    Save your money

    Stay away. Rooms are outdated and not cleaned well. Food is bad. There is only one good restaurant - portofino. There is no advantage to being preferred club unless you stay at the pod type rooms. They are not worth the money as this resort has nothing else to offer. The chairs at the main pool are all broken. Saw no one at the kids pool and it was not maintained. Might as well make this into another normal pool. The beach is small. The clientele was worse than expected. I have stayed at several dreams/secrets resorts before and this one was by far the worst.

    Perfect for a Caribbean Adventure

    Hotel is run down, hotel staff is often unhelpful. There is not enough variety in the food for a full week, you will need to go off the resort to eat the local food, which is a great experience so maybe that is by design. They don’t expect you to spend all your time at the resort and you should not.

    Unfortunate Experience at Dreams Curacao

    I would not recommend this hotel. The hotel is very run down and not maintained at all. by the pool area, the lounge chairs and cabanas were filthy. The cushions all had stains, debris and rips. Most were so worn out that you sunk into them upon laying down. There was mildew on the umbrellas and the beach towels provided also wreaked of mildew. The wooden pathways had multiple loose panels that posed a trip and fall hazard as well. In my room, the floors had sand left over I assume from the previous guest, there was soap scum on the shower doors and walls and paint chipping on the wall walls around the room. The food was horrible all around. There were birds and flies all around the food staging areas , and they were landing on the food and beverage containers. Thr hotel did nothing to try and prevent any contamination of the food. I even witnessed a guest use her own fork off of her plate to place food back into one of the containers while a crew. Member stood and watched. He didn’t remove the food she put back or the container holding the rest of the food. The food selection was terrible and there was no variety. I would never stay here again if it was free.

    Bday trip

    Great resort, the bungalows were awesome and the service was pretty good…. Would definitely recommend! You have access to the sisters resorts as well which gives you a great opportunity to sample out all 3, staff friendly and attentive to guests!

    Not a typical Dreams experience

    The price and experience are not worth it. This is not a representation of a Dreams hotel . Needs a renovation , updated furniture pieces, cleaning , and hospitality training . Experience with family was great . excursion for sunset cruise was good time and crew was amazing. Hotel experience lacking.
