High quality food/drink and service
This was a fantastic trip with high quality food, drink, and service. Luz and Raul were particularly great. Even though there were many guests, we were always made to feel special. Having access to three resorts along a beautiful coastline was amazing and there were many available activities on and off the resort. Overall, I would highly recommend!!

Overall A Fun Time At Dreams Cozumel
his was my second trip to Dreams Cozumel (my wife's first) staying in a swim out room both times. I know these reviews cover a lot of things, so I'll try to hit what really stood out to us. Pros - The swimout rooms are great with an amazing view of the beach where you can watch the sunset. - Depending on what swimout room you're in, you can feel like you're on display with folks walking right past the pool. While pretty much right on the beach, you have a pathway with folks constantly walking between you and the beach. - The food is fine, nothing earth shattering, but still some very tasty dishes. Our favorites were the fish tacos and Ceviche at Oceana for lunch. Desserts are just okay as well, but the Ice Cream is AMAZING! By far the best dessert there (all flavors are great Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry). The trick is knowing where to find it. Some of the restaurants have it on the menu, but the main place to get it is the coffee shops (there's one at each resort). - The coffee art is fantastic. Will include one in the pics. - Apparently there's some great snorkeling right there at the resort (we didn' bring or buy any equipment tho). Just walking in the water we saw sting rays and barracuda along with tons of fish. - We didn't have many of the issues that other reviews have mentioned like getting a towel, finding a beach chair or having the room cleaned. Everything on that end was just fine. Cons - Secrets can be a big maze and tough to find some of the places. We wondered why Secrets isn't the family area with swim out slides and have Dreams be the adult version. - I guess it all depends on the time of year, but the entertainment team struggled to get folks to do things some days like volleyball (I've always enjoyed pool volleyball). It was certainly a slower period than being there in summer. Not blaming anyone for this, just passing it along for anyone that might have the same interests. - No food on the beach at Secrets. Would've been nice to have a snack brought to us along with the drinks. - Walls are thin and you can definitely hear what's happening in the room next to you as well as the hallways. - They need to have an app that will tell you what's happening at all three resorts so you know if there's something you'd like to do. Unfortunately you have to log out of one app, open another and see what's going on and then log out and open another to see if there's anything interesting happening. I'm sure there are several events we missed out on since we had no idea they were going on. - Drinks were fine for the most part. Some bars will have certain liquors and others won't. Some bartenders are way better than others (as the exact same drink could vary depending on who made it), just depends on the day I guess. My wife did have one night where she doesn't remember things and that never happens to her. We don't really know what happened (and she wasn't pounding them down either), but it bothered her very much. - I wouldn't recommend this resort if you need wheelchair accessibility, it would just be quite a lot to get around. - We tried to do a snorkeling trip, but we were contacted saying the port had been closed. We still saw tons and tons of boats going by, so that didn't make a lot of sense to us. So unfortunately we didn't do any snorkeling while there but tons of boats stopped not far from the resort and you could see plenty of snorkelers out checking things out. Guess just all depends on the weather/winds for the day. - The beach is beautiful but can be very rocky, so I'd recommend water shoes if you have them. There's a small path to avoid rocks not far from the Tortuga swing bar at the middle resort if you want to wade out that way. - The mosquitos are out in force, so we'd definitely recommend bug spray and drink spicy drinks or have spicy food (they don't seem to be a fan of that). - The walkway between the resorts has trip hazards and some smooth stones that make slipping very easy (especially with wet shoes). Thankfully we never fell, but could see how that could go bad quickly. Staff members that really stood out to us (and apologies to those names I can't remember) - Oscar - at Secrets - absolutely terrific server at Oceana restaurant. He was very attentive, had the food out very quickly and made an incredible passion fruit margarita for us right there at the table. - Guadencio - at Dreams - by far our favorite bartender the entire time we were there. He was at the Sugar Reef bar one afternoon. His attentiveness and by far the best Spicy Margaritas at the resort were beyond top notch. - Irving - at Dreams - was always checking on us and even provided us with cool towels each day. Was a nice touch after being in the sun all day. - Wendy / Miguel - Dreams/Secrets - both of these fine folks took great care of us each day we were on the beach (both at Dreams and later in the week Secrets). They did a wonderful job making sure we had whatever we needed. - Guadalupe - Secrets Spa - masseuse for my wife's amazing massage she got while we were at the resort. She said it extremely relaxing and very well done. - Raul / Luz - Secrets - both of these fine folks were on the entertainment team and when we did get enough folks for an activity, both were lively and fun, making sure everyone had a good time. Raul even showed off his karaoke skills one evening. - Samuel - Dreams - we had some issues when checking in and it kept getting delayed which was getting me more and more frustrated. Samuel took matters into his own hands to make sure things finally got done and us into our swimout room and even offered my wife a massage on the house for the trouble. While yes, mistakes happen and frustrations occur, I always appreciate someone saying let me help make this right and get your vacation back on track. Excellent work Samuel.

