    Vacation

    The room was nice and air conditioned and clean! They were able to do a last minute request for us to put some rooms close together which was nice! This was a grad trip and it was a lot of fun! The staff is very friendly! They helped ensure we had a lot of fun! Especially orquidea !!

    Love Marien Puerto Plata, the staff make it!!!

    I had a great time staying at the Marien Puerto Plata Hotel. The place is very clean and nice. The rooms are big, comfortable, and well taken care of. The pool and beach are both beautiful and fun to hang out at. Everything looked neat and fresh, mini fridge was stocked every morning and they would leave us lots of beer and wine! The best part of the trip was the staff. They were all super friendly and always ready to help. They smiled a lot and made sure we were having fun. The entertainment team had fun games and shows every day and night. The bartenders and waiters were fast and polite, and the people cleaning the rooms did an awesome job. We especially love orquidea There were lots of fun things to do at the hotel, so I was never bored. Lot of music and a very social environment!! We came as a group of 8 girls and everyone around was full of fun. There are sooo many chairs on the beach and poolside which is so nice considering our crew could always sit together everyday no matter what time of day it was! I really enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again!!!

    FUN!

    The workers were very kind and felt like family! I felt safe and would very much like to come back here! Perka is amazing and made everything so much fun. The food was great and pool was clean. The beaches were beautiful too. The rooms were nice and chilled and rooms were spotless.

    Vacation

    our package was reasonably cheap and it exceeded our expectations, wifi is good across the majority of the resort, lots of places to eat (the food is good!), and plenty of places to hangout by the pool or beach. Special shoutout to the beach volleyball net! It’s awesome, we played for hours. Our room was fine, never hot; the shower is a little finicky but good pressure and temp. shoutout to the staff, they really made the trip what it was!!! So kind and fun. Special thanks to orquidea feliz

    Resort is Beautiful - Staff are EXTREMELY rude

    My mom & I came for a quick 5 day vacation to enjoy some time off & I can not express how we have never experienced a level of service this bad at any resort we have been to in many countries. The resort itself is beautiful & the time of year we came allowed chairs to be open, and restaurants available to eat at. That being said, the service from the employees has been atrocious. We have waited at bars for 20 minutes while bartenders serve people coming after us, we've had hostess's roll their eyes when we ask a question or need confirmation of restaurants being open. As a family that has traveled to many places & many different resorts, we truly wish we booked at Iberostar next door simply due to the service & rudeness from employees.
