    Trash Dreams Hyatt Resort Curacao

I’m currently at the Dream Hyatt Resort in Curacao to celebrate my best friend 50th anniversary. I am beyond disappointed. I am trying to check out. Unfortunately management is completely ignoring us. The rooms are dirty. The restaurants are dirty. .The bedding are unacceptable. The bathroom has mildew, not clean at all. and Absolutely no AC they placed a fan in the room without any explanation nor apologies and fire alarm not wiring in the bedroom. When trying to addressed concerns with management we are ignored. I give them a zero star. . Please do not waste your time nor money in this hell hole .

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

What can I say, it was a genuine disaster. The Staff are incredibly rude and just want tips. The 'staff' at the front desk spend all their time on their phones and do little else. David at the pool bar and the lady manager of the breakfast buffet were the only friendly people. The young men in the middle bar are rude and look at you with distain (unless you tip). Watson in particular was particularly rude and requires serious training. They have sales people all around the resort wanting you to become unlimited members and it is clear they just want your money. The rooms are old and hot with the AC not working. The list is endless and I will waste my time further discussing this horrible hotel. I am horrified I spent so much money visiting this place. Do not go there, save your money and go to a nicer hotel.

Very Bad Experience, Outdated and Understaffed

I have never written a review, but I must now. My friends and I visited from 10/10-10/14. As Preferred members, we were offered an upgrade to a suite, but it only had a King bed. They offered to roll in a cot for one of us - not an upgrade. We changed rooms THREE times before we were properly accommodated. The amenities and resort is VERY outdated. At one, point, they brought a huge fan to our room because the air conditioning was so poor. One friend had no ac for her entire stay. Two out of four restaurants were closed every night, that or they moved the seafood restaurant to the Steakhouse, closed the Steakhouse and offered the Italian food in the buffet area. Whaaat? There's no bar or food service at the pool and the beach is a small inlet. We also couldn't get food between 3p-6p because everything was closed. The staff did the best they could with the tools they had, but wow. Additional staff is also needed, there were 6 people sitting at the Activities desk, but no one bring food or drinks. Room service was hit or miss. The infinity pool is beautiful as are the people, but we will not be returning to this resort.

    Very dissatisfied !!!

Most of staff did not care if you were there or not. Seemed like they hated there jobs. A/C problems/ toilet issues, poor hospitality job, could not get towel items for days, Food just so so we out 3 nights to get a decent meal. I could go on and on. I will never visit this Dreams Curacao ever again. We are members of Unlimited Vacation club, and have been for 12 year, and book through them for all of our trips, and have only good things to say about this group. They did receive my feedback and were concerned about our stay I want to see where it goes.

A Dream Turned Into a Nightmare

I recently visited Dreams Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino as part of a group stay (four rooms) from October 12 to 17, 2025, where we booked four Preferred Club Ocean View rooms. While the setting of the resort is beautiful and several staff members, including Ziad and Sharloonety, were friendly and did their best to help, there were multiple issues that affected the quality of the stay. The air conditioning in all four rooms did not function properly, even when set to 60°F, and the rooms remained hot and muggy throughout the day and night. Fans were provided, but they offered minimal relief. They tried to move our rooms but still to no avail, the same issues exist regarding the air not working and the conditions in the bathroom were subpar. In addition to the cooling issues, the rooms had signs of wear such as leaking ceilings, rusted tiles, mold, and broken fixtures. It’s worth noting that we were not the only guests experiencing these issues, as others at the property mentioned similar concerns during our stay. Staff frequently asked how the air in the room was, suggesting it’s a known issue. While the team was responsive and courteous, the resort appears to have significant maintenance problems that should be addressed. If you are considering booking here, I would recommend confirming the status of room renovations and HVAC repairs beforehand. My experience at other resorts under the same brand has been much better, so I hope to see improvements at this location in the future.
