Nov 29, 2025Clean Rooms, Amazing Staff, and Fun Pools—Overshadowed by Bad Business Practices
Room: Very clean and everything we needed. We stayed in one of the garden view rooms and had no complaints about the room. It was a little weird to have a shared balcony, but we just didn’t use it cz our neighbors were smoking tobacco out there. Staff: Very pleasant and helpful. Monica, Bam Bam and Bella are absolutely fantastic, upbeat and friendly. They make the experience! Leo at the water sports area was also amazing and we loved the hobie cat. Restaurants: Annoying to need reservation, but the key is that you don’t actually need a reservation to sit at the communal tables and that is a great way to meet new people. One of the waiters at Suki was pushy about serving me alcohol when I ordered a non alcoholic drink which was unacceptable behavior. Overall the food portions are small, so definitely order appetizers. The food quality was good and I enjoyed the meals, especially breakfast. There are a lot of food options for all different tastes. The late night pizza could be improved as it was soft and soggy in the middle. Activities: Highly recommend the pool volleyball, water aerobics and pole class in the pool. These were all very fun! Management and marketing: VERY BAD! In a lifestyle where it would be unacceptable to pressure people and shame them, the marketing people did all these things to try to get us to come to their silly meeting to try to get us to purchase a membership. This is the WORST part of the whole experience. It is predatory and bad business. My husband also had requests that management said they would address and they never followed up even with a note under the door of our room. Funny how they could leave a note and found us at the pool when suddenly they wanted to sell us something. Really shows where their priorities lie. When we expressed we may not ever return to the resort, the marketing lady even had the audacity to say “oh you will be back” in such an arrogant, definitive, presumptuous manner it only solidified our decision that we indeed will likely never return. Location: Secluded and safe, people from other resorts will sometimes walk along the beach, but other than that it is very private. Atmosphere: The main pool is a party and there is another pool area for relaxing. The jacuzzi at Eden and nightclub and playroom are all really great and set up to have a good time. Value: Definitely overpriced so take advantage of everything offered. The gift shop is a TOTAL SCAM AND RIPOFF. It’s ridiculously priced and wrong that they charge so much for that and the spa services. I wouldn’t recommend using either of those services. The reservation said the sauna and steam room were included and then the paperwork when we arrived said that there was an extra charge so watch for inconsistencies in what you are sold versus what they deliver.

This place is just an amazing good time. It’s not top luxury if you are expecting that to it is not for you unless you pay the big expensive suites. But the open minded atmosphere with the respect aspect of it (I feel better here than at bars) is amazing. But the best thing about this hotel are the people. My favorites were for sure Lalo the waiter and then the playmakers Chiara and Mauricio, and then Christian at front desk always willing to lend a helping hand. Although most of the staff is really good, they provide 6 star service for sure! Try it you will not regret it.

Great place for meeting new and nice friends. The facilities are great. Rooms at Eden are just perfect. The shows, spa (couples massages), pool facilities, reception service are great

Beautiful place-friendly staff-excellent service-exceptional food and bevs. Great Entertainment~ We had a Romantic stay for my birthday. Beautiful people all around and the parties were awesome!

Fantastic
Just Wow, this place just never stops to surprise us, incredible staff that really make you feel like you never left. Then there's the playmakers, not sure how they have so much energy ( I'm sure they will miss me playing pool volleyball) Bella is Extra special but i can't forget Chiara, Monica, Pina, Mauricio and BamBam. Eunice, Jasmin, Hector and the Egg lady (forgot her name) are great in the restaurants, Carlos and Ivan the bartenders, Able, Rafael and Daniel the butlers where alway there to help. All i can say is this place is definitely home away from home no matter where your at in the LS community.