Fabulous time with amazing vegan food
Wow… what a fabulous time we have had at Dreams in Cozumel. As we arrived here we said when we checked in we were vegan and straight away the lady dealing with us went to speak to the executive chef. He and his team came to speak to us about what we could eat and said that they would sort dishes for us at all of the restaurants. You can eat here as preferred guests at all three hotels (Dreams, Sunscapes and Secrets). Secrets was adult only so we did enjoy staying around the pool here during the day and Gohan did some fabulous food for our diet. At Dreams our favourite restaurant was the Pizzeria and we got to the point we would go there and ask them to surprise us with food and we would leave it to them to decide what to make us… they did not disappoint and the variety offered to us was second to none. We are still in the hotel as I write this (we leave tomorrow) but our last meal here they made so special. It makes us so sad to leave. I would like to mention in particular Garni and Luis who waited on us and made us laugh a lot, the lovely hostess Aurora and the very talented chef Jose Luis Caballero. He made us a vegan steak (apparently with beans and mushrooms) … the most convincing steak we have ever had! There were many others who cooked for us, waited on us throughout the hotel and really looked after us whose names we don’t know but we are so grateful to you all for making our stay as perfect as it was. Thank you 🙏

Ladies relaxing week at Dreams Cozumel
My friend and I spent a week at Dreams Cozumel and as stated by others, as preferred guests, you have access to all three properties. As we had planned a relaxing holiday, we spent most of our time eating, drinking, sun bathing and reading. Once we discovered the preferred pool, we were in serenity without the noise of children enjoying their holiday. (Thanks Marguerito/Moses for putting up with us afternoon drinkers and our song requests - Jelly Roll!) It did not bother us much that the nightly entertainment wasn't much to write about. If you are looking for a party atmosphere, this is not the place. The Sky lounge at Secrets was good and provided a variety of entertainment and we met, danced and socialized with many people. All the restaurants were good, some better than others, but all with amazing views and ambiance. Olio was my favorite (tuna was excellent), Oceana was really good (best Mexican breakfast ever) with the Pizzeria coming in 3rd place with their fresh ingredients. We did not order room service as we never needed to wait for seating anywhere and walked a short distance to the Cafe every morning for a great Latte or Americano (they do have a Nespresso in the room but Cafe much better). They even brought you drinks/snacks/light meals when by the pool or beach. As we are in our 50s and feeling lazy, we did take the golf cart to and from Secrets a couple of times. (Thanks Oswald , XX and Rudy for putting up with us and our antics). The service was excellent! On the first morning by the pool, we were introduced to Moses who is a hotel concierge and is there to ensure that everything is good with your room and your stay. We told him that our air conditioner was pretty loud and with a quick note in his Ipad was able to get it fixed that day. Moses was around every day for whatever we needed. The best marguerita I had was made by Jesus at the Dreams pool swim up bar. Since we were there to relax, we were excited about doing the hydrotherapy circuit which was free for your first visit as a preferred guest. It was so great, that we returned and also had a massage. Totally worth it! My only regret is to not have gone snorkeling or bring water shoes. The stories I heard from the snorkeling excursions was that it was something that they had never seen before. A big variety of sea life, brilliant colors and white sand pristine beaches. Will definitely return and do this again.

Spring Break- Easter Vacation
Overall a good experience. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Given we went during the Easter holiday, they did an exceptional job with the activities, and setting up a beautiful dinner on the beach with the Easter bunny! The rooms were nicely appointed and comfortable. If they could update a couple things such as the menu,/drinks and refresh a couple areas,...I could certainly see us coming back.
