  Vacation

  Jesus at the check in , and check out was awesome! The wait staff was amazing, and most accommodating! Victor on the beach was the best!

  Great service, resort as expected for the cost

  Resort is under new management and is in need of repairs throughout, but as we were leaving we noticed a lot of areas blocked off and being painted which is promising. Reservations for dinner were like winning the lottery bc they were only seating half capacity or less. You must be on the reservation site at 8am to get a reservation and they were gone by 8:15. The buffet food is average, but we had great food at each restaurant. We got the crown club upgrade which is the only way for adults without children to book because you have access to an adult lounge for drinks, breakfast and evening snacks. Jerry was an amazing, energetic bartender/server in the lounge Whoop whooping all day and offering tequila shots first thing in the morning. The concierge, Maria, was so helpful with our questions and helping with reservations at the spa and for our group of 8 for dinners. Victor was our beach server and was very attentive to our group each day bringing us drinks with a big smile. He even came by on our last night to say goodbye to us and take some pics which was so sweet! Daniel at the pool bar was fast and funny. Leon was in the pool hall and also helped our group get our dinner reservations combined. And as we were waiting for our transfer to take us back to the airport, Joel came by and was kind enough to get us drinks while we were waiting. Service was great, but they were short staffed which made it slower to get into the buffet and drinks at the bars. I would say for this price point the resort is what I would expect.

  Excellent customer service

  Great views and service. Jerry and Maria in the adult lounge, Victor from the beach bar, Daniel from the pool bar, Leon from the pool hall/steak house, and Danea from the lobby were all amazing!! The food is not fabulous and not warm. If you don’t get a reservation you will be hungry because the buffet is not good. It is definitely more geared to families. They don’t have activities for adults. The adult pool has zero going on but Louis was great!! cleaning staff was good and everything was clean!

  Family vacation

  Alexis at El Gallo is amazing we've been coming every year since 2020 and he still remembers us, an amazing top server . Always greets us with a big smile.He's amazing at his job. Luis from fisherman was also very attentive. Jesus bell boy is also another great person who remembers us every year. Greets with a smile and provides great service. Alicia the house keeper another great hard worker. They are the reason for us coming back every year. Unfortunately our stay was just ok this time around the front desk was extremely busy and being a socio didn't really matter as we had to wait in the long line to check in as socio office was closed by 4pm. Ceci did help us out during our stay after that experience. As far as the hotel The food is getting worse every year. No tacos or tostadas at buffet during our week stay. All food there was bland. Rooms smell of mildew. Needs upgrade.

  Save your money go somewhere else

  Overall very poor choice for us for choosing this hotel. The only thing in the favor for this Hotel is the view and the access to the beach. Everything else is just a waste of time. Whether its Checkin line, long waiting lines for food, very few open slots to make dinner reservations. We have been to Cancun before, but this trip left a sour taste.
