Things to Know

  • This Aruba resort is set amid the gorgeous tropical landscaping that's part of the golf course and just two minutes from a world-class beach!
Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort is the 2020 Noble Beach Prize winner for The Bombest Bar! Escape to this resort where you'll find a majestic Caribbean coastline awash with turquoise waters spilling onto ivory sands and great links golf.

The Links are a tropically landscaped, nine-hole golf course surrounding this resort. Designed by Litten & Viola, the course surrounds 240 luxurious suites known as the Golf Villas. The clubhouse sports a pro-shop, a water-view lounge and two gourmet restaurants including Mulligan's Bar & Restaurant, an open-air terrace encompassed by a waterfall and The Windows on Aruba, a glass-encased, contemporary affair with full views of the ocean from its circular dining room with a two-story, elevated atrium. Should you need to polish your game before tee-off, the clubhouse offers professional instruction for individuals and groups.

The resort is nestled just across the way from Palm Beach, as well as legendary Druif Beach. Guests can escape to the pristine sands for their shaded R & R, or take advantage of the water sports center, De Palm Tours, where you can find catamarans, rafts, windsurfing lessons and snorkeling excursions. Experienced scuba divers enjoy amazing opportunities here, including wall-diving, reef diving and wreck diving. While the saltwater dogs get their fix, the freshwater enthusiasts can get theirs at one of two freshwater pools and poolside restaurant and bar, Seabreeze.

And while woods and irons keep you in the green during daylight hours, it's the ringing of the slots that will keep you up all night when you take advantage of resort's complimentary transportation to nearby Alhambra Casino. Whether you win big or not, a spacious suite at The Golf Villas, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, spiral staircase and rooftop whirlpool tub, is a wonderful choice for your stay in Aruba. And if Lady Luck smiles, just add another week to your stay!

    Expected better

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Divi Golf, and our 5th stay at a Divi resort. Staff was in general helpful - everyone wore masks, even the workers not in contact with guests, for example the guys trimming the bushes, etc. Some of the details for experiencing the resort reopening seemed uneven. There was no information given as to which restaurants at any of the Divi resorts were closed or had reduced hours, or that the entire Tamarijn is closed. Staff at Infinity Bar seemed intent on closing as fast as possible once 5:30 rolled around. Enrique was the best bartender there, the rest were mediocre. Windows on Aruba was closed. Even though Divi was giving $52 pp All-Inclusive to paying guests, RCI guests were still expected to pay $140. We elected not to, and considering the lack of restaurants and other services usually available with the AI, I think even the $52 pp is not worth the cost. Pool area cleaning was very limited at Infinity. Small tables between chairs were not cleaned at all as far as we could tell, and unlike the beach at Phoenix when we visited, the recliners were not cleaned before or between gusts' use. The pool deck area also collected dirt over days and appeared not to be getting washed or even rinsed. The resort was probably at 10% occupancy, at best. Most mornings the whole pool area was deserted until 10:00, as was the beach.

    COVID-19 disappointment

So boyfriend and I were due to come here on March 28th for my 30th birthday. Due to covid our plans were out on hold. My boyfriend had my two gifts shipped to the resort to be given to me at dinner. He also had an engraved bottle of champagne. When we called the resort the same week our flight was canceled “Ana” stated she would have my gifts $1,700 worth sent back to me along with the bottle. It is now June 25th. Ana doesn’t reply to our emails or phone calls. Not once since our last promise to ensure we’d receive our items. There’s a call center in NC that’s been answering for them. We were recently told now the package room is empty and none of my packages are there anymore aka someone stole them. So now we had to contact our banks and have them investigate to have our money back for my gifts but they couldn’t for the champagne bottle that was $200. What a terrible resort that couldn’t ensure items worth a few thousand dollars were safe nor kept their promise to send it back. Its been almost three months and still no contact. I would not go here ever, how can this resort be trusted.

Great Resort - we love it

We visit Divi each year and love it. We are considering buying a timeshare. It is in Divi Village, unit 6303. We think it has a view of the beach/ocean but we would like to confirm this. Is it possible for Divi or a guest to send us a picture of the view from 6303? This would be appreciated, if a picture is not possible, can Divi management please confirm that this unit has a view of the beach/ocean. Kind regards. Don and Andrea

    Really wonderful and relaxing

This is a favorite beach resort. Over the past year they have done remolding and updating to the front lobby and some public areas. They are beautiful. They have added lovely picnic areas that are cleaned daily. They have BBQ units and picnic tables. Every time I go restaurants on the property have been updated and menus changed. The beach area is clean and lovely. I see the same staff members every time I visit. They are welcoming and genuinely happy to see you. The casino is walking distance. I have been going to this resort for over 20 years and every visit has been a positive experience. They have four pools and a lovely golf course. This resort is perfect for a family gathering as there is something for everyone.

Nice Resort - Room was okay

The resort and Aruba are beautiful! The beach area near the resort was absolutely gorgeous!! The restaurants near by were very good, and the golf course was spectacular!! It was nice to have a big gym to workout at every morning right across the street with an ocean view!! The room at our resort though could have been alot better. We weren't happy we were in, I am assuming, was one of the older buildings (because we weren't owners and exchanged our points). The room was clean but we were on the 3rd floor with no elevator! Our room wasn't cleaned very regularly and we had to call down regularly for towels and toilet paper. We didn't have in-suite laundry and the laundry machines were really crappy and got our clothes dirtier after I washed them. Overall we would go back to Aruba but would try to stay at another resort if we had a choice.
