Five Star Claims, Three Star Experience!
Five Star Claims, Three Star Experience! (French and Spanish to follow) Be careful with this hotel, especially if you are considering the Preferred Member option. Despite a surcharge of 500 USD per week, the experience is worse than in several regular areas. The stay feels like constant complaint management, not five star service. At this price, you should never have to ask for what is supposed to be included. I want to highlight the outstanding work of Melania, my butler, Lady, her manager, and Nelson, who is in charge of the Preferred section and cabanas. Melania and Lady were professional, kind, and fully committed in an impossible context. Nelson truly understands what five star service means. Present, attentive, respectful. He was a real gem and genuinely saved the end of my stay. The entire staff should be trained and managed according to his standards. Food quality is very poor across the resort. Staff lacks training and professionalism. Service becomes conditional on tipping, even in a so called VIP section. Wi-Fi was unstable for two weeks, in the room, on the beach, at the restaurant, and by the pool. In 2026, reliable internet should be a basic standard. At check-out, there was also an attempt to charge me more for services clearly listed and signed in USD, under the excuse that the exchange rate had changed. This practice is unacceptable. For reference, here is what a three star rating means in the Dominican Republic • Decent accommodation • Functional facilities • Mass produced food with no quality guarantee A three star rating does not guarantee good food, consistent service, or a coherent experience. My stay matches this definition, not that of a five star resort.

Great trip
Very accommodating for gluten free! I was able to ask for gluten free pancakes in the mornings. The staff offered to cook my meals in the back to reduce the cross contamination risk. The resort is a good size, not too big not too small. It's not a huge party resort, but was more party than we like. We had a safe and relaxing week.

Beautiful and fun stay on a lovely beach
We spent an amazing week at this resort the first week of February. Our favorite part of the grounds of the resort was the beautiful beach with stunning sand and turquoise water. Everyone treated us so well and we enjoyed everyday! The entertainment team was exceptional and kept us busy with fun activities throughout the day. Every person on the entertainment staff was so amazing. They blew me away with their energy and attention to detail. Domingo was such a great leader and his crew Ruddy, Adriana, Griselda, Nani, Yahiandra, Kaicol, Mario, Minimo, Joel, Blaky, Osito, Joker, Chocolate, Peluchito, Jerry, Rafi, Axel were easily the best part of this resort. The shows and dancing were above and beyond! We also enjoyed all the evening dining restaurants with the steaks at the Seaside Grill being the best food of the week!

Complete Relaxation
This was our first experience of all inclusive & this place is ultra A.I. With a choice of around 10 different à la cart places to eat. We had a “Preferred Club” suite which gave us access to even more, as well as exclusive areas on the beach & a separate pool area. For this holiday we wanted guaranteed weather & a week of complete R&R & this resort certainly did not disappoint. Food was pretty much exceptional in all outlets, staff were all super friendly the resort is immaculately clean & our suite was very comfortable with an enormous bed, good balcony & 2 50” TV’s. The bathroom was large with a decent shower, but was just starting to show signs of needing upgrading to maintain its 5* status. The beach was spotless & being the Caribbean side of the Dominican Republic, was very calm. Not having done this type of holiday before, it did feel a little manufactured, but for total relaxation it would be very hard to beat!
