Absolutely amazing hotel when we entered, we were immediately greeted with smiles and kindness from the front desk staff. It was a breath of fresh air to have so kind persons in customer service as it was not the same when we arrived at the airport. The room was beautiful they had fruits drinks and refreshments in our room, a baby crib set up for our daughter and the food was everything you’d want and more from Bahamian cuisines to international food choices. We went at a Pretty wet time and staying on the hotel grounds instead of leaving still made everything so fun and still felt like vacation! Highly recommend!! Baby friendly very accommodating and the service impeccable! Thank you Comfort suites family for an amazing stay! Until next time!!

    So disappointed

We had stayed here before a few years ago and so we rebooted by phone directly with hotel. We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights. Ad on web said room sleeps4, so I said 1 room w people and 1 room 4, it was %00 and when we arrived we were told because of 2 sons in the sleeps 4 room they charged us $800 more. I was upset, now the room for my daughter and husband and 2 sons was almost P0 ]÷= night and they had 1 bed and a pull out couch bed with 2" mattress I said no way. You charge $500 @ night to have them sleep on a pull out. But they charged my credit card. Snd yes we had a free breakfast.. total bill was $3300 for 4 nights, 2 rooms so be carefully when you book. The hotel moved my daughter and family to a 2 bed room. We were happy with that. At 10 pm hotel personnel was nang on door telling them to move, because they were in a room nor paid for. Yelling and demanding they out. How inconsiderate. So the family moved again. We'll never go back. Xome on so rude for $3300.

    Great location, horrible food

Overall a mixed bag: the hotel has room for improvement in many areas, but the proximity and complimentary use of the Atlantis Resort is a great advantage. The breakfast service at the pool may get crowded, with long lines, the free breakfost leaves a lot to be desired under ripe fruits, no yohgurt, no waffles or pancakes. I have stayed at other Comfort Suites and this food options are limited unless you like greasy bacon and yellow over-buttered grits. Basically a 2 star, but the grounds are nice for a small property and the rooms were cleaned very well with a bonus star related to the Atlantis. I would rent a car for the day and buys snacks and breakfast items that can be stored in the room refrigerator much healthier to buy yoghurts, REAL orange juice, chips, crackers, fruits, and have coffee and a bagel or toast only from the restaurant. Atlantis food is expensive but may be worth it to go over to the main land and have lunch and dinners most nights or maybe have pizza delivery from Dominoes, Marco's Pizza or other delivery places. Atlantis for one dinner might be worth it if you like looking at the aquarium but not necessary. I didn't find the food amazing but very good the price tag leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The best part about this hotel is that you can access the water park and the aquarium so great for kids and adults alike. The night time can be nice walking around the Marina as they have locals entertainment but make sure you speak to concierge in Atlantis or in the shops of the marina to find out which nights, when and where. Do not eat at the Comfort Suites restaurant unless you are used to the low quality food and lack of fresh ingredients. i was charged after I left the hotel for more than I signed on the restaurant check which was disappointing but not more than $20 bucks so not worth filing a complaint. Mgt obviously has some holes. Good to stay but would not eat here or swim in the pool there just go to the Atlantis for that.

The customer is not always right

Beware! We have stayed here multiple times over the last 15 years. It was never outstanding, but decent enough, and a pretty good savings . But no more! This last time, we had a HORRIBLE experience. When there was a mix up with our room, we had a shift manager banging on our door at 9:30 at night demanding we vacate the room immediately or else they will charge us for a 2nd room! Then they left and came back at 10:30 and did the same thing. We had to move rooms at 11:00 at night. They were rude, uncompromising, and completely unsympathetic -especially since it was THEIR FAULT! After a long discussion with the manager the next day, no resolution, no concessions, just an unconvincing, “sorry that happened.” I have never been so insulted at a hotel before. Beyond that, the rooms are very weathered, mattresses wore out, and furniture stained. Do NOT stay here. It’s not worth it. Spend a few dollars more and stay at the Atlantis. Of course, many of the staff are quite nice and helpful. Our issue is with the management.

Awesome location, awesome amenities, awesome service

The service was great, Javan greeted us with warmth and made the checkin process easy and very professional. He was so accommodating. Everyone is wonderful there and we had access to the water park and a wonderful buffet breakfast. Rooms were tidy, and check out was an easy process as well. This hotel is recommended, especially for families.
