  Not recommending at all

  Overall, from lack of internet connection, phone call was useless no one answers, not sure if it was working, day before they took our dining chair and never returned. Staff at front desk rude and extremely slow. Our room floor was dirty, old bath tub, too much noise at night.

  Honest review from a couple.

  Honest review from a couple point of view. Room We had 1748 this is top floor in the middle with the most amazing view of the beach. Sunrise is breath taking. Nice size balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Room is really big and shower lovely. Cleaners jerp it very tidy and filled the water up everyday. No complaints at all. Staff. The staff are nice and hard working. My partner was unwell 2 days so I tried to talk to reception/ concierge to arrange a smoothie for the room and to cancel dinner reservations but they were dismissive told me to pay for Room service, I was happy to do this but they didn't do smoothies. They also said it was too late to cancel the booking so I went directly to the restaurant as I felt it was just rude to not turn up. But 90% of staff very friendly. Entertainment Not our cup of tea but seemed great for families. Main pool had things going on in the day kids all seemed to love it. Bars. I feel they could make better use of space for the bars and the air con was on high so most people had hoodies etc on in the evenings. Just take a wrap to be safe. Beach. Stunning just stunning. Water is crystal clear some seaweed but nothing to complain about. Very wavy which was fun but if your unsteady in your feet be careful as its a powerful under pull. But everyone was enjoying and the life guards are very good constantly watching and warning people. Pools. We only really used the adult pool which was refreshing in Jan with cloudy weather but when the sun came out it was very nice. The pool bar and heated pools next to it are great, perfect place to relax. Nice beds and cabanas. Beds We didn't have any issue getting beds at the beach or adult pool. We are early risers, but in days we went out later we still got beds. Drinks. Lots if options and good brands. Food. Unfortunately this is where the hotel falls down. I am Gluten free so its always more difficult. I told them everyday I was GF snd they offered pancakes which are nice but it did take a few prompts each day to get them to the table. The breakfast buffet is ok, we enjoyed the fresh smoothies, fruit yought etc. Lunch time buffet was better fresh meats, salad, potatoes etc. Evening we tried the specialist restaurants. French- nice setting, wine is nice, food is ok waiters are great. My partner was ill after this but we don't want to assume it was the food here, i'd just be cautious about taking anti bac etc with you. Steak- from a Gluten free point if view they were great. I had the chicken which was lovely very tasty. My partner tried the steak but was underwhelmed but also tge ribs which he loved. Fish. I had the steak....which was really nice, he had the salmon again nice. The other food was just ok but staff so lovely. Italian The only option for GF was plain pasta or pasta with a tomato sauce. I felt like they could offer more, even just throwing in some fresh fresh, meat etc. Again staff were nice. Out and about. We did the xplor trip with zip wiring, driving and underwater caves. Great fun and tge food included on the ticket is stunning so fill up while there. Cancun and marina We caught the R1/R2 bus to cancun where coco bongers is to have a look around. Then headed back to the marine for food. Beautiful views and felt very safe. We ran a few times out of the hotel down the main road,  stunning views and very safe. Even saw a few iguanas!!! All in all, location great, views, beautiful, beach and pools nice. Just don't expect wonders from the food

  Great family experience! Everything was great.. Quality of food?

  Jesus is the best bellhop! Was great to see him again. Nieves in the Palapas was always so helpful and accommodating! This completes are 3rd family vacation here.

  Always a good time at Crown Paradise Cancun

  We have been staying at this resort for 21 years and with the exception of a few incidentals here and there, we are always happy with our stay and when or if there are any issues, staff has always been attentive to correct the issue. We love the staff at Crown, some have been working there for longer than we have been coming and always greet us on first name basis when we return.

  Another great vacation.

  We come here every year and love seeing the same faces and helpful staff. Jerry, Maria Jesus Carlos David in Buffett New face Samil all so great and helpful. Also Sergio and Nancy from Golden Shores. Our concierge Jessica was great helped with dinners. They have a new entertainment acts this year which we loved they are a great group. Greese and the Latin show Studio 54 and of course Michael Jackson all great. We will see you all again next year hoping to stay longer than 3 weeks. Oh also the cappuccino ice cream was a great addition! They have done some upgrades which we did notice. New beds water machines by the ice makers new chair lounges. We tried anther resort which was brand new so great building but not as good trip in our opinion. Good has been good for us but we aren’t picky.
