  Fun in Cancun

  The vip room in the morning with Jerry and Maria was amazing every day. Evening in the vip nice and quiet. Great beach and bars

  Absolutely breathtaking

  I truly had an amazing experience with Maria in the Club. Very friendly staff Jerry has been an absolute pleasure to lighten up our mornings. Definitely will be back!

  Wonderful, relaxing, & cared for by excellent staff

  I would like to comment 4 staff members. Andres Nava, concierge, went above & beyond, answering at least 20 ?'s, giving advice, help, & direction. On a scale of 1-10 I would give him a 15. Nieve @ the buffet went out of his way to help our party if 7, & assist us with the 2 special needs, persons, he's a person of quality service, kindness, & caring, excellence in his position. Nataly on the check in desk, was patient & kind in several of our needs, she even got me on Wi-Fi, & made us feel important. Angel, baggage person I will call him, helped us many times in loading for excursions, directions & advice on things we wanted to do. I would give these people a 10 on a 1-10 scale. You should be honored to have these people on staff, they made our trip a luxury we won't forget. Please give them extra thanks to them above what we already did. Sincerely Wendy Lamarche.

  Not the worst but not the best

  Traveled with my husband and two kids. Pros: our room was decent and seemed clean. I liked the bunk beds with trundle, so there was enough room for both kids to sleep. My little guy opted for the trundle which was nice, so we didn’t have to worry about him falling out of bed. We had a beautiful view of the beach from our room. If you looked to the left, there was construction. But it didn’t bother us. The kids enjoyed the water park, the pools, I loved that there was a shallow kiddy pool that my 3 yo could walk in. The layout was not big so there was no issue of it being overwhelming. Staff were ok to us when needed. I liked that they had Mickey Mouse come and visit in the lobby area. My kids enjoyed that. And they also had a night where vendors came and set up to sell items like jewelry etc. that was fun to look and shop. I bought a beautiful handmade beaded bird that is hung on my rearview mirror. Cons: check in was awful. I’ve seen other people complain about check in being bad at resorts but didn’t understand why it was bad. In this case it was a long line to check in that moved extremely slow. It was so hot and my family was exhausted from a long day of travel. It was just the worst check in experience I have had. After all that, our room wasn’t ready. The only open place to eat was the buffet and since we didn’t have a reservation we had to also eat at the buffet for dinner as well on the same night. Food was not great. There wasn’t anything that I felt was delicious which was a bummer. I have stayed at all inclusives before and have had pretty decent to enjoyable food. At this resort we ate just to eat. There were chicken nuggets at the poolside lunch place that had pink bits in the meat. I’ve never seen chicken nuggets like that before. We didn’t get sick from the food, it just was not tasty at all. Dessert was always a weird spongy type of cake or ice cream. The buffet did not have a great variety. It was the same offerings I think everyday. We did get room service for breakfast and it was decent. Although it took quite a while. There were times that the phone didn’t seem to work to call down to anyone. Other than the pools and water park, there wasn’t too much entertainment for the kids. There was a movie theater but they only played the movie in Spanish. My daughter wasn’t interested in sitting through it to read subtitles the whole time. She’s not a super fast reader yet. The game room was not good. I think they had a pool table, large connect 4, some video game and a foosball table, but it all wasn’t in great condition and not super stimulating to the kids. They did offer a kids glow party at night we went to. On the schedule with the list of activities they advertised face painting and my daughter was excited; but when we got to the kids club they said it was over. They said it was at an earlier time than what was listed on the activity list. So it was a disappointment. The beach was not swimmable when we went. Too much sargassum on the beach which I know can happen, but it was so much that you couldn’t enjoy walking in the beach to get to the ocean. The waves were too rough/ unsafe for swimming. Maybe it was the time of year we went, I’m not sure or if it’s just the area. All in all I do think that sometimes a trip can be what you make of it. We didn’t have a terrible time, we were comfortable enough, but I’m sure there are better places.

  He treated me and my daughters like family!

  The restaurant los galos was a great experience thanks to the waiter Alexis Gil Geronimo . It was good food and service ! Clean and neat restaurant
