  Disappointed

  Their reservation only restaurant was only open three days a week. This would have been good to know. The buffet rarely changed but this was the only choice besides the bar food near the pool. People left the buffet to eat at the pool bar. The hot tub was never hot but even warm would have been nice. Apparently waiting for a part for three months. The shuffle board push sticks were broken and not replaced. The beach, housekeeping and bartenders were awesome. Really need to update the facilities since they were very tired. Sorry, just being honest.

  Even better the 2nd time

  This was my 2nd time at Carina Bay resort. I had decided to go back as I didn't want to cook or spend more money going out to eat. Having everything in 1 place makes it so much easier. Remember the beach is looking south to the Caribbean, seaweed is going to come on the beach. CB does everything they can to keep it clean, but beaches are public and not their responsibility. It is a good idea to rent a car if you want to explore more of the island, just remember to drive on the left side of the road! I didn't rent a car but used the taxis that stop by to check the travel list. The taxis are not cheap, although they are trustworthy and reliable. Having a taxi kept my stress down. This year the food at CB was much better than last year. It was so nice seeing a lot of the great staff members I had met last year. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I did have a few issues, and reached out to the manager after I got home. He took the time to understand what had happened and explained how they would make it better. They truly care that you have a great time!

  Stay at Divi Carina Bay Beach Resort & Casino & enjoy - relax

  The place is beautiful and the people are awesome and service is like top of the line, I recommend anyone to visit and enjoy the food & drinks and the hospitality is excellent go and see it for yourself and enjoy. The rooms the view and dinning is everthing above and beyond to enjoy, pool and bar restaurant is excellent service.

  Paradise

  From Abena helping me navigate the espresso machine, giving me day trip ideas and maintaining my room to Vahti making me special mango smoothies 💕 I highly recommend this resort!! Private, quiet, no kids!! The beach is beautiful, no seaweed, groomed daily! Kayaks and paddle boards. No undertow. You could swim every day. The location is perfect. Point Udall sunsets are breathtaking.

  Catfished by Website

  Have you ever been catfished by pictures on a website? This is exactly what happened at Carina Bay. As we pulled up to the hotel I thought we were in the wrong location. The exterior of the hotel needs WORK. Luckily our room was renovated and clean. Not without a few hiccups. The room keys didn’t work when we checked in so I had to trek back to the lobby. The phone in the room also didn’t work so whenever we needed something we had to go to the lobby. The front desk agents are clueless. They don’t know what time things open like the activity center or if the activities scheduled for the day are going to happen. Farah the activities director was never to be found during these so called activities. The Canvas & Cocktail activity was cancelled with no notice because they did not have any canvases. The Body Butter making class never happened. The list goes on. The pool is GROSS! There are bugs living in the pool that swim around EVERYWHERE. They look like swimming ticks . Not even the chlorine kills those things. The hot tub was a joke. The water was colder than the pool. The kayaks 3 out of the 5 were broken. The only thing in our stay that was decent was the bar. The bartenders were nice and engaging. The cooks made the meals with love. It’s the only saving grace in the hotel. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay.
