Great resort!
My first resort in 12 years.. I was a little iffy at first, felt like the service wasn’t that great but realized how busy the staff actually were (arrived on a Friday and weekends get very busy with locals doing weekend getaway) came across some great staff Buffet: the managers, hostesses and specifically Samuel as a server (and one more gentleman can’t remember his and but always smiling and polite) Lobby bar: all the staff were great. Javier, Winston, Jinette and some names I can’t remember. All fantastic. Javier makes a fanatic espresso martini. Reception: Julio is so lovely. Sports bar: every staff was very nice! Went back every night. Manager and supervisor were so nice to me when I had specific requests. Pool bar: all great! I was served specifically by yohansil. But all the staff were great and could keep up with the busy pool bar atmosphere. Adult only bar: Joel and John, amazing, so lovely and so nice. Joel makes a great espresso martini. Cleaner: Mercedes was so very nice. All bellmen and shuttle drivers were so nice and shuttles ran very often (every few mins) thank you for your great service. The resort was very beautiful, lots of nature and animals (not just concrete buildings and pools) Beach was great, lots of chairs so you never have trouble finding one. Only complaint I have is specifically with the service at the restaurants. The hostess at the Italian restaurant was very rude and the service at the Brazilian steakhouse wasn’t very organized. Hard to get meat; they didn’t come to my table often, kept walking past us. Over all 10/10 would recommend. PS please remember to tip these guys, they deserve it.

Birthday Weekend Getaway
My husband and I visited for a quick weekend trip from NYC to celebrate his birthday. The pool was a really good size and the bartenders weren’t afraid of giving you a good pour. A few shout outs in particular for great customer service - Jinette and Javier at the lobby bar, and Francis at La Terraza Bar. They genuinely wanted to make sure you were taken care of. I think the most important thing to keep in mind is to have adequate expectations - this isn’t a luxury resort but it’s still a good choice. Yes, you have to make reservations a day in advance so the day we landed we had just the buffet and then made reservations for the next two days/dinners. I didn’t love everything in the buffet but again, it was pretty good considering it’s a buffet at a non-luxury resort, and they had tons of options from different cuisines. Aside from food and bars, I took about 100 pictures of the cute flamingos, peacocks, ducks, and iguanas hanging around the path from the rooms to the lobby.

First time stay at Caribe Deluxe Princess
Just finished 2 weeks here, first time at the hotel and had a great stay. Shoutouts to Audrez, Cepin, Garbel (pictured) but also Emilio and Jose at the platinum club really looked after us anytime we were there. Jenifer from housekeeping was great also came most nights when she was working to see if there was anything we needed. Had a lovely room (2113) nice and spacious decent enough view of the sea close to the pools and restaurants, food was good plenty of choice and big portions at the a la carte restaurants. We did the platinum club, upgraded a personal choice for us to do and we found it beneficial but would be fine if doing standard would stay again like I say weather was fab.

Great Place For your DR Vacation!
The resort was amazing. The staff were always attentive and helpful with us. I'd like to make a shout out to Javier who worked in the pool area. He was always attentive and very friendly. Another shout out to the entertainment staff Julio, Francisco, Randy, Pablo and Fabio. (Animation). The shows were first class, and the activities were excellent. The rooms were kept clean. The fridge was always stocked. The resort was very well kept and clean. I also want to thank Wally at the pool bar who made amazing Pina Coladas! My friends and I would definitely like to go back!
