Aug 24, 2025Dreams Curacao Vacation - August 2025
The location of the resort, spa, excursion around the city, UVC concierge (Valentina) and the weather were about the only positives that were experienced out of this 4 night, vacation. The biggest flaw that the resort lacks is Service. We had issues with service at the bars, restaurants, housekeeping, room service, and with people answering the phones. Unfortunately, the issues weren't just here and there or only occurred once, they occurred every single day. I was very disappointed in this stay as guest, and even more so as a UVC member. When speaking with management regarding the issues, no accountability or apology was made. Instead, excuses were made after everything that was said from my party of 4, including myself. The manger offered to make it right by including future free stays at the property however, why would I want to stay at the property after a dissatisfying experience? If the resort is going to remain open and operating, they really need to up their service for ALL of their guests, especially for the UVC members that pay a lot of money!

The location is the best part of this resort. The pods are a very cool idea, but the service is what makes it tough to give more than three stars. The restaurants were very slow with limited menus. The butler service left a lot to be desired.

Overall my experience was great. I was concerned based on ratings and reviews I saw online so I knew not to expect a 4 or 5 star resort, however, I rated a 4 due to the friendliness of the staff, the pool, the bars, and the activities. The hotel is in a desperate need of an update but overall everything worked and we spent so much time at the beach and pool the condition of the hotel wasn't high on my priority list. The food was good and always available somewhere, which was fantastic for my toddler. The bars were great, lots of drink choices! I would visit this resort again with my family.

Il Mare was amazing!!! Food, Drinks, and service was all top-notch!!! If you are kind to them, they will be kind to you!!!! The butlers were amazing!!!

Beautiful resort. Service needs improvement.
Communication with the staff and their responsiveness needs to be greatly improved. They use WhatsApp and a group chat for communicating with the butler, housekeeping, and in-room dining. 3 times I ordered breakfast for in-room dining and it came at the requested time once. The other 2 times it came over 1 hour late after multiple reminders. The resort is beautiful, but service needs work. And food variety could be improved.
