What We Love

  • The resort seems fresh and new because of its recent expansion. A huge free-form pool and 140 luxury suites are two reasons not to miss this one.

Things to Know

  • The new luxury suites can't be beat at this resort. Aruba, Palm Beach and shared privileges with the other Divi resorts set this one apart.
A steady breeze off the placid sea refreshes you. From your chaise lounge, you gaze down the brilliant white stretch of renowned Palm Beach in front of the all-suite resort. Everything is perfect. From year-round temperatures in the 80s to the steady breeze, and from sugar white sand to the blue water, this is a piece of heaven on earth.

Perhaps sand and surf aren't your things. No worries. A recent hotel expansion includes a new free-form pool with a swim-up bar. Once you've got your ice-cold Blue Bayou or banana daiquiri, get out of the pool and slip into the large Jacuzzi nearby.

Dusk is a great time to enjoy a romantic dinner with your true love, especially at Sunset Beach Bistro. Tables on the beach are set among palm trees wrapped with twinkling lights. Start with a puff pastry filled with warm brie, then move on to potato-crusted grouper. Palmera rum sauce on the Arubian cashew cake is the perfect finish to a great meal.

Reliable trade winds make Aruba a great destination for windsurfing. If that's your sport, launch your rig from Palm Beach, right in front of the resort. The crystal-clear water is also great for snorkeling and diving. As a guest of the resort, you can choose from a remarkable array of activities at its five properties in Aruba. Hit the links or attend a tennis clinic. Just ask the full-service concierge.

Four new towers at the resort's sister property provide unparalleled comfort. Top-of-the-line kitchens in these 140 luxury suites are equipped with stainless-steel appliances and granite countertops. Enjoy flat-screen TVs with DVD players while surrounded by tasteful modern decor.

Be sure to visit the National Archaeological Museum Aruba during your stay on the island. Directly across the street from your hotel is the Bubali Bird Sanctuary, where you can spot Caribbean coots, blue-winged teals and other distinctive tropical birds.

    Makes an Enjoyable Trip

My family and I have stayed at this hotel every January for the past fifteen years. We could not be happier with the location, private beach, clean rooms, and many activities. There are plenty of things for guests of all ages to enjoy. We love how close to the beach the hotel is. We switch between the pool and the beach all day and have never felt the need to leave the hotel. The pool bar even makes virgin drinks for kids. We like how the Divi Phoenix is at the end of the strip, as it gives the beach and pool more privacy. Overall, we always have a lovely stay.

    Clean, friendly and attentive staff.

--Rooms, mostly Ocean View, are close to everything on the resort. --Pools, Restaurants, Cafes, Convenience stores, Bars and Work Out facilities at your fingertips with a variety of nightly Entertainment. --ALL FOOD GREAT! --ESPECIALLY--THE HAPPY HOUR DRINKS AND NIGHTLY GET TOGETHERS!! Really Nice to relax and enjoy the camaraderie with Great Staff and other Tourists. --Cheap Bus or Taxi at the door to almost anywhere on the Island, including several nearby shopping areas, entertainment venues, casinos and restaurants or with just a short walking distance to most. --DOWNTOWN-(short cheap bus ride) Fun place to visit where the cruise ships are in and out daily, with passengers and other tourists mingling about with tons of sites to see (tours ) or just strolling around. Several places to eat, have drinks or have fun at many of the Casinos. As per well known Travel Advisories, Aruba is Rated worldwide as one of the best places to visit. It is NOT in a Hurricane Zone, no Political Unrest, minimal Violence, or Theft and is mainly Sunny, Warm and BEAUTIFUL year round. We have been to Aruba 3 times, and will definitely go back once our world as we know it with Covid 19, goes away and let's us enjoy travelling again.

    Keeps Getting Better and Better

From check-in to check-out, and the white sand beach in between, our stay, although cut short two weeks by the Coronavirus pandemic, at the Divi Phoenix was nothing short of fantastic. The total treatment received by all employees can best be described as it felt like we were the only people there. Ramon Statie and his beach/pool team that includes Marckenzy Gabriel, Julio Rodriguez ( Julio 1), Ariel Ramirez and Julio 2, go about their jobs with constant smiles, always affable and gregarious. Each one can never do enough for you. They are simply the very best! Checking in was smooth…Jairon Held greeted us with an ear-to-ear smile and promptly assigned our room, programed the wristbands and we were on our way. Along the way a gentleman came up to us and introduced himself, checking to make sure everything was pleasant so far and offering his assistance for anything we might need during our stay. Hansel Pineda was his name. He’s a great addition to the Divi Phoenix management team. Never before at any resort/hotel have we had management check to make sure the room was to our satisfaction. Chido Geerman, who is the head of the housekeepers, asked the question. You could tell Mr. Geerman sincerely cares, and while the room was perfect and available when promised, he was another that offered his assistance during our stay. Our stay, although “marred” by the Coronavirus pandemic, was great. The staff was great, the room was very clean and accomodating, the beach perfectly manicured, the new beach lounges a welcome addition and it all added up to what we’ve found over the years to be the best resort on Aruba —- Divi Phoenix Beach Resort.

    Great Vacation

Was there in February and had a great time. For the most part everyone was nice. A special thanks goes to Yvette, Julio Juan and a few girls at the front desk. We have going there since 2009 and can't wait to go every year.

Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort

My wife and I were here the first week of March. We had a beautiful, spacious room with one balcony over looking the pool and an other balcony facing the golf course. We had deluxe accamodations, with a hot tub on the floor above us. The beautiful beach with lounge chairs and shaded cabanas (?) was a very short distance away. We walked to the golf course and restaurant, but anywhere you wanted to go on the property a small tram was right there to take you. Happy hour every afternoon at the pool and the beach. Water sports equipment was available. We we snorkeled at several beaches. We also rented a car (dropped off at the lobby for us) to drive around the island. We had privilege's at all three of the Divi properieis and the casino. We were given complimentary coupons for dinner and for the casino. The porters, drivers, all the staff were extremely helpful, carrying lougage, driving you anywhere on the property, to the beach, to the other Divi properties. The beaches were clean, the water calm for easy swimming, a restaurant with happy hour, beautiful weather, shopping only a short bus ride away. A big plus was US emigration was at the Aruba airport. When we got back to the States we were able to go right to baggage claim, avoid the long hassle going through customs here. A wonderful experience, and on our bucket list to return.
