Sadly overall it was a let down... While the staff were friendly with some going above and beyond. The hotel is old and it shows. The rooms smelt of mildew and were extremely dark. The pullout sofa is very uncomfortable and more like a futon. The pools are small and the hot tub/jacuzzi are not hot! The beach is nothing special and because of the location it had a strong fish smell. No-one was willing to swim and the water sports are limited and hard to find. Lastly, the activities are very repetitive and nothing special. For the cost and the 5 star rating, I was expecting a much nicer experience.

Amazing experience so much fun!!! We had a huge room and everything was beautiful! Abigail was so fun at the pool our girls loved her! Housekeeping was great, every employee made our experience so good!

Excellent Team Work with Daily Activities/ Children’s Entertainment
Itzyana, Uriel, Abigail, and Edwin - excellent team work for nightly family activities. Edwin went above and beyond for my children’s entertainment. Great sense of humour and lots of patience. My children’s absolute favourite entertainer and activities enthusiast is Abigail. Overall, favourite for children’s activities and water aerobics in the activities pool daily. She ensured my children were entertained and had the best time each and everyday. Highly recommend getting to know Abigail, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing stay
We stayed in Dreams Aventura for new years and it was one of the most amazing weekends we have had in a while. The entertainment for the kids was amazing especially from Christian who was an amazing entertainer and the kids adored him. The food is amazing especially the buffet and all in all an amazing trip and definitely recommend to couples, families and any type of people.

Great family vacation
Amazing service and staff. Food is good and what you would expect from an all inclusive resort. Resort is clean and safe. Beach may not be everyone’s favorite but if you have small kids, it’s perfect. We have come two years in a row for the family atmosphere. We have three generations traveling and it is perfect for all ages.
