  Hyatt Have Improved Dreams!

  Enjoyed our 10th vacation at Dreams this past week. Hyatt have made several improvements since taking over about 2 years ago. Many of the same friendly and attentive staff. Restaurant variety has been expanded and quality improved. It's all about expectations going to any resort. Dreams has always been good value for us and we plan to return later this year.

  DREAMY experience for our 25th wedding anniversary!

  Our stay at Dreams in the Il Mare/Preferred Club was amazing. The villas are so unique and we loved the peaceful adults only side of the resort. The butler service is amazing, which such friendly staff serving every need! Food was fantastic with lots of options. Great bar service and overall a very clean and wonderful resort. We'd go back!!

  Overall, positive experience, but would not return

  Rooms: Our room on the 5th floor was a King Preferred Club room. The room and bathroom were clean, and housekeeping was daily and good. The minibar was stocked with soda, water, and beer, but no snacks. Our shower didn’t have any water coming out on morning, so I couldn’t take a shower before our excursion. It was fixed by the time we returned from our excursion, so I am not sure how long it took. We went to the Il Mare adult only section one day with friends. It had a much nicer pool, drinks served in actual glasses, and better tasting drinks. If it’s not too expensive, it would have been worth the upgrade. Food: The Preferred area breakfast by the beach was good! There was no staff there our first morning. Maybe we were too early, but the hostess from the cafe sent us there. There are cars there, but they didn’t bother us. There are birds if you eat in the cafe because it’s open air, but they didn’t bother either. It was nice to have a burger or nachos by the pool as a mid afternoon snack since we skipped lunch. Nothing fancy, but it tasted alright. The restaurants are not open every night. The food at the Italian and Seafood restaurants were good. Nothing special, but not bad. We wish there were somewhere to get snacks or ice cream after dinner. There was ice cream in the gift shop we found out toward the end may have been free, but we were never told and did not verify. The servers were polite, but certainly wouldn’t go out of their way to be helpful. No one at the resort seemed to tip much. Beach: The resort has a small, but clean beach with crystal clear water that was pretty calm, even on windy days. No seaweed. We were told snorkeling gear was free for the first hour, but didn’t try it. Pool: The pool was nice with a great view. People lay out towels on the chairs starting early in the morning, but we were always able to find seats. There is very limited service pool side, so expect to walk to the bar for drinks. They are close. Drinks are served in small disposable plastic glasses, and drinks were not as good as most other resorts we have been to. The pool plays loud music until 10pm that can be heard clearly from the rooms. Location: It is less than a 20 minute drive to the airport.

  Excellent stay at Dreams Curacao!!

  We had a wonderful stay at Dreams Curacao! The resort is the perfect size, not too big and snot too small. The staff were amazing, very attentive to the needs of the guests. The E Team was stellar and created a fun but not hectic environment, the perfect mix of optional activities as well as relaxation time. The food options were excellent, we especially loved all of the open air dining options such as th seafood restaurant on the water and Italian restaurant. It was amazing to be able to snorkel and see tons of fish right off the beach!! We will be back for sure!!

  Dreams Curacao - fine time.

  Dreams Curacao was fine. It wasn't 5 Star as listed. The staff was great, professional, and courteous. The pool and the beach were great. The rooms, however, were like 1970's Motel rooms with rust, mold etc . . . The food was fine . . . but not 5 Star. Coming from the Northeast, Mahi Mahi is a treat. However, it was the only fish served at the 3 restaurants for 8 straight nights. The napkins were diner paper napkins, Most of the food was over seasoned. 5 Star ratings are in the details . . . and Dreams lacked many of those important details. But, it was fine - nice vacation - but not 5 Star.
