    Hotel-yes, food- no!! All inclusive?!?!

We have come here for the last 4 years, but sadly the restaurant situation was bad last year, and even worse this year. We come from Dec 27-Jan 3 and even though they advertise 7 restaurants, there are only 4, and this trip every day only one- maybe 2 restaurants were even open. The wait times were hours long, and you can't make any reservations unless you are a preferred member. Horrible management. They couldn't even tell you what restaurants would be open from one day to the next. You expect more from an All-inclusive, but maybe they feel 'you can eat, just not when you want...' Nice hotel, but we probably won't be back.

    DUSHI

Our trip consisted of 8 family members. Naturally, before I went I read the reviews and was extremely cautious about going to Dreams. I have to admit I was deeply impressed and there were a few cliches checking in but after that, the rest was wonderful . The staff, extremely friendly and helpful. Zahir, Victor, Juune, Farjene to just name a few are AWESOME! The food was plentiful and a vast majority to choose from. The grounds were clean and the shows were decent and entertaining. The tour by Blue Finn to Klein Curacao was one of the best tours ever! The trip into the city was beautiful, all lite up with Christmas lights and decorations. The adults only pool was so relaxing and the preferred club had a few good perks too. This is definitely not a 5 star resort but for your money it was well worth it. Please remember KINDNESS And THOUGHTFULNESS goes along way and you are visiting them in their country.

    Disappointing Vacation.

I had booked preferred status to treat myself to 5 days vacation in a 5 star resort. Well the club status (preferred guest) is a complete joke. No member of staff pays attention to it fully. First impressions count, and Dreams failed miserably. The check in was a complete disaster. There was no meet and greet, I was told to wait in the lobby for 2 mins. I ended up standing there for 10 mins while the lady was in a private conversation. Then someone wnet be hind the check in desk to get me assistance. The first lady reappeared and started to check me in. I offered my Reservation number, but it was refused. Then she discovered I should be checking in at the club lounge being a "preferred Guest, total nonsense" If there was a meet and greet then I would have been directed there in the first place. The whole vacation went downhill from there and I feel I wasted my hard earned Dollars for a treat to myself. The service in the restaurants was poor, food mediocre. Attention of staff generally poor. The housekeeping was very good however. Always cleaned properly and things left as they should be. This is NOT a 5 star resort. 2 star Max. Rooms are outdated and tired. draws hard to open. Loud music at night right below the "preferred guest" rooms. I could go on and on. Needless to say very disappointed . maybe my mistake for travelling alone to a family resort.

    Small but relaxing

The resort is small and relaxed, so if you are looking for resort nightlife and coordinated activities, this is not the one for you. The town nightlife is great, so if you want dance clubs and bars, you have to head into town. Overall, the resort staff is respectful, but not as attentive as on other islands. This is due to a few factors, one of which I believe is that they don’t work for tips, as their minimum wage is higher than other Caribbean islands. So there is little hustle to get your drink quickly or provide amenities quickly. We asked for extra pillows and never got them. The rooms are clean, but a little dated. There aren’t a lot of outlets for charging all the electronics people have. Room service and the restaurants were often out of food listed on the menus and room service changed things out without warning a few times. Room service also takes a very long time. The food is good overall. Again, it is a small resort so there are only three restaurants in addition to the buffet, but they have good variety. Lines start to form a half hour before the Italian place opens, and wait times quickly grow to over an hour, so be prepared to put your name in and head to the bar for a drink. The gym is spacious. Coco cafe could have more options and ran out of ice cream most days by 6pm. The beach is small and rocky, but once you get out past the rocks, the water is gorgeous. There is only one adult pool and one kiddie pool, but both were never crowded. We stayed 4 nights and that was plenty.
