Nov 13, 2025Disappointing Stay – Only the Preferred Lounge Staff Stood Out
My stay at Dreams Curaçao was unfortunately very disappointing. The resort feels old and dated, and our room had no working air conditioning. We were only given a fan, which did very little in the Curaçao heat. This made the entire stay uncomfortable, especially at night. The food throughout the resort was also below expectations, and my partner and I ended up sick for three days during our trip. Between the lack of air conditioning, the poor food quality, and getting sick, the experience fell far short of what we anticipated from a Dreams-branded property. The only truly positive part of our stay was the staff in the Preferred Lounge. They were consistently kind, attentive, and professional. They were the one bright spot in an otherwise disappointing resort experience. I hope to see improvements in the future, but based on this visit, I would not return.

1 Star - Very dissatisfied, possible 0 rating!!!
Extremely Disappointing Stay at Dreams Curaçao I’m extremely disappointed with my stay at Dreams Curaçao. The resort is completely outdated and the air conditioning does not work in all the rooms — something management tries to pass off as a “new issue.” However, after speaking with other guests and reading recent reviews, it’s clear the AC system has been broken for over a year. We paid for a luxury resort experience and instead were given hot, uncomfortable rooms with no proper airflow in Curaçao’s tropical heat. Management and staff offered no real assistance or solutions, only empty apologies and vague statements about “working on it.” No room changes, no compensation, no updates — just complete indifference. It’s unacceptable for a resort under the Hyatt brand to operate in such poor condition and to mislead guests about long-standing problems. If you value comfort, honesty, and good customer service, I’d strongly suggest staying elsewhere until they actually fix these issues.

Worse birthday/girls trip
Horrible experience and would not recommend. The air went out, the hallway and room smelled like mold, the bathroom in the room wasn't kept.

Nov 10, 2025Curacao Yes- Dreams Resort - No
Curacao is a wonderful island with beautiful beaches and fun snorkeling on the west side with easy in and out ocean access. Dreams resort main tower was very lacking with dirty walls, vents and ceilings, sagging bed with lots of noise from the springs, swollen bathroom door that wouldn’t close, hard water staining on glass and where water leaks outside of shower surround, refurbished sink countertop with splattered paint, rotted baseboards and door trim. Go to Curacao but I’d avoid this resort until after it’s updated. They have some pod units that I believe are nice but didn’t see interior.
