  Exceptional service and fun in Paradise

  This was our second time visiting the Dreams Macao Beach resort and we were NOT disappointed! We came back because of the excellence we experience during our first visit. The staff is what really brought us back. Everything was seamless from the moment we arrived through to check out. Our stay was 8 days and I was accompanied by my husband, two teenagers, and my parents. Though we didn’t use the teen club, both my kids were entertained and had an excellent experience. The entertainment staff worked tirelessly to keep us engaged in a variety of activities including beach volleyball, yoga, Zumba, water aerobics, dancing and Spanish lessons, obstacle courses, beach activities and so much more. The entertainment crew was exceptional with special mention to Baby Face, Victor, Diana, LeBron James, Diamond, and William. We came back for Baby face and Victor and we were so pleased that they remembered us from our visit in August 2023. There is so much to do at the resort. They have a well equipped sports centre with tennis courts and a basketball court. We didn’t go to the gym or spa during our stay, but I’m sure they live up to the excellent standards of the rest of the resort. For an additional fee, we got a pass allowing us to access the arcade, bowling alley, rock climbing and zip lining. The arcade and bowling were the perfect way to keep entertained after dinner while waiting for the night time shows. The shows were great and included a good variety. The grounds and hotel were clean, well maintained, and safe. My daughter has special needs and the entertainment staff fell in love with her, allowing us to give her a bit more independence as we knew many people were helping to keep a kind and watchful eye on her. The beach was beautiful, and though we weren’t able to make it into the ocean as much as I’d have liked (due to really bad undertow and dangerous conditions), when we did get to go in it was clean and refreshing. The beach area was clean and well cared for. The lifeguards and security were all knowledgeable and up to date on weather and sea conditions. The lifeguards guards were helpful in providing tips for safety. We came back to this resort a second time hoping to surf (as we used the surf school adjacent to the hotel last time we came in 2023), but the water was too choppy and dangerous for surfing this time around… I guess we’ll just have to come back again to get our surf on. The food and drinks were delicious. we ate at the main buffet for breakfast each day and also had lunch there everyday. The buffet included a number of different stations, including fresh fish, pasta, hot grill, crepes, eggs etc. Plenty of fresh fruits and local dishes. I found there was a good number of gluten free options as well. Fransisco, Alexandra and Ruth were all lovely and especially attentive. There was a good variety of a la carte restaurants for dinner. We ate at a different restaurant each night and managed to visit each one during our stay. At each restaurant the service was great with friendly staff. Each restaurant also had a good variety of options. At Himitsu, the Asian inspired restaurant we were well entertained at the hibachi table. Richard was our cook and Juan Carlos was our server. Together they created an experience that was fun and entertaining. In terms of swimming there are a number of different pools (5 that I could count). Two sections were adults only. There is also a water park with 7 different water slides and a lazy river. There is also a splash pad/wading pool for families with younger kids. Each pool had the presence of lifeguards and the lifeguard, Elias, was so incredible. He remembered both our children’s names from our visit 2 years ago. While at the pools here are plenty of staff checking in to see if drinks are needed. They were prompt in getting orders processed. There are so many people worth mentioning but that would be impossible. Overall the kindness and attentiveness of the staff is what brought us back. They made us feel like family during our stay! We can’t wait to come back soon!!

  Overachieving

  Never knew what to expect with AI but overall the hotel exceeded expectations. Food was much better than expected and good drinks selection, can’t beat a coco loco by the pool. It’s all about the staff at these places and the whole team made the family feel really welcome. Would recommend.

  Fantastic Resort!

  What a beautiful resort! Our family had such a great time! Service, people, entertainment and overall experience was fantastic! Victor, Diamond, Johnny Bravo, Tairis, Baby Face, LeBron, William Lindura, Happinees were all so wonderful and made our stay more fun! In fact, the entire staff and entertainment was wonderful!

  a wonderful time

  Great experience, the only complaint was the check-in and OUT need more than one person checking in. The restaurants were good, but they needed a traditional Dominican restaurant. the entertainment was good; I would have also added Traditional Dominican Shows. Very clean and the Staff is awesome, Friendly, and fun. Overall, I would return without a doubt. ,

  The resort is pretty and comfortable. The pools and activities are great . The entertainment personnel goes above and beyond to accomplish their mission (Victor, Johnny, Tahiris, Baby face, Diamond , Diana, William, Kenny, Zoe, LeBron, Dora, Summer, Happiness) Great food and ambiance. Highly recommend this resort.
