- Other Local AttractionsAltos de Chavon artists village is a vibrant cultural community perched above the Chavon River. cobblestone paths, coral stone fountains and terra cotta buildings create a magical effect in this village designed by Roberto Coppa, an Italian architect who at the time was a Paramount movies set designer. He built Altos de Chavon in the late 1970s to emulate a 15th century southern Italy-southern Spain village. Visitors today discover craft workshops, artists’ studios, galleries and restaurants. Weddings are frequent at the St. Stanislaus Church, as few places can be more romantic than Altos de Chavon. The performing arts are showcased in the village’s 5,000-seat amphitheatre, inaugurated in 1982 by Frank Sinatra and is still attracting top name performers. Visit the Regional Museum of Archaeology, a small but wonderful display of the Island’s rich pre-Columbian heritage. The Art Gallery features contemporary art exhibitions.

Must Go!
Had dinner here on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! Tried a couple of different drinks. Our favorite was the Nikkei Margarita :) Their menu changes, but the sushi is what we loved the most!!

This Resort Lives Up To It's Reputation!
Visited Casa De Campo for my 60th birthday celebration, and boy am I glad we did. The property is immaculate, grounds and beach are amazing. More importantly, the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Was upgraded to Premier Club upon arrival and we took full advantage of the snacks, bar and view. Front desk (Berny) was helpful with restaurant recommendations and gave us the layout of this very large property. Pools, beach, restaurants and bars were all top notch. One of our drivers, Sergio, was wonderful in showing us the amphitheater, properties and landmarks that gave us a better understanding of the history of the resort. Overall it was a great experience shared with good friends. Would recommend to anyone looking for an upscale, relaxed beach vacation.

Love it:))))
Our first time at Casa de Campo, however it will not be our last. We felt in love with this place and the amazing staff taking care of us. The food is amazing and even though we did not try all the restaurants, La Casita and La piazetta was our favorites. La Casita the view of the marina and the food was top notch. I really loved that you had a lot to do in the resort and not just sit on the beach. Lots of activities to do, from golfing to horseback riding or skeet shooting. The room was amazing, super big and super clean and our cleaning lady was amazing. You also have a golf cart to move around the resort. You have to go and see Altos de Chavon-breathtaking with Italian vibes. Huge shoutout to Hector the Assistant Manager at the reception. He is extremely professional and helpful in explaining the resort. He truly represents Casa de Campo very very well.

Perfect family getaway: golf carts, great food, kids club fun, beach time, and amazing service.
We had an awesome stay at Casa de Campo with my wife and our two kids. From day one it felt easy and fun. The kids loved cruising around the resort in the golf cart, which honestly became an activity on its own. Mornings usually started with breakfast at Lago, great food and a relaxed vibe to ease into the day. We spent a lot of time at the family pool and walking along the sand at Minitas Beach, which was perfect for the kids. One of the best parts of the trip was using Kids in Casa. It gave us some guilt free downtime to enjoy the infinity pool and bar by Minitas Beach Restaurant, which was amazing. Dinner at Casita was a highlight, followed by a walk around the marina at night. We also visited Altos de Chavón during the day and again at night. The Christmas lights made it magical and super kid friendly. The Mexican taqueria was another win, easy food and plenty of space for the kids to move around. I also want to give a special shout out to our housekeeper, Anyi Rosario. She was absolutely lovely, very attentive, and had great attention to detail. She made sure the room was always spotless and comfortable, and those little touches really made a difference in our stay. Overall, it was the perfect mix of family time and adult relaxation. We’ll definitely be back.
