I have traveled to a few other places in my life and nothing compared to the trip I took to Belize. A lot of this has to do with the resort and the staff at Belizean Shores. Roberty always made sure any questions we had were answered or any requests were taken care of. He was amazing with customer service and it felt genuine and not forced. Amin and Armando were always entertaining to talk to at the pool bar. The pool and hot tub were clean and used daily by us. The dock to the ocean has hammocks and chairs to look out at the ocean and sunset. The rooms were very spacious and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone who is going to visit Ambergris Caye. We will be back.
loved this resort
room was more than a room - had a bedroom, bath, kitchen, living space and a loft with beds if you bring children. balcony was large with a table and chairs. if you're used to the mega all inclusive hotels this might not be for you but well kept and maid service was great - thanks Maria. not much for food on the premises but just across the street were three great small places with good food fairly cheap.
Family trip went great.
My wife and I went there for my sister’s destination wedding. Roberty and Pedro at the front desk are excellent. They made the checkin process easy and are a big reason for the resort’s success. We were able to rent golf carts there at the resort at a competitive price. Across the street is a coffee shop and food restaurants. Each morning my wife and I went for a nice walk/job both up and down the beach. We felt very safe. The resort is located 3 miles from secret beach and 3 miles from downtown. Great location.
This place is the Best!!
We just got back from a week at the Belizean Shores and just can't say enough good about it. From the super helpful staff in the office to the best bartender on the island (Armando) it was near perfection. Everyone was super nice and helpful and seemed like they were enjoying their job. The rooms were spotlessly clean. You can tell they are not new, but spacious and clean and very comfortable. We were amazed at the many channels we could get on our TV even in the short time we watched TV. There are so many fun things to do on the island. The pool is beautiful and has a swim up bar. Armando and Amin were such fun bartenders and did their best to make a connection with each person there. The drinks are a little spendy. The fancier drinks were around $8 but a beer was around $3. The location is really perfect with a beautiful beach on one side and several little restaurants right across the street. You will still want to get a golf cart though so you can check out all the fun things to do on the island. There is also a tour agency right on sight that will help you to plan some trips, etc. We lined up a snorkeling tour with them and they did a really good job. We stayed here with a large group and not one of us had a complaint about anything here. It is a long, time consuming trip to get here as the airport was chaotic but it was well worth it.
This was out 2nd time staying at this lovely resort and won’t be our last. We had the best time!! The beautifully groomed grounds are impeccably kept. I am so wowed by the hospitality of the personnel, they’ll keep us coming back time and time again. I have to give major kudos to Ruby and Roberty. You will not find a more accommodating team anywhere. They bend over backwards to make your stay drama free and seamless. I couldn’t not mention the porter who happily brings your bags to your accommodation and back upon departure. Never, EVER felt like ANYone had their hand out for a tip - unlike other destinations we’ve visited in that region. The housekeepers are nothing short of just down right beautiful people, inside and out. Also, Linda who runs the resort bar/restaurant is a gem . As last time, we rented a golf cart for the week - the resort is located on the northern end of this absolutely lovely island. Awesome. Plenty of bars/restaurants within an easy reach on the carts. You need to get one. Just rent it from the hotel. Seamless. Cannot WAIT to get back!!!
