Having traveled all around the world and specifically to Mexico with too many times to count, We were certainly disappointed. I expected a better experience going to this breathless resort. Pros: The staff was amazing, mostly everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The resort grounds were very clean and well kept. Our room was very nice, for the most part. The dj was diverse: reggae, Hip hop etc. really good the first day we arrived....after that it left something to be desired. There wasn't a barrage of time share individuals swarming you at every moment. Loved it was adults only, the vibe was great. Cons: The food was awful. No dinner buffet option. There isn't a place to go to dinner if you don't pick an a-la-cart restaurant, which half were closed. Room service is a joke. We tried the available restaurant options. They were terrible. We wanted to order food and have it delivered to the resort, that's how bad it was! Unfortunately everyone knows the food will make or break an experience. The night time entertainment/shows were so bad its not even worth commenting on. Almost none of the outlets worked in my room. Everyone we met complained it was very disorganized! No-one knew what was going on, and when. Even with the app. Lastly, we made a purchase in the gift shop (extremely overpriced), of which we were told one price and they charged the card a different price. No, it wasn't a pesos to USD issue I know the difference very well. I went back after I received the notification by my credit card. The manager stated there was nothing he could do! $44 for two keychains unbelievable! We were scouting this resort out for a wedding as well. I'm glad we did. There are, a lot of better options. Wheelchair life with my wife for her birthday and we enjoyed it. It brought us closer through this trip and we learned a lot about each other. After years of being together.

The resort is beautiful. There are on site activities which were nice. The pools were a good time. It’s quiet which is nice if that’s what you are looking for. If you want more of a party atmosphere, come on weekends. The food and drinks are mediocre.

Aug 10, 2025Breathless was full of love, excitement, and lots of adventure.
We decided to go to Breathless as we both never been to one before and overall we enjoyed it. The activities were well set up and soooo much fun! They had everything from beach volleyball, karaoke, live music, DJ parties in the day and lots of live performances in the night. The food for me was 4/5. I LOVED the japanese restaurant and my man enjoyed the french cuisine they had. Lots of options between restaurants and buffets. Overall our favorite was the fire crust pizza they had down by the beach! The staff there were AMAZING! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I’d love to give a shout out to the following staff that stood out the most to us: Edwin, Rogelio, Enrique, Pedro, and Fernando. You guys went above and beyond for us and we greatly appreciate your hard work and love for the people you deal with everyday. Overall, our trip was fun, eventful, and well needed!

Great resort! Lots to do there and they have a good amount of themed restaurants. Once you first get there, get a layout of everything here so you can. Get the full experience.
