Nov 23, 2025How can one spoil a mojito?
The food is mediocre, and not great selection. Today no egg benefits and got an omelet with egg shells. No access to nice pieces of Oaxaca cheese. Why travel to Oaxaca if you cannot get some of this lovely cheese easily? Here now and was trying to connect to hospitality manager but no success to address the concerns . Not sure what’s going on but all drinks are not tasty… Food and drinks are below overall mexican all-inclusive standards, let alone Dreams. Poor tasting drinks in each and every bar :( And hit and miss food quality and selection. Most things are tasteless, and Mexican dinner yesterday (Saturday) felt like recycled food from the wedding day before :(

My husband and I went for our honey onion Nov 6-13 . When we entered the resort we were greeted with champagne . Our room was not extraordinary but it was clean and spacious . The house keeping cleaned our room twice a day . I did an incredible job every time. Two restaurants were closed while we were there which was a little disappointing. But honestly crap happens and I felt like there was a pretty good selection. The buffet was definitely the best in the morning. And with all inclusive, you’re not always gonna get great food every time . There was some hit and miss but we enjoyed the Italian specials , Mexican toco bar , and the Japanese restaurant the most ! Eddie pool side went beyond and above for us every day and was a complete angel . And furnando at concierge desk was one of the best customer service representatives. I had the pleasure of meeting.. every time he saw Colin and I he was so positive and had the biggest smile and helped us in every single way. He set up a wonderful breakfast in bed with the best eggs benny and French toast and mimosas I’ve ever had. We came back from dinner one day and there were rose Petals all over our bed and champagne . not to mention the beach has the best snorkelling and it’s right outside the pools overall experience I would rate it and nine out of 10 I definitely will be back. Thank you.!!

Dreams in November
The hotel is nice, we were there in early November, so just before the 'busy' season starts. So two restaurants and one bar were being refreshed, but they ultimately opened before we left. It's a resort, so we found the food to be very average and inconsistent. The rooms are large with good amenities, but our bed was a little old and we had a tendency to reconnect in the middle! There is a nice selection of pools, so that everyone can get what they want (adults only and active, Adults only and quiet, or 3 kid-friendly pools. The beach is wonderful, very beautiful, with good sand, and it is very safe for everyone, and very, very few beach sellers. We day tripped into the nearest town, and its nice but it is a very sleepy town with not a lot going on.

Loved it! Minus the food
We had a fabulous experience! We went through WestJet and went on a couple of excursions. The service at the resort was amazing (special thanks to Eddie and Primi!). The food wasn't great and most of the restaurants were closed, while the buffet kept us fed it wasn't the best. We will probably choose somewhere else next time due to the food, but the service was immaculate!

primarily a mexican spanish speaking resort
this is primarily a mexican spanish speaking resort and we don't speak spanish, this a not a negative is just what it is. we want on a snorkeling excursion and they only spoke spanish, i should've asked before hand, fortunately a private tour guide with another couple kept us informed. the mexican people and management were very nice. the entertainment is also in spanish. a number of english people come here because of the culture of the area. the hotel is very clean, the food was above average. the room was nice and the grounds were well kept. the biggest issue we had is there are no wristbands as a result you have to stand in line and give your room number and sometimes there are long lines. we did not have a drop of rain and there were no mosquitos and it was hot. the beach was granual sand and a nice walk although not flat and the sand is sometime very hot.
