Great staff Edwin and Alan at pool bar. Sonya at the beach very attentive. Top shelf spirits and canned beer. Restaurant and food stations were delicious. Beach is poor water from a mangrove makes beach water yellow with a smell. Garden staff work very hard to clean it up but if beach is your thing maybe not the place for you.

Dec 04, 2025Freezing Swimout but Pleasant
First I've stayed here 3x. However this stay was just not it. First our swim out was freezing. We asked several workers to turn the heater on they said talk to my manager. Talked with a manager nothing ever happen. So for 5 days I couldn't use the swimsuit I paid for. We were in building 7 However building 6 swim ups were heated. Just the run around so much I just gave up. Next night room service menu bucks. Now mind you I wasn't looking for something gourmet. But the hot dogs were never available and the burgers were burnt Frisbees. The service was amazing. The bars were great. Pools top tier. The entertainment needs work. Not a lot just a little more enthusiasm. Location is about 15 to 20 minutes from the airport.

Dec 04, 2025Perfect Mix of Party and Paradise – Breathless Riviera Cancun
We stayed at Breathless Riviera Cancun for our friend’s 40th birthday, and from the moment we walked in, we were blown away. The resort is absolutely beautiful and open, creating a welcoming atmosphere right away. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, and every day there was something fun happening. We visited during Halloween, and the parties were incredible! The staff was amazing—friendly, attentive, and always making sure we were taken care of. The “party pool” lived up to its name and was the perfect spot for high-energy fun, while the “relax pool” was ideal for those days we wanted to unwind. The beach was surprisingly clean with no seaweed, featuring white sand, huts, and hammocks for lounging, plus excellent drink service. At night, the party didn’t stop—the nightclub was the place to be, and we met so many great people who were just there to have a good time like us. Breakfast at the buffet became our daily meet-up spot, and it offered plenty of options to satisfy everyone. Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a mix of relaxation and non-stop fun, Breathless Riviera Cancun is the perfect choice. Pros Outstanding service from staff Fun, lively atmosphere with events every day Great mix of party and relaxation areas (party pool & relax pool) Clean beach with white sand, hammocks, and drink service Good food and plenty of breakfast options Cons Resort credits were very limited in what they could be used for Restaurant hours and availability could be improved

Dec 03, 2025Fraudulent Billing Practices
November 20,-24, 25 hotel stay. The hotel is nice, the staff and workers are very kind. However, the hotel administrative reservation clerks are engaged in fraudulent billing practices and dishonest. I am not sure if I was asked to pay a deposit because, of who I am? I paid my half on room charges $1,xxxx.xx. Roommate was arriving 5 hours later, I asked to wait. The gentleman clerk requested I pay a deposit in case roommate did not show. I paid a $900 what suppose to be a temporary hold. Received a $0.01 receipt for chk out, to date Hyatt claims team is playing phone tag, allowing the Hotel Manager and staff to either lie or, not respond. Billing charges not released as of 12/3/25. My roommate and I have receipts. I am disappointed as a new a new Hyatt member, filed claims. Do not trust this hotel clerk staff to be forthcoming with refunding anything.

Amazing trip!
My husband and I came to Cancun for the first time to escape the winter snow. We knew if anything else, we would be happy to escape the cold and be in the sun but we were blown away with our experience. At the pool, everyday we had Edwin, ensuring we had everything we needed from towels, to drinks, to food. Some days we didn’t leave the pool because Edwin had us covered the entire day. Phenomenal service! Edwin was genuinely happy to serve us and see us everyday! In the pool and around we had Erik and Angel for our entertainment. They made sure the party never stopped, they hyped everyone up with games and fitness and brought the party to us whether we were in the pool or lounging. Honestly these three guys made our experience the best one yet and we are from Canada so we know friendly, they were above and beyond!
