My husband and I stayed here several years ago when they still allowed children and had a wonderful time, and our recent return did not disappoint. We appreciate the intimacy of the smaller restaurants and all of the personal details. Exceptional service and surroundings!
Beautiful, relaxing, amazing
My husband and I visited Beloved in March 2020. We had the most wonderful time, everything from start to finish was perfection. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the grounds are beautiful. There was not one thing that I would have changed about this place. Felipe at the beach was great, as were Antonio and Eduardo. This place was perfect for a relaxing romantic getaway- love it!
Overall Enjoyable Honeymoon
By far the best quality of the Beloved is their service. It seemed like there were as many employees as guests, and this translated to top-notch service at the beach, bars, and restaurants. Food and beverage is a very important part of vacation to us, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at Beloved, especially for an all-inclusive resort. Our favorite restaurant was Le Bisou, which had excellent appetizers and entrees for dinner and a great breakfast buffet. One major disappointment, however, was the quality of the house wines. All wine options were subpar compared to the food offerings; however, I was particularly disappointed that the only sparkling wine offered was a demi-sec. Sparkling wine and mimosas are the main beverage I like to enjoy on the beach, and this wine offering was far too sweet to have more than a few sips. Please consider a brut option. We stayed in the penthouse suite and were pleased with the overall huge room with a great patio space and view. The whole resort was generally very clean and well maintained. We also appreciated any activity that Beloved put on, whether during the day at the beach or in the evenings at the Lupita Lounge.
Best vacation ever
Me and my fiancée went for vacation. We had an amazing time everything was beautiful. The service was outstanding. The staff from checking to dining was excellent. The bar one of my many favorite places to visit, kept me refreshed. We enjoyed our self so much we didn’t want to leave. We are definitely going back hopefully get the same room with ocean view.Room service top notch order food,if you are busy the leave it in the box.At first didn’t know what the box was.Found out it is a little door by the entrance where they leave your request.
A honeymoon that BEYOND defied our expectations!!
My husband and I were eager to book our honeymoon to Beloved after some close friends had gone and said it was worth every penny. We booked a trip for 10 nights in the Swim Up Suite (206 is the room we got to be exact) Booking both our flight and our hotel through the "excellence" website was seamless and saved us a couple hundred dollars as apposed to doing it separately. ARRIVAL Upon arrival, we are greeted so warmly by the front door host who offers us glasses of sparkling wine and a cold essential oil infused towel for our faces. The front door host takes our bags and says they will be waiting for us in our room. We are then escorted inside to the concierge where we are seated with Alejandro who walked us through our check in. His English was impeccable and he walked us through everything from preferences, to allergies, to desires for room service options, and walked us through every detail of our stay. THE ROOM We were then escorted to our room which was a first floor swim up suite. The room was larger than the pictures seem, clean, and bright with a sign that said "it's our honeymoon" on the door! We had a bottle of sparkling wine, chocolate covered strawberries, a the jacuzzi was freshly drawn with soap and rose petals. We LOVED the swim up suite. We were in building two which is in front of one of the 3 pools ( the coldest of the three pools) which worked to our advantage because less people came to this pool and felt more private. We are the room on the corner of the pool which made it so we could walk across the edge to the "Cafeto" to grab coffee in the morning through our back door and not need to go all the way around. THE PEOPLE Part of what made our trip so excellent was the STAFF and how personable and accommodating they were to us on our stay. Many conversations were fun and felt like friends with jokes and us getting excited to see certain people! Memorable people were - Alberto - The sushi/taquila bar server. He was fun, quick, made you feel comfortable, and gave lots of suggestions! Jesus - afternoon/evening server at La Isla - Easily the kindest hearted person at this hotel. Kinda, attentive, and would go the extra mile to make things special. Kenia - Server at the morning at Les Bisou and evening at El Mar - Fun and hard worker! She was wonderful and checked on us over and over! Felipe - Restaurant manager - After an allergy mishap, we met Felipe and he made it his goal to make sure every meal was perfect and delicious Moises - Mornings at Le Bisou and afternoon at El Mar - Gave us fun facts about the resort and Mexico, very conversational and fun! Marcelina - El Mar chef/cook - cooked us the most INCREDIBLE seafood feast on our "romantic" night dinner. Her skills were amazing and i have not had lobster or scallops that delicious. Alejandro - Concierge - Kinda and SO helpful whenever we had questions! Saul Martinez - Restaurant manager - Amazing and attentive and remembered everything about us in a way that felt like he cared and we were more than just customers. THE FOOD Our first night we went to La Isla (the outdoor/open concept italian restaurant). Our server was Jesus. Jesus (who works the afternoon/evening shifts) was amazing, personable, and attentive. We ended up having lengthy conversations with him and we left thinking we HAVE to go back to see Jesus again! There was no restaurant that we went to that we didn't enjoy. Our favorite restaurants were between La Isla and El Mar - we love seafood and these restaurants had plenty to offer. We also went every night to the Sushi bar in Lupita Lounge where Alberto would take great care of us! All the food seemed fresh and had amazing flavor and spices! OVERALL EXPERIENCE We loved how QUIET and SMALL this hotel was! it felt like a tucked away boutique hotel and everything felt personal and curated for us. We attended an event on the beach or the lupita lounge almost every night which were so fun. We did the catamaran excursion to Isla mujeres which was worth it (rent a golf cart!!) and the bike tour with veronica which was short but fun! Worth every penny, you can recluse yoursefl in your room and be fine, or be outside all day long and have a blast!
