the beach was quite rough making it difficult to enjoy with a small child. Otherwise it was a wonderful first Mexican resort experience.

Huatulco Dreams Resorts
There’s no doubt that this is a beautiful resort, but it clearly caters almost exclusively to Spanish-speaking guests. Throughout our stay, we encountered only two staff members who spoke or understood English. Additionally, all television programming was in Spanish, so we had to rely on our phone to watch anything in English. This should be clearly communicated in advertising so that English-speaking visitors know what to expect. To better meet guest expectations, the resort could be more intentional in creating an inclusive experience for all visitors. As an English-speaking couple, it was extremely frustrating not to be able to fully enjoy the activities or amenities, as nearly everything was presented exclusively in Spanish. While we understand and respect the resort’s efforts to honor and preserve its cultural identity, Dreams is an international destination that welcomes guests from around the world. Unfortunately, we didn’t feel included in that experience during our stay.

Wonderful Time At Dreams But Time of Year is Important!
We had a lovely time at Dreams Resort as a family. The resort is clean, staff are friendly and helpful and the amenities were exactly what we needed for our time away. Brenda, Banely, and many other staff at the buffet went above and beyond for drinks, questions and care. Some things you should be aware of when traveling in April ( especially mkd- end) which significantly affected our trip, that we wished we'd known about. 1-The weather on the beach gets rough, for most of our week the beach was marked black which meant we couldn't swim or walk becausd the tide was hide, rough and wasnt safe to be on. This was disappointing because we would have loved to kayak and paddle board, two things we really love at home. We were told by friends who visit earlier in the year that they rarely have this experience. We have friends and met friends who have traveled to Dreams many times that gave us context to the trip. 2- The resort begins to fill with local Mexicans, which is lovely to practice your Spanish and enjoy more Mexican cuisine but made it harder with kids. It meant that most of the food that started as very north American kid friendly at the beginning of the week dwindled as the week went on and more local foods, with more spice was 90 percent. Lovely for my husband and I, bit harder for the kids. 3- kid friendly entertainment. Dreams really goes above and beyond and has kid friend activities but with mostly locals this time of the year, it was hard. As an example they had movies twice through the week, set up chairs outside, lights and popcorn. It was really special but they were in Spanish. Mid week, we had English subtitles to read to our youngest but by the end of the week, they didn't even have those. All this to be said, we'll be back, we loved the resort, staff and the area. The hotel strives to be very environmentally conscious, the area is so culturally rich and there is so much natural eco tourism to explore and appreciate. We can't wait to enjoy more, we just wish we knew some of these pieces before traveling near the end of April with kids.
