It was a great vacation despite our flight home being canceled due to weather in Toronto. It was our first visit to Huatulco and we loved the resort! We chose Dreams Huatulco Resort because of the beautiful swimming beach and lovely snorkeling spots. Nice ride from the airport—around 20 minutes—smooth check-in and vacation! ROOM – 4382: clean, very spacious with comfortable beds. The A/C worked well. MEAL: The buffet was great for breakfast! We loved Seaside Grill for lunch and dinner when it was open. Amazing sea view and service! Our special appreciation for outstanding service to Miriam, Ricardo, Eduardo, Daniel, Angye, Jesus, Victor, Francisco, Cecilia and, of course, Maximino at Rendezvous Bar! BEACH: beautiful! You can swim and walk for up to 30 minutes. And snorkeling… there are 2 lovely spots: close to Turtle Island and second one: go to the left by the rocks. Check out the amazing guys in the pictures and video on youtube! We saw turtles, spotted Eagle Ray, school of yellowtail surgeonfish, catfish, giant damselfish, angelfish, queen fish, boxfish, and more… Thanks to all the staff at Dreams Huatulco for making our trip enjoyable!

Feb 09, 2026We found the friendliness of the staff made the trip special
It was really way better than we expected we've stayed at a lot of other all exclusive's in Mexico this was by far the best. Food was good it was clean every where not to noisy at the pool but I was really the staff that made our vacation one of the best. Fabiola and Jimena the two young ladies who were seating us where we ate just made dinners special. I regret not getting the name of the waiter from the Asian restaurant who could ever so politely tell I had too much to drink and carried my take out up to the room for me. The waiter at the Mexican restaurant who always had the biggest smile for me. The service we had at the Italian restaurant the maitre d and the waiter. Galdino the bartender made the best Manhattan I've ever had. I can honestly say it was the staff that made our trip even my buddies at the Coco cafe who would pile on the late night snacks before I went to bed at night. Great service doesn't happen by accident we can thank Luis Hurtado for that Its a constant that if the management is excellent it shows up in the staff from the top to the bottom.

Great all inclusive trip! We will be back! Dennis and Audrey N
We had a two week vacation at Dreams, its a beautiful resort, very clean with great views! We are ocean/beach people, we were able to get a palapa easily enough, you just need to get up a little earlier and watch the beautiful sunrise to start your day in paradise! We checked out a few more beaches but the Dreams beach is by far the best. Also had great bar service on the beach! We felt very safe on the resort and also when leaving, took taxis a few times with no problems. In fact some of the drivers, like Max gave us great info about the area. We enjoyed the food, so many choices, and took advantage of the al a carte restaurants multiple times. We can't say enough about the staff, they are such hardworking friendly people! There are a few we'd like to mention, Seaside Grill - Yadira, Nancy and Kimberly. Oceans- Angel. World Cafe - Brenda and Jesus. Himitsu - Jimena, Rendezvous - Galdino. We also want to mention Tavo with his Harris Hawk Aegon, he did an exceptional job keeping the blackbirds away from the open air restaurant! We look forward to our next trip!

We enjoyed our time at Dreams in January of 2026. The beach and water is amazing. Overall the resort is good. We found the staff to be excellent and our room to be spotlessly clean. The food is acceptable. Don't expect to be amazed by the meals. Bar staff is fast and friendly but it seems like the beverages are not very strong. There are no higher end drinks on the list. I am a big fan of sipping rums, but, there were none that I would consider worth it. Also, very disappointed they did not have any Modelo. Especially Modelo Negra. Beer selection was poor.
