The weather is great, food is delicious, resort is comfortable and well laid out but it is the people that make the Dreams fantastic. We have been coming to the Dreams for many years and continue to see lots of familiar friendly faces. The people that work here obviously enjoy their jobs and it shows. We celebrated our 40th Anniversary while at the Dreams and Julio the Manager at the Portofino arranged a wonderful private meal for us and our friends. We were so happy with the meal and the celebration that we wanted to also thank the Chef. Julio brought out Rogelio the Dreams Sous Chef and we were able to thank him personally for the wonderful meal he prepared. Our favorite restaurant is the Italian (Portofino’s) due to the quality of the food, the atmosphere and the Spanish coffee to finish the meal off. The show that Julio puts on when he makes the Spanish coffee is spectacular and must be seen to be believed. The Himitsu is their Japanese restaurant and the food is very good with lots of selection. The manager Diego is very professional and goes above and beyond to ensure that you are taken care of and that all of your needs are met. Daniel and Neftali were frequently coming by to check on us and top off our wine. Every day we had breakfast at the World Café and always ate more than we should. Lazara has been making the omelets for many years and is a master at getting the eggs cooked to perfection. Rogelio Manages a great cast of servers including Feliciano, Carmelo, Lucia, Arturo, Oliva, Cecilia and Mario. Rogelio stopped to talk to us every day to see how we were doing and see if there was anything we needed or wanted. The infinity pools are so refreshing with great views of the ocean. Drink service around the pool starts between 10:00 and 10:30 and if you are lucky you will get Primi or Eddie as your server as they work so hard in the hot Huatulco sun. Even though they are busy they are happy to talk to you and make sure you have everything you need. Many of the resorts in Mexico have an issue with blackbirds flying around the restaurants contaminating the food. The Dreams Resort have brought in the service of Corsarios to deal with this issue. Tavo and his Harris Hawk Eagon patrol the grounds and scare away the unwanted blackbirds. It is fascinating to watch them at work. We have been to Huatulco numerous times but we come back to the Dreams because of all the wonderful people.

The most friendly and helpful staff I’ve experienced. Ivory question and request was answered quickly and with a smile. Be sure to vist my guys Galdino and Gabino at the Rendevous Bar!

Dreams vacation Huatulco so memorable!
Phenomenal resort with excellent food, no wrist bands, no need for dinner reservations - honestly, it was excellent! The staff beads over backwards to make the stay easy and most enjoyable. Variety of entertainment. Location exceptional. Beautiful clear water. 5 swimming pools and beach within a few steps. Great rooms, fantastic experiences! Loved our vacation!

Warm Get Away
We spent a week at Dreams Huatulco and enjoyed our time at this resort. Staff are amazing and resort is very well maintained as it is a bit older. Rooms were very clean and cleaning staff does a wonderful job. We chose the Preferred Club package and to be honest would not do that next time as we did not see as much value. We ate at the Italian restaurant Portofino most evenings and a special Thanks to the Maitre D'. Beach area and location are spectacular and you cannot ask for better weather, sunny and warm everyday.

It's our home away from home
We have been visiting this resort for over 11 years and we will continue to visit because of all the kind and caring people we have met that take such good care of us while we visit. Checking in with Fernando's warm welcoming smile at the concierge desk is always a great way to begin our stay. Everyday we have amazing service at the 6th floor lounge where Christina and Gresela always take great care of us. Ready with cold beers our morning Coffee and Mimosas! Heading out to the pool Sandy was so sweet and made sure we had all the accommodations we needed for the day. Big Thank you to Genaro from room service bringing us out bottle of champagne for the sunset each night. And of course the we can never thank Julio enough. He always goes above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Dinners were outstanding! Food was delicious all our favorite seafood dishes were on the table each night (thank you Julio) and also thank you to Jorge the restaurant manager. Special thank you to chef Rogelio preparing the food so deliciously and of course the great service from all the waiters throughout the week such as Felipe and Angel. The people and service we receive will continue to bring us back to our family at Dreams. Thank you for making it our home away from home.
