Aug 02, 2025For us, much better than Cancun!
After having not been to Mexico for more than 15 years, the Delta Riviera Nayarit was a pleasant change in pace for my family at an all inclusive resort. We thoroughly enjoyed the slower pace of our days, relaxing poolside and the food was all around better than we expected. Staff was for the most part quite friendly, especially the Bell Boy Francisco who went out of his way to help us at both check in and check out with a ride to our Villa with bags and took care of the loading and unloading for us. He also showed us the amenities locations on our mini tour ride in the cart to our Villa. Would recommend the property for sure!

Staff is incredible
We had an amazing stay, one of the highlights was the spa experience. My mom, sister, and I all received massages from Maritza. She was absolutely incredible. It was such a beautiful, relaxing experience, and we left feeling completely renewed. Fabiola, who helped us book the massages, was kind, professional, and made the whole process seamless. Fernando also made our time by the pool so enjoyable—he brought drinks with a smile and offered exceptional service throughout our stay. Every interaction we had with the staff made us feel welcomed and well cared for. Highly recommend!

Great experience
Gladys is amazing! Best bartender ever! When we first arrived, Gladys was so accommodating. Drinks, table, ready to go. Highly recommend this resort to adults and youngins alike. Great hospitality.

Resort is very spread out with with lots of elevation as described in most reviews. Staff does their best with multiple golf cart shuttles but be prepared to walk a lot. Resort grounds are well manicured but require continuous leaf blowers and spraying for mosquitoes twice a day. Pools are a plus but towels must be checked in/out with limited locations to do so. Food is average at best with limited options at buffet or outside of Latin cuisine. One hibachi restaurant was solid, requires reservations. If you have a picky eater this is not the place for you. Room was well decorated and insulated to sound. Finishes shoddy with limited hot water supply. Beach was beautiful with generally good service from bar/restaurant but requires shuttle reservations and is about 20 minutes away. This is an adequate resort with good value at price point and with realistic expectations. If you book third party you won’t have access to bonvoy app which can make navigating resort very challenging.
