Dec 02, 2025Magical Romantic Beach Resort w/ Non-Stop Entertainment, Activities, and Friends
Dreams is the most accurate name this place could have because it felt like I was living in a dream. There is so much to do from the moment you wake up. Swimming at the beach, playing games or painting by the pool. volleyball, dancing to live music at night, partying at the club in the late hours... And everywhere you go is someone ready to get you a drink. It's small enough that you start to make friends. The people you party with late at night will be the people you play volleyball with on the beach the next day, or dancing to live music. You might even find yourself at the same table during a special performance. Also, the romantic dinner on the beach is worth every penny, it was the cutest most romantic experience of my life. I really think it was the best 5 days of my life, and while I wish I could stay longer, it was so fun that even 5 days felt satisfying enough. Time passed slowly in the best way there. Like the whole world stopped for that time. Truly a magical experience.

Dreams Huatulco
Nice Resort, Nice Staff, Sandy at the Preferred Beach area is amazing and very attentive. Everthing is very close, lots of pools. The only negative is I thought the quality of the food could be better, I’ve been to a Dreams resort in the Maya Rivera and it’s much better.

Our stay was amazing as always!
In Preferred Club: Cristina, Graciela and Judith are always so wonderful. No matter how many guests are in there, they make everyone feel at home. They make sure you have everything you need and then some. They are all so pleasant and professional. They truly care about what they do, and it shows. Guests who have been coming there for years absolutely love them. Genaro and Sergio made sure to bring us our late afternoon snacks promptly and with so much care. They made sure we had everything we needed and asked for. We miss Genaro in the Preferred Club. He was also so wonderful when he worked there. Julio always made sure we had all we needed at dinner. He along with the rest of the staff run things so smoothly and with such delight. They make our dinners extra special. We all love the show that comes with delicious coffee at the end. Our stay is always amazing and so hard to leave and go home. Can't wait to come back!!

Positive Experience

We attended a friends wedding in November 2025 and were very much looking forward to the quality that we would expect from at Hyatt resort. The resort is on a lovely beach and close to town and the airport. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Sadly the food was underwhelming overall. We tried both the buffet restaurants as well as one of the à la carte restaurants. Both were unsatisfactory so we opted to go out for 5/7 dinners while we were there. The rooms were clean and offered everything we needed however they are dated and need some refurbishment.
