Great stay as ever at Desire Riviera Maya. Our 5th year staying over the winter holiday. The resort as always was immaculate & the staff superb. Highlights were the fabulous buffet dinner on Dec 24th. Wonderful outdoor food stations with a huge amount of choice. A big positive this year was the music improvements. They seem to have refreshed alot of the live bands and also modernized the music at the lobby bar downstairs. It must be hard to please so many different age groups but the dance floor was always busy so they are doing something right. The DJs work so hard to try and satisfy everyone, Mauro as ever was always amazing, but shout outs also to DJ Vic, Efer & Leo. All the staff here are wonderful, the bartenders are always so happy & fun to interact with, Axel is a real good addition these last 12 months, his Spicy Mezcalitas are the best. Monica waitressing is a lot of fun & also Hiromi. Playmaker team had some new members but they seem a good unit together again, Javi, Bella, Pina, Mauricio, Bam Bam, Meli, Chiara & also Manuel the new captain was entertaining & good to chat with. The nightclub bartenders this trip were amazing, Ever, Luis & Marcos. They looked after my wife so well, Desire is such a safe place experience for us. There’s no where else in the world that you can be so free & yet feel so secure.

Amazing experience
An amazing unforgettable experience! Had a wonderful time, the people the staff Africa and other servers near the pool were so attentive always made sure we had a drink, we booked cabanas every day, some days we had to go at 10.30 to get them but always looked after, we struggled with food a little due to being vegetarian, but there was plenty of meat and chicken for choice, there’s no judgement at all everyone is nice all shapes and sizes, hot tub was busy from 3-7 then after 11pm, a lot going on in the area! we booked spa treatments which were brilliant, try haggle don’t book beforehand!! Lupita and Callie was brilliant and attentive. We ate a few times late night pizza the server was brilliant all the staff were very helpful thank you so much!! the shows are amazing to I would take outfits for theme night which were fun everyone is dressed and are there to having nothing but fun! Thank you to everyone making our vacation amazing and unforgettable

Third time was a charm
It was our third time going and for the first time we can say that we actually enjoyed every facets of the resort. We stayed in a ocean view room (old part) we really enjoyed the mexican restaurant. The only thing we could ask for is maybe more music throughout the day but that’s just us

Great Trip to the “New” Desire RM!
We spent 5 nights at Desire RM a few weeks ago-(We have gone to Both RM and Pearl many times-but our first trip back to RM since the addition of Eden and the other renovations) Our trip was fabulous- we finally got the room we requested-it has been a challenge-even at the highest Premier level to get an upgraded room-which is frustrating. BUT this trip was great- food was amazing, we were blessed to have Rafael as our Butler (he is the best) and of course, I spent lots of time in my favorite place-The Spa! Rosy, Itzel, Lily and Jesus in the front welcomed everyone with a big smile and were so helpful- Massage Therapists Jessica and Estrella- OMG- better massages then anything I could get here in the US (and believe me-I have had a lot of massages in the US!) We toured the Eden rooms- they were nice, but the amount of $ they wanted to upgrade to that level was too high for a minimal difference in rooms… But it was an amazing 5 days and RM is still a wonderful vacay spot!!!
