Feb 03, 2026Diesel Smoke and Fumes!!!!!!
AVOID!! There is a new building going up right next to the Privledged pool and beach. Both areas are inundated with diesel fumes and EXTREMELY Loud Pile driving and heavy equipment. Both areas are all but unusable. I realize this is out of the control of the resort....but regardless this is what toy will experience. This development has just begun, so there is still Months of construction noise to come. If you want a relaxing g beach vacation DO NOT COME HERE!!

Very friendly staff. We had a quick check in and Roger brought our luggage to our room. He spent the week helping my daughter improve her spanish which was so kind. The whole resort was full of great people. The food was decent, the restaurants were hard to book but we got into one. The bars were awesome. Lots to do from dance lessons, snorkelling,mini golf and sports bar. Karaoke was really fun. Our room was dated but clean and the air conditioning was quiet and worked great. We were on the 4th floor and never heard hallway noise. Overall a very awesome week.

Overpriced and disappointing for a 4-star resort.
Overpriced and disappointing for a 4-star resort. Booked “king or double” but was told at check-in that king beds are very limited. After multiple requests we got a king room with water seepage, then were downgraded to a double-bed room. Rooms are dated unless you pay $50 extra per night. The air conditioner was extremely noisy and significantly impacted the quality of sleep. No complimentary basic amenities (like dental kit/toothpaste or shaving kit). There are very limited beach loungers, and half the beach reserved for Privileged guests. You won’t find any lounge after 11AM. Buffet is repetitive and à la carte reservations are nearly impossible. Hotel service was also mediocre. Housekeeping missed our room until 3pm one day. Staff sprayed insecticide next to the kids’ club during peak hours. Check-in took ~40 minutes. Good location, but overall poor value and misrepresented.

Terrible Rooms, Repetitive Food and Disappointing Kids Club
Sprayed insecticide with strong smell while guests were enjoying outdoors! Started fixing bar slab ( breaking it and putting new one in place) during dinner time with small pieces flying all around. Beach chairs aren’t enough, drinking water and towel station is far away. Staff is not very welcoming, instead quite rude. Rooms have leaking ceilings, same food every day, 3 times a day. Kids club do not engage kids in crafts, instead make them watch television.

If not for the buffet I would have given a higher rating. The food can best be described as bland, boaring and repetitive. We have been to several resorts this one has the worst staff to guest ratio for the buffet. We always had to wait for coffee or drinks as staff were too busy. One day at breakfast there was no bread. My wife mentioned it to a staff member. They said it wasn't their job. She approached another they ignored her. The third person she told did say the would pas it on. 20 minutes later bread arrived .
