Jun 12, 2025Great hotel, great staff, great location!
The room and hotel were clean and comfortable. The staff were all really great! The only thing I could ask for that we didn’t have was just an in-room microwave and refrigerator. These two things definitely wouldn’t keep me from coming back though.

This is a difficult review to write. I really wanted to love this hotel but it was a major disappointment. I want to be fair so I will start with the good: the bar and its staff. While the restaurant has the views, the bar has the staff and they are great. Order from the kitchen while sitting outside and people-watch as they go about their business on Ashford. The “fair” - the room is just okay. Amazing views of the ocean but the room itself is somewhat impractical if traveling with more than one person. Only two small drawers for storage; we were there for a week and had to get creative about where to store away our clothes. The mattress on the bed was very dated, sagging and uncomfortable; I had springs digging into my back and had to request a new mattress. Management’s response was to move us to a new room, and I had to argue why inconvenience us when they could just as easily swap out the mattresses. I think they ultimately just flipped the mattress because the replacement was just as bad. The “ugly” - housekeeping. Prior to booking this stay I read the reviews on Trip Advisor and shrugged off the comments about mediocre housekeeping and - wow - was I wrong. Perhaps I am wrong in thinking that $500 @ night (room rate and resort fee) gets you a clean room, but apparently that isn’t the case. Several days either our room wasn’t cleaned or the toilet wasn’t cleaned (yeah, gross that I was able to count the days) . One day, our trash wasn’t picked up and there was a banana peal left behind. After a certain point, you begin to ask yourself…is this just the new norm or was I not tipping enough every day ($5)? There were several hotels that I considered before settling on Condado Ocean Club. It wasn’t horrible; it just wasn’t great. It was a disappointment.

I love this hotel. I stayed there three times this year and whenever I go to Puerto Rico, that’s the hotel that I’m going to stay at. They have a beautiful infinity pool the staff at the restaurant it’s very friendly and great. The waiter Giovanni makes really good drinks. It’s a vibe

The customer service was great and everyone was so nice but many negatives that would make me not stay next time. My negatives were that the false alarm has gone off twice after 10pm and then two more times during the day. Housekeeping doesn’t come until earliest 4pm so I’ve had to call the front desk for towels and water refills multiple times when I get ready for dinner. Love the location of the hotel but you can’t get in the ocean. I was told the covered area of the pool is for rent which was ridiculous since none were even taken at the time. Everyone was so nice who works there which was why I even give 2 stars.

My boyfriend and I have stayed here twice and both times had the best experience. The service is excellent, the rooms and pool area are clean and we always have the best time - we even extended our last trip. It’s the perfect location to hit all the spots that are a must and the view is unlike anything else.
